Watch Dogs is getting an official manga set in Tokyo

Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs is getting an official manga set in Tokyo. The manga will launch on April 12th and is called Watch Dogs Tokyo.

The series features the Bloom corporation from the Watch Dogs that’s made it to Tokyo.

Manga Mogura RE that spotted the new series shared the synopsis of the new manga.

“It will be about a special new infrastructure system from a company called Bloom Japan used by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to change people’s lives. However this new system does in fact also harbour a great darkness.”

It’s unclear if there will be an English version of the manga. However, it’s worth noting that a lot of manga are then turned into anime, and a Watch Dogs anime set in Tokyo would be pretty cool to see one day.

Takashi Murakami Exposition In Paris

An icon of manga art, Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, will headline an exhibition in Paris.

The exhibition is called Takashi Murakami Paints Self-Portraits and begins on September 15 until October 17 at the Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery located in the third district in the City of Lights.

Some call him the Japanese Warhol whereas the Times refers to him as "The King of Cute", Takashi Murakami has definitely left his mark on pop art in the twenty-first century. In this exhibition, the master explores art through sculpture and painting.

Murakami owes his success to his mother, who introduced him to art at a young age. His mother was a housewife who would visit galleries during the day and asked him for written critiques of the visits, otherwise, there would be no dinner.
