Kit Harington would reprise his role as Jon Snow

Fans of Game of Thrones, here is a news that will make you happy. Kit Harington would have offered to take over his famous character of Jon Snow for a brand new TV series.

The author George R.R. Martin, to whom we owe the series Game of Thrones, confirmed the rumor. Kit Harington could resume his role as the former Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch.

According to Us Weekly, the actor who played Jon Snow in GoT from April 2011 to May 2019 would already be attached to the project. Ten days ago, the Hollywood Reporter reported that HBO Max was already in the early stages of production of the new series.

JonSnow was technically the rightful heir to the Iron Throne of Westeros, so there’s room to launch a Game of Thrones prequel starring the 35-year-old Englishman.

Until the TV network confirms the arrival of a new series starring Kit Harington and his character Jon Snow, fans will soon be able to get their teeth into the House of The Dragon series. The series tells the story of House Targaryen and stars Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.

HBO intends to build on the success of GoT for a long time to come. Five other TV series have been commissioned from George R.R. Martin.

House of The Dragon will be released on August 21.
