Cara Delevingne shows off head tattoo at MTV Movie and TV Awards

Cara Delevingne debuted her head tattoo at the MTV Movie & TV Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (05.07.17).

The ‘Suicide Squad’ actress sported a flower painted in silver on the back of her shaved head at the ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium, where she wowed in a velvet Saint Laurent mini-dress.

Cara, 24, has shaved her head for an upcoming movie role and has been vocal about the entertainment industry’s beauty standards in recent days.

Alongside a photograph of her shaven head, Cara wrote on Instagram last week: "Its exhausting to be told what beauty should look like. I am tired of society defining beauty for us. Strip away the clothes, Wipe Off the make up, cut off the hair. Remove all the material possessions. Who are we? How are we defining beauty? What do we see as beautiful? (sic)"

Cara is, of course, known for her numerous tattoos and in 2016, her ‘Suicide Squad’ co-star Margot Robbie revealed she gave her a new inking in a rather unusual place.

The Australian actress, who developed a close friendship with Cara while they were making the movie, explained: "We did toe-mojis, we were calling them, where we’d tattoo the bottom of our toes with, like, little faces.

"But, uh, the thing about tattooing the bottom of your toes is that it rubs off after a while, so we have to keep redoing them."

Margot wasn’t aware of the laws surrounding the inking of tattoos, but she had a willing participant in Cara.

Margot shared: "I don’t know what the rules are, but you can buy a tattoo gun on eBay.

"And as long as you’ve got someone who’s willing to let you tattoo them, I guess we just went ahead and did it."

John Legend and Viola Davis are among the names featured on Time magazine’s 100 most influential people list.

The American publication has published its annual Time 100 issue which compiles 100 of the most influential people in the world from various backgrounds including artists, leaders, pioneers, titans, and icons.

Viola has found herself in the icons category alongside names such as model Ashley Graham, gymnast Simone Biles, and actor and drag queen RuPaul who is known for his show ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’.

‘All of Me’ hitmaker John features in the artist category alongside the likes of Emma Stone, Ed Sheeran, James Corden, Margot Robbie, and Sarah Paulson.

Both Viola, 51, and John, 38, are also amongst the five names who have made it onto the covers of the special issue, with actor-and-rapper Riz Ahmed, philanthropist Melinda Gates and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos also making the cut.

Speaking about his place on the list, John said he believes its important for artists to speak out "about issues they care about" as people look up to them.

He told the magazine: "My inspirations are people like Harry Belafonte, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Paul Robeson, artists that I’ve looked up to over the years have always had beautiful reflex of what’s going on in the world and speaks out about issues that they care about."

Alesha Dixon reveals plan to write her own children’s books

Alesha Dixon is to write two children’s books about a female superhero.

The 38-year-old beauty has signed a deal with Scholastic to write two books that center on Aurora Beam, a young superhero, and Alesha has revealed to the BBC that she wanted to create a character who children "can hopefully be inspired by and look up to".

The former Mis-teeq singer’s first book is set to be released later this year, when she will join an ever-growing list of celebrities who have penned children’s stories, including Ricky Gervais, Madonna and Geri Horner.

Alesha’s first foray into writing comes after she admitted she wants to branch out into acting and has been taking classes.

She said: "I have been doing the acting lessons for a few months. It’s good. I do them when I can. I work one-on-one with an acting coach."

The ‘Lipstick’ singer revealed she was inspired by Margot Robbie’s appearance in the ‘Suicide Squad’ movie, in which the Australian actress played the role of Harley Quinn.

Alesha said: "I love the idea of being in an action movie, something like Margot Robbie in ‘Suicide Squad’. A kick-ass role.

"I also love the idea of being in a musical and also dramas, TV dramas, gritty dramas. I am very open-minded, really."

However, one thing Alesha insisted she definitely won’t be doing in 2017 was having another child.

Asked if she plans to have another baby this year, the singer – who already has a three-year-old daughter called Azura with her partner Azuka Ononye – said: "No, definitely not. There aren’t enough days in the week for a baby. I’m struggling with my schedule as it is."

In fact, Alesha said she was keen to slow things down in the coming months.

She previously shared: "The older I get the more life feels faster than ever, so it’s a challenge to slow things down and smell the roses. But I’m very, very happy."

Margot Robbie’s late night drive

Margot Robbie took a midnight spin around Monte Carlo to celebrate becoming the new face of Nissan electric cars.

The ‘Suicide Squad’ star stepped into the driver’s seat of the Nissan BladeGlider, an all-electric sports car which can reach 100kph in less than five seconds.

In the short video, Margot can be seen cruising through Casino Square as well as past the iconic Fairmont Hairpin, one of the most famous corners in Formula One racing.

Margot said: "It’s a really exciting time for electric vehicles. More people are choosing to go electric, leading the way to a more sustainable future and the Nissan BladeGlider hints at the future of smarter performance cars."

Whilst Gareth Dunsmore, Director of Electric Vehicles for Nissan Europe, added: "We want to inspire people to take small steps towards cleaner, safer cities, and working with Margot is the perfect way to do just that."

And Margot is celebrating a personal milestone too, having recently got married to Tom Ackerley.

A source said of their nuptials: "The Gold Coast was somewhere she always wanted to get married, given it’s where she was raised as a kid, on her grandparents’ farm.

"Tom initially wanted to get married in the UK, but he knows how much it means to Margot to tie the knot on home soil and how special it is for her, so he didn’t put up much of a fight.

"They decided to marry around Christmas so they could spend time with both their families afterwards, which they’ve never done before."

The couple met on the set of ‘Suite Française’ and live together in London and Margot believes their relationship is so strong because they are open with each other.

She said: "Over the years, you experience enough situations and your share of heartbreak that you tend to build up defensive walls.

"That happens to most people. The trick is to be able to learn from your previous relationships and become stronger, so that you can allow yourself to be more open and vulnerable again."

Margot Robbie ‘tattoos wedding date on close friends’

Margot Robbie has reportedly tattooed the date of her wedding on some of her close pals.

The 26-year-old actress tied the knot with Tom Ackerley on December 19th at a private property in the Byron Bay Hinterland, and has now ensured that some of her guests will never forget the date by having 19 in Roman numerals inked on their skin, according to the Courier Mail newspaper.

The ‘Suicide Squad’ star announced her shock marriage last week via Instagram, sharing a picture of herself and new husband Tom – who she has been dating for three years – complete with her pear-shaped diamond wedding ring.

In the widely-shared photograph, the image of the couple is blurred out apart from her left hand which features the eye-catching sparkler on her wedding finger, which she is pointing towards the camera.

Around 50 guests were reportedly in attendance at their wedding, which began at 4pm and ended with a disco, which finished around 11pm.

The couple – who are said to have got engaged over the summer – were so determined to keep their big day a secret they even told guests to meet at different locations, from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay, before they were collected by bus and transported to the venue.

Guests were also asked to hand in cameras and mobile phones to ensure a social media blackout was adhered to.

Attendees at the ceremony included the star’s brothers Lachlan and Cameron, and her sister Anya.

However, the Hollywood star is estranged from her dad Doug so mother Sarie is thought to have given her away.

The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star previously confessed she would love to have kids with Tom one day and revealed they would move back Down Under when that time comes.

She said: "They’ll be here. The kids will be in Australia."

Margot Robbie confirms marriage

Margot Robbie has confirmed she has married.

The ‘Suicide Squad’ star has taken to her Instagram account to share a picture of herself and new husband Tom Ackerley – who she has been dating for three years – complete with her pear-shaped diamond wedding ring.

The image of the couple is blurred out apart from her left hand which features the huge sparkler on her wedding finger, which she is pointing towards the camera.

According to News.com.au, Margot, 26, and Tom tied the knot in Coorabell, near Byron Bay, where around 50 guests were in attendance.

The wedding began at 4pm and concluded with a disco which finished around 11pm.

Margot and Tom were so determined to keep their big day a secret they even told guests to meet at different locations, from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay, before they were collected by bus and transported to the venue.

Guests were also asked to hand in cameras and mobile phones to ensure a social media blackout was adhered to.

The pair are said to have got engaged over the summer and managed to keep it a secret.

Attendees at the nuptials included the star’s brothers Lachlan and Cameron, and her sister Anya.

But the actress is estranged from her dad Doug so mother Sarie is thought to have given her away.

Margot was spotted landing in Australia last week with a T-shirt on which read: "Say ‘I do’ Down Under".

The couple met on the set of movie ‘Suite Française’ and live together in London.

Earlier this year, the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star admitted she would love to have kids with Tom one day and insisted they would move back Down Under when that time comes.

She said: "They’ll be here. The kids will be in Australia."

The star also admitted the British director is a big fan of the country.

She said: "He loves Australia. He’s like, ‘I don’t know why anyone leaves Australia.’ "

Margot Robbie marries

Margot Robbie has got married.

The ‘Suicide Squad’ star has tied the knot to her British director partner Tom Ackerley – who she has been dating for three years – on Australia’s Gold Coast, near the town of Dalby where she grew up.

A friend told Australia’s Woman’s Day magazine: "The Gold Coast was somewhere she always wanted to get married, given it’s where she was raised as a kid, on her grandparents’ farm."

The couple’s guests were sworn to secrecy about their big day and the blonde beauty is said to have got her way about the location of their nuptials.

The insider added: "Tom initially wanted to get married in the UK, but he knows how much it means to Margot to tie the knot on home soil and how special it is for her, so he didn’t put up much of a fight.

"They decided to marry around Christmas so they could spend time with both their families afterwards, which they’ve never done before."

But sources told Australia’s Courier-Mail newspaper that Margot, 26, walked down the aisle in Ewingsdale, New South Wales.

Margot and Tom are said to have got engaged over the summer and managed to keep it a secret.

Attendees at the nuptials included the star’s brothers Lachlan and Cameron, and her sister Anya.

But the actress is estranged from her dad Doug so mother Sarie is thought to have given her away.

On Saturday (17.12.16), Cameron wrote on Instagram: " The joys holiday travels; loving families being reunited, gift giving, great food and then… the beautiful realization that after this flight, having children is very much an optional choice. (sic)"

Margot and Tom met on the set of ‘Suite Française’ and live together in London.

The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star recently admitted she thinks their romance is so strong because they’re both so open.

She said: "Over the years, you experience enough situations and your share of heartbreak that you tend to build up defensive walls.

"That happens to most people. The trick is to be able to learn from your previous relationships and become stronger, so that you can allow yourself to be more open and vulnerable again."

Captain America Civil War leads People’s Choice Awards

‘Captain America: Civil War’ has lead the way with seven nominations at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards.

The Marvel blockbuster is in with the chance of nabbing a collection of gongs at the annual event, held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at the beginning of January, after it secured a nod in the Favorite Movie category against ‘Deadpool’, ‘Finding Dory’, ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Zootopia’.

The film – which was directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo – could also walk away with the prize for the Favorite Action Movie, but will have to fight off competition from ‘Suicide Squad’, ‘Deadpool’, ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and X-Men: ‘Apocalypse’.

And with a helping hand from one of the movie’s main stars, Robert Downey Jr. – who portrays Iron Man again – ‘Captain America: Civil War’ could also walk away with the Favorite Movie Actor title, providing he manages to fight off Kevin Hart, Ryan Reynolds, Tom Hanks and Will Smith.

The 51-year-old actor could also walk away with the prestigious prize for the Favorite Action Movie Actor but has been pitted up against his co-star Chris Evans – who plays Captain America – ‘Deadpool’s Reynolds, Suicide Squad’s Smith, and ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’s Liam Hemsworth.

And the film’s leading lady Scarlett Johansson – who plays Black Widow – has also secured two nominations in the Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Action Movie Actress category.

However, if she’s in with the chance of claiming either title, the 31-year-old beauty will need to outdo Margot Robbie and Jennifer Lawrence, who have also secured nominations for both prizes.

Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Kevin Hart, Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron may be known for their more serious roles, but all of them are up for Favorite Comedic Movie Actor.

Anna Kendrick, Kristen Bell, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Rebel Wilson are also up for the same gong in the female equivalent category for their laugh-out-loud antics on the big screen.

On the music front, Blake Shelton, Drake, Justin Timberlake, Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd are in with the chance of claiming Favorite Male Artist, while Adele, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Britney Spears and Rihanna could walk away with the trophy for Favorite Female Artist.

And the ‘Hello’ hitmaker and ‘Side to Side’ singer have also managed to climb into the Favorite Pop Artist category against Britney Spears, Timberlake and Australian artist Sia.

Kanye West – who has been busy touring for the last year – is up against his close friend Wiz Khalifa in the Favorite Hip-Hop Artist, while DJ Khaled, G-Eazy, and Kendrick Lamar have also made the cut.

Margot Robbie gushes about Cara Delevingne

Margot Robbie has "never met anyone" like Cara Delevingne.

The ‘Suicide Squad’ star has gushed about her co-star, who she has dubbed a "rare gem in this world".

She said: "She is a rare gem in this world and I’ve just never met anyone like her.

"She is the most genuine person you can ever meet and there’s nothing calculated about that girl. She’s like a little comet just blasting her way through this world."

The 26-year-old actress – who hails from Australia – has spent a lot of time in the UK and is more than happy to try some of the country’s delicacies including black pudding.

She told Glamour magazine: "At my first bite of black pudding, I was like ‘yum’ and then someone said it’s dried blood and I was like ‘I can’t’. Once I knew, I couldn’t get past it. I tried but I can’t."

Meanwhile, Margot previously described Cara as her "new drinking buddy".

She shared: "What made working on the film even more amazing was that I found my new drinking buddy in Cara. It’s no myth about the British being able to drink, Cara is hardcore. I struggle to keep up. But we have the most fun ever. She is definitely now one of my drinking buddies for life."

Margot is also good friends with another famous Brit – Prince Harry.

She revealed: "He [Prince Harry] is pretty quick on text, actually. Unlike me. I write back four days later, weeks later sometimes."

Kylie Minogue won’t marry until same-sex marriage is legal in Oz

Kylie Minogue and her fiancé Joshua Sasse will not marry until same-sex marriage is legal in her native Australia.

The couple announced their engagement in February this year after five months of dating and the 28-year-old actor has now revealed the lovebirds will not tie the knot until gay and lesbian couples have the same rights as heterosexual couples Down Under.

Joshua says her and Kylie, 48, are keen to tie the knot in her hometown of Melbourne but not until the country has marriage equality.

Speaking to Australia’s Network Seven, he said: "There are chances of a Melbourne wedding … [but] we will not get married until this law has passed in Australia."

Both Joshua and Kylie – who has always had a huge gay fan base -are supporting the Say I Do Down Under campaign which is calling for a law to be passed which will allow men to marry other men and women to wed women.

The ‘Galavant’ star – who launched the campaign with Kylie and Dolly Parton at the weekend – admits he was shocked when he discovered that same sex marriage was illegal in Australia.

He added: "When I found out that gay marriage was illegal in Australia, I was astounded. I simply can’t fathom on any level, whether it’s moral or religious or anything, that I have the right to get married and to marry the person that I love and that somebody else doesn’t because of their sexual orientation."

In September, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull introduced legislation to allow a public, non-binding vote on same-sex marriage to take place in early 2017.

Joshua and Kylie are not the only celebrities calling for same-sex marriage to be legalized in Oz.

Margot Robbie – who is from Queensland – appeared on TV show ‘Saturday Night Live’ at the weekend wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan "Say ‘I Do’ Down Under", with a rainbow map of Australia.
