Orlando Bloom has been turning on the charm in a bid to secure a date with Margot Robbie.
The 37-year-old – who announced the end of his marriage to Australian model Miranda Kerr last year – was rumoured to have shared a kiss with Robbie, 24, at The Golden Globes afterparty in January and he’s also been showering the actress with gifts, including a bouquet of flowers and a cuddly bear.
A source told Woman’s Day magazine: ”Orlando has been bombarding her with flirty text messages and phone calls.
”He’s turning on the charm and practically begging her to hook up with him.”
However, standing in Bloom’s way is ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ star’s current boyfriend, Tom Ackerley, whom she met on the set of the film ‘Suite Francais’ in June, where he was working as an assistant film director.
And while she is said to be flattered by interest from Bloom – who’s starred in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchises – she is keen to see how her relationship with Ackerley develops first.
Robbie has apparently been an admirer of Bloom ever since her school days, but has so far resisted his advances because she is dating Ackerley.
