Margot Robbie to host Saturday Night Live premiere

Margot Robbie will host the first episode of the new series of ‘Saturday Night Live’.

The 26-year-old actress will make her hosting debut as the first celebrity guest-host on the 42nd series of the show which airs on October 1.

Joining her will be singer/songwriter The Weeknd who is performing.

Margot’s involvement was announced on the official SNL Twitter page with a picture of a notice board with three notes stuck to it uploaded to the social media site. The first note read "Oct 1", the second "Margot Robbie" and the third "The Weeknd".

The tweet itself simply read: "SNL is back next weeknd! (sic)"

Sketch show ‘Saturday Night Live’ has launched the careers of comedic heavy hitters such as Bill Murray, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Eddie Murphy. Each show also features two musical performances.

Earlier this month, it was reported that three new cast members, Mikey Day, Alex Moffat and Melissa Villasenor, had joined the cast of the program for its 42nd series. They will replace the roles of Jon Rudnitsky, Jay Pharaoh and Taran Killam who all departed the show in August this year.

The musical appearance from The Weeknd – real name Abel Tesfaye – comes after he recently shared brand new track ‘Starboy’ from his upcoming album of the same name. Whilst the star hasn’t confirmed which songs he will be performing, reports suggest the show will mark the live debut of his new track.

The series premiere marks the first time the ‘Suicide Squad’ actress has appeared on the show.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd has performed a number of times, including with Nicki Minaj last October, and Future in March.

‘Saturday Night Live’ will air on October 1 at 11:35 pm on NBC.

Cara Delevingne and Amber Heard turned away from strip club

Cara Delevingne and Amber Heard were turned away from a strip club in London after they demanded free entry.

The 24-year-old supermodel took the blonde actress to the popular lap dancing club SophistiCats in Marylebone on Friday (08.19.16) to celebrate her divorce from Johnny Depp but her plans were scuppered when they were refused "immediate" admission.

SophistiCats owner Simon Langer told the MailOnline: "We welcome anyone as long as they are respectful but Cara and her friends weren’t behaving how we would expect the majority of our clients to behave.

"Unfortunately the club was full and there was a small queue outside but Cara was adamant that they should be let in immediately and without having to pay the £20 entry price."

Cara then screeched at the door staff because she couldn’t believe they had no idea who she and Amber, 30, were.

Mr. Langer explained: "Cara kept telling the staff, ‘Don’t you know who I am? I’m Cara Delevingne. I’m Cara and this is my friend Amber who’s just got divorced!’

"She kept on telling our staff how famous they were but I’m afraid we are quite used to that. Then she said: ‘Let us in. We just want to see some girls dancing and have some fun!’ "

Cara and Amber arrived at the saucy venue with Margot Robbie and 12 other friends but things turned nasty before they even arrived as staff told them they could only secure a table if they bought a bottle of champagne – the rules that apply to all customers that want the added extra at the club.

Mr Langer said: "Cara wasn’t having any of it and kept turning round to the other girls in amazement.

"She was getting quite angry and agitated but there was nothing we could do about it.

"In the end we told them all to go away because they didn’t want to pay and she swore and threw her hands up."

Amber Heard parties after divorce

Amber Heard, Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne were reportedly denied entry to a club in London over the weekend.

The ‘Magic Mike XXL’ star – who recently reached a divorce settlement with her former spouse Johnny Depp – was seen out in the British capital with the ‘Suicide Squad’ stars but they were reportedly denied entry to strip club SophistiCats in Marylebone.

A source told Mail Online: "They were seen talking to security and then not entering the club. Cara threw her hands up in the air in a frustrated fashion before they all headed for Chiltern Firehouse."

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old actress – who is currently getting over her recent divorce from Depp – previously revealed she would be donating her entire divorce settlement to charity.

She said in a statement: "As described in the restraining order and divorce settlement, money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves

"As reported in the media, the amount received in the divorce was $7 million and $7 million is being donated. This is over and above any funds that I have given away in the past and will continue to give away in the future.

"The donation will be divided equally between the ACLU, with a particular focus to stop violence against women, and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where I have worked as a volunteer for the past 10 years alongside organisations like the Art of Elysium.

"Over the years, I have seen firsthand how more funding for staffing, better equipment and better medication can make the difference between life or death for a child.

"I know these organisations will put the funds to good use and look forward to continuing to support them in the future. Hopefully, this experience results in a positive change in the lives of people who need it the most."

Ruby Rose wants lock of Margot Robbie’s hair

Ruby Rose wants a strand of Margot Robbie’s hair for her comic book collection.

The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star is keen to find a piece of the blonde beauty’s locks so she can keep it alongside her Harley Quinn memorabilia.

In a series of tweets, she wrote: "When you just added some Harley Quinn to your shrine but now you just need @MargotRobbie strand of hair …

"Dear @MargotRobbie do you know where I could find a strand of your hair for a Harley Quinn fan? Asking for a friend… (sic)"

Margot portrayed the fictional super-villain in ‘Suicide Squad’ and previously admitted Harley is one of the best female roles she has ever seen.

When asked if she believes superhero movies are sexist, she said: "It’s always a bit of a generalisation but I wouldn’t even pigeonhole it just to comic book movies. I feel like a lot of movies you could say are sexist. A lot of the time I pick up a script and I love the male character and I’m not that excited about the female character.

"This project was probably the strongest example of me picking up a script where I was like, ‘I want the female character. That is the best character.’ Harley Quinn is, in my opinion, the best character. If I could have picked one, I’d have picked her anyway."

Margot played Harley opposite Jared Leto’s The Joker and revealed he was "doing half her work for her" by always staying in character.

She added: "I was surprised. I loved that stuff. Jared was doing half my work for me. Harley is very much a part of a relationship. To have such commitment from the other half made my job a thousand times easier, and a thousand times more fun. I didn’t know what was going to happen when we got on set. It’s exciting to act opposite that."

Margot Robbie plays insults game with Will Smith

Margot Robbie told Will Smith he has the "hearing of a 90 year old" as they traded insults on a radio show.

Taking part in Playground Insults on Scott Mills BBC Radio 1 Show, the ‘Suicide Squad’ cast members went head to head, trying to make each other laugh with the best digs.

During the game, Margot told Will that he "looked like a less hot version of Obama" and that his "ears stick out so much she could use them as antennas and connect to the Wi-Fi at her mother’s house back in Australia".

The 26-year-old actress also jokingly slammed the 47-year-old actor for being the "worst looking cast member in ‘I Am Legend’" and told him he was "so old she had to Google The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as she didn’t know what it was".

And Will took a few swipes at Margot too, quipping that he "slept with her mother".

However, Margot had a good comeback, telling Will: "Yeah well, she didn’t even bother to call you back … she thought your nickname was Big Willy, but turns out … she felt so mislead by that nickname."

Meanwhile, Will previously revealed he had to politely decline Margot’s offer of a ‘Squad’ tattoo because his wife Jada Pinkett Smith wouldn’t have been impressed with the inking.

He said: "So, Margot comes to work one day with a tattoo gun and she’s like, ‘We’re all getting tattoos.’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t think we are.’ She tattooed probably 17 people on the set and I was like, I’m a grown-ass man I can’t go, ‘Hey baby, look what I did at work today. Jada, look, look, I did this, I got a tattoo, it says ‘Squad’.’ She’d have been like, ‘Yeah, no.’"

Margot Robbie’s vulnerable relationship

Margot Robbie believes the key to a successful relationship is "vulnerability."

The ‘Suicide Squad’ actress has been dating her boyfriend Tom Ackerley for two years after they met on the set of ‘Suite Française’ in 2014 and is convinced their romance is so strong because they’re both so open.

She explained: "Over the years, you experience enough situations and your share of heartbreak that you tend to build up defensive walls.

"That happens to most people. The trick is to be able to learn from your previous relationships and become stronger, so that you can allow yourself to be more open and vulnerable again."

The pair currently live together in London but the 26-year-old beauty’s highly successful career means she spends the majority of her time in the air.

She said: "My jet lag is getting a bit ridiculous now but you know, first world problems. ‘Oh, I have to travel around the world. How awful.’ "

And, although her career is going from strength-to-strength, Margot – who was first thrown into the limelight when she joined ‘Neighbours’ in 2008 – believes she may have "peaked too early" when it comes to her international success.

She explained to heat magazine: "Even I have to admit I may have peaked too early … if someone’s gonna pick between me and Emma Stone, they’re going to pick Emma Stone."

However, the blonde beauty – who was born and raised in Australia – believes she’s come a long way since her younger days – in both career and looks.

She added: "You should have seen me at 14 – with braces and glasses, gangly and doing ballet!"

Will Smith can’t keep up with 20-year-old Suicide Squad co-stars

Will Smith struggled to keep up with his younger co-stars on the set of ‘Suicide Squad’.

The 47-year-old actor – who plays antihero Deadshot in the DC Comics blockbuster – has admitted he required plenty of shuteye after partying with his castmates including Cara Delevingne, 23, and Margot Robbie, 26.

Speaking at the European premiere of the movie at London’s Odeon Leicester Square on Wednesday night (03.08.16), he said: "I’m 47. Do not hang out with 20-year-olds. Do not do it.

"It ruins every aspect of your 40-year-old life when you try to hang out with 20-year-olds.

"I had about six weeks on set when I was like: ‘I can be 20, this is fun’. But from tattooing, to working 14-hour days and then hanging out for four hours, and parties on set… I need a nap."

‘Suicide Squad’ sees him reunite with his ‘Focus’ co-star Margot and he recently recalled being unimpressed by the blonde beauty when they first met – while she was annoyed by his tardiness.

Interviewing one another for E! News, Margot said: "When I first met you it was for the audition for ‘Focus’ and you were late. I’d come from Croatia and I remember being like ‘Why is he late? I should be late.’ "

Will retorted: "At least I was dressed for the interview. She walked into the audition and she had shoes like she’d walked through mud, shorts on, her hair wasn’t done, I was like ‘She doesn’t want this at all.’ "

But Margot insisted she had a good explanation for her unkempt appearance.

She said: "I’d lost my luggage. I’d been backpacking."

Margot also criticised Will – who has son Trey, 23, from a previous marriage, and Jaden 18, and Willow, 15, with wife Jada Pinkett Smith – for his lack of manners.

She said: "I hate it when you say ‘huh?’ It’s rude…. Maybe I shouldn’t be scolding a man that’s twice my age."

Will added: "Somewhere as a child, Margot wasn’t allowed to say ‘Huh?’, she had to say ‘Pardon?’. It’s a habit. She [shouts] ‘It’s pardon!’"

Margot Robbie too busy to wed

Margot Robbie is too busy to get married.

Although the ‘Suicide Squad’ actress is madly in love with her boyfriend Tom Ackerley and thinks he is "the most handsome guy in the world", she insisted that her busy schedule has left her with no time to even think about getting engaged and settling down.

When asked by Extra if an engagement could be on the horizon, she said: "I can’t even get a day off at the moment so that’s stuff’s gonna have to wait."

But that didn’t stop her gushing about Tom, as she said: "I may be biased but I think he’s the most handsome guy in the world."

Margot, 26, met assistant director Tom on the set of the World War II drama ‘Suite Francaise’ in 2013 and he changed her mind about relationships.

She previously said: "[Before we met] I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.’"

Although she now splits her time between Los Angeles and London, Margot recently insisted she would love to move back to her home town in Queensland, Australia, if she was to have a family.

She said: "Yes, the kids will be in Australia."

And Tom has hinted he would be happy to relocate if necessary in the future.

Margot said: "He loves Australia. He’s like, ‘I don’t know why anyone leaves Australia!’"

Will Smith refused to allow Margot Robbie tattoo him

Will Smith refused to let Margot Robbie tattoo him.

The 26-year-old actress showed up on the set of ‘Suicide Squad’ with a tattoo gun and offered to ink her co-stars, including Will, 47, and Cara Delevingne, 23, but he was not impressed.

He told Entertainment Tonight: "I’m a grown-ass man. Margot comes bounding into work with all of her 24-year-old glory like, ‘Guys! Guys! I got a tattoo gun! I got a tattoo gun! We’re all getting tattoos!’ I was like, ‘No, we’re not.’"

And Margot admits her tattoo skills leave a lot to be desired.

She said: "Picture what a four-year-old would draw and stick it on your fridge. That’s kind of one of my tattoos.

"I tattooed Cara’s toes and she tattooed mine as well,"

Meanwhile, Will revealed what he loves most about ‘Suicide Squad’ is that it is a celebration of "diversity" because of the eclectic cast and characters.

He said: "What I love about working with this group, it’s a rainbow. It’s all races, creeds and colors. It’s the diversity that this country is supposed to be about."

Praising director David Ayer’s work on the project, he added: "I’ve made a lot of movies, and some of them you can’t even count as movies. David Ayer said something that was really interesting: He said it’s not a movie of good versus evil, it’s a movie of bad versus evil, and this is one of the baddest casts in the whole damn world right here."

‘Suicide Squad’ follows the group of incarcerated baddies as they are assembled to form a special black ops team to carry out a highly dangerous mission for a secret US government agency.

The world premiere took place in New York City on Monday (08.01.16) and the Warner Bros. Pictures movie hits cinemas on August 5.

Will Smith doesn’t ‘ever’ want to revive Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Will Smith doesn’t "ever" want to revive ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’.

The 47-year-old actor, who portrayed a fictionalised version of himself in the classic 1990s sit-com, insists speculation the show is to return with him at the helm and as co-producer is untrue as he’ll only go back to the show when "hell freezes over".

Speaking to E! news about a possible comeback, he said: "I don’t think ever, like pretty close to when hell freezes over.

"Like we’re going to leave that one alone."

Will’s latest movie, ‘Suicide Squad’, sees him reunite with his ‘Focus’ co-star Margot Robbie and he recalled being unimpressed by the 26-year-old beauty when they first met – while she was annoyed by his tardiness.

Interviewing one another for E! News, Margot said: "When I first met you it was for the audition for ‘Focus’ and you were late. I’d come from Croatia and I remember being like ‘Why is he late? I should be late.’ "

Will added: "Somewhere as a child, Margot wasn’t allowed to say ‘Huh?’, she had to say ‘Pardon?’. It’s a habit. She [shouts] ‘It’s pardon!’ "

And Will is amused by his friend’s daredevil attitude to life.

He said: "She is a wild explorer, Margot will try anything. There is nothing that someone can suggest, ‘Hey what if we…’ ‘Yeah yeah’. ‘Margot, maybe you should find out what it is first.’ "
