Mark Wahlberg doesn’t sweat

Mark Wahlberg "doesn’t ever sweat".

The 46-year-old actor might keep himself in great shape when he hits the gym, but he won’t be caught breaking into a sweat as his ‘Daddy’s Home’ co-star Will Ferrell has revealed the hunk never perspires, and joked he can even wear "wool suits" without fear of overheating.

Speaking to Ellen Degeneres during an appearance on her talk show alongside Mark, 50-year-old Will said: "He doesn’t ever sweat. We’ve done interviews together and all of a sudden I’ll break out sweating profusely. And Mark just goes, ‘What’s going on? You OK?’ "

Will then told his co-star: "And you’ll be in a wool suit with a tie and looking perfect!"

Mark’s ability to keep dry also comes in handy when the star is keeping up with his exercise regime, although he previously admitted maintaining his physique is "harder" now that he’s older.

He shared: "It gets harder the older you get. That’s why staying in shape and maintaining it is always easier than going from one extreme to the other, heavy to getting in shape to stopping training and getting heavy again."

And the ‘Deepwater Horizon’ star takes a strict approach to his meals in order to help him stay in shape, even though his children – Ella, 13, Michael, 10, Brendan, eight and Grace, six – think his eating habits are "disgusting".

He said previously: "I start at, like, 2 a.m. Egg whites and Ezekiel bread with some almond butter. Then I have some Greek yogurt and a shake. And turkey burgers with sweet potato. Then I have a chicken.

"The kids are eating pancakes and I’m just roasting a chicken, and the whole house smells like chicken, and they are like, ‘Dad, you are disgusting.’ I’ve had all those meals already today, and I just had a tuna salad. And I’m looking forward to some whitefish in about an hour."

Demi Lovato to sing national anthem at Mayweather-McGregor

Demi Lovato will sing the US national anthem at Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor’s epic boxing bout.

The 25-year-old star will take to the stage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday (26.08.17) to belt out the iconic ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ tune ahead of one of sport’s most hotly-anticipated events of all time between the professional boxer and the UFC fighter.

A tweet on the account of Mayweather Promotions – of which Floyd is president – read: ".@ddlovato set to sing the National Anthem prior to Floyd & Conor making their way to the stage on fight night! (sic)"

TV channel Showtime also tweeted: "Excited to have #Grammy nominated and multi-platinum global artist @ddlovato sing the National Anthem at #MayweatherMcGregor! (sic)"

Demi confirmed the news by retweeting both of the messages on her own Twitter account, and it won’t be the first time she has performed the US national anthem.

The raven-haired star sang the famous tune at game four of Major League Baseball’s 2015 World Series, game five of the 2011 World Series and at an American football game involving the Dallas Cowboys in 2008.

But it will be the first time she has performed the song at a boxing match.

Demi will be joined by a host of stars at the so-called "Fight of the Century", including Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, Drake, Denzel Washington and L.L. Cool J.

Some celebs are expected to arrive in Vegas earlier this week, and that certainly seems to be Demi’s plan.

She tweeted: "See you on Thursday in Vegas?? We’re shooting something special with @MTV (sic)"

Actor Jamie Foxx, basketball sensation LeBron James and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine are also expected to attend the fight.

The bout is particularly eagerly anticipated because it will see undefeated boxer Mayweather taken on an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star in McGregor, in what will be the Irishman’s first fight as a professional boxer.

Mark Wahlberg named Hollywood’s highest-paid actor

Mark Wahlberg has been named Hollywood’s highest-paid actor.

The ‘Deepwater Horizon’ star has topped Forbes’ list for 2017 after earning a whopping $68 million, thanks to huge roles in ‘Daddy’s Home 2’ and ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’.

Following not that far behind is Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who earned $65 million, from his parts in ‘Baywatch’ and ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’, which he is said to have received eight sum figures for.

Earning $54.5 million from the latest instalment of the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise amongst others, Vin Diesel took third place, followed by Adam Sandler ($50.5 million), Jackie Chan ($49 million) and Robert Downey Jr. ($48 million).

Tom Cruise ($43 million) and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan ($38 million) took seventh and eight place respectively. And completing the top 10 were two other Bollywood actors – Salman Khan ($37 million) and Akshay Kumar ($35.5 million).

Meanwhile, Mark previously revealed being a father to daughters Ella, 13, and Grace, seven, and sons Brendan, eight and Michael, 11 – who he has with his wife Rhea Durham – is his number one priority.

When asked if being a spiritual person affected which roles he chose, he shared: "Absolutely. And also being a dad. And a husband. What I’m willing to do and not do. I never want to compromise my artistic integrity. But at the same time, with [playing a porn star in] ‘Boogie Nights’, I already did that. I’d be hard-pressed to do something in that world today …

"Sometimes you have no control [over a film’s success]. Once you’ve done everything you can to create something, it goes out there and it either works or doesn’t. At the end of the day I just know I did everything I could do to make it the best it would be. Then you gotta be able to move on. Let it go."

Angelina Jolie set for Mayweather v McGregor fight

Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron are among the stars expected to attend Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor’s epic boxing bout.

The ‘Tomb Raider’ actor and the ‘Mad Max’ star are planning to descend on Las Vegas on August 26 for what has been billed as the fight of the century, as are the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Drake, Denzel Washington and L.L. Cool J.

According to TMZ Sports, several stars will have front row and centre seats at the T-Mobile Arena in Sin City, with actor Jamie Foxx, basketball sensation LeBron James and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine expected to be among them.

Some stars will no doubt head to Vegas earlier in the week before the fight, and others may not even have tickets but plan to watch the action at parties at nearby venues.

One singer who may be in attendance is Justin Bieber, who is known to be good friends with Mayweather.

However, the ‘Never Say Never’ hitmaker recently insisted he doesn’t think is pal will knock out UFC fighter McGregor.

Quizzed on whether he thinks Mayweather will deliver an ultimate blow to McGregor, he said: "I don’t think so. I think it’ll be a good fight."

Justin praised Mayweather – who is thought to be dating British reality TV star Abi Clarke – for being an inspiration earlier this year when he attended the professional boxer’s 40th birthday party in Los Angeles.

He said: "I love this guy. I look up to him. Give it up for the champ."

Mark Wahlberg is overprotective of daughter Ella Rae

Mark Wahlberg is "super overprotective" of his teenage daughter.

The ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ star says his 13-year-old daughter Ella Rae has caught the eye of a boy and whilst he was nothing but "polite and well prepared", Mark still feels protective over his daughter.

He told Entertainment Tonight: "Nobody is a good type or sort. For me, you know, I’m super overprotective. But he’s just a very nice, young, smart boy who is very polite and well prepared.

"She’s a sweetheart, she’s growing up too fast. It’s just the fatherly thing in me, you know? I just don’t want [her] being anything other than sheltered and protected."

Meanwhile, Mark previously revealed he recently accompanied Ella Rae on a date and was "one-upped" by the guy, who brought his mom along on the date too.

He shared: "The kid – she had one that was not a nice boy and it was innocent enough – but I was like, ‘I wanna meet this kid’. I wanna meet him and then you can hang out with him in a safe environment and she was like, ‘What’s a safe environment, dad?’ … Everything is the attitude.

"So all of a sudden this kid comes over and he one-ups me … he brings his mom! The genius thing is he was so sweet and [my daughter] is like steamrolling me all the time and he’s seeing it, like she’s being rude to me and she’s being mean to me and she’s like if you’re not nice to him, he may not wanna be around you."

And Mark – who also has Michael, 11, Brendan, eight, and Grace, seven, with his wife Rhea Durham – would love to see Ella settle down with the first boy she meets, although he knows that probably won’t be the case.

He added: "I’m like, OK, the perfect scenario is to find one boy that she’s with forever but I don’t know if she can hold him down!"

Sienna Miller leaked breast milk on Mark Wahlberg

Sienna Miller leaked breast milk all over Mark Wahlberg during their first meeting.

The 35-year-old actress met the Hollywood star at the Golden Globes six months after she had given birth to her four-year-old daughter Marlowe, and Sienna remembers the unusual encounter vividly.

The blonde beauty explained: "I met him just six months after having a baby and I was still breast feeding, but what he doesn’t know is that when he very sweetly gave me a big hug I lactated all over him!"

Mark admitted he was completely oblivious to the situation, but he suggested that such bizarre moments aren’t uncommon at the annual awards bash.

Appearing on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, Mark said: "I had no idea! It is the Golden Globes so anything can happen!"

Sienna co-parents her daughter with her ex-boyfriend Tom Sturridge, who she recently hailed as one of her "best friends".

The former couple split in 2015, but have subsequently remained on good terms, living a few streets away from one another in New York City.

She said: "We do bedtime every day. We felt like as much togetherness as possible would be ideal, and fortunately we really love each other and are best friends, and so that works.

"It’s not that it’s not complicated, because it is."

The ‘Lost City of Z’ star relishes being a mother, but she admitted that being responsible for a child can feel "crippling", especially when she looks at other people in different situations.

Sienna – who was also previously involved in a high-profile relationship with Jude Law – said: "You’re so enriched by it and so fulfilled, but at the same time, I look at these people who just don’t have any responsibility, and it feels like the responsibility is crippling."

Justin Bieber shocks Mark Wahlberg with his underwear messages

Mark Wahlberg was taken aback when Justin Bieber sent him pictures of him in his underwear.

The 45-year-old actor – who stripped down to his tighty whities in a photoshoot with Calvin Klein in 1992 – has admitted the 22-year-old singer bombarded him with half naked images of him from the My Calvins Spring/Summer 2016 campaign, which Mark has hinted made him feel very uncomfortable because he is a man over twice his age and has children.

Speaking about the moment the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker’s raunchy portrait flashed up in his inbox, the ‘Deepwater Horizon’ star – who has sons Michael, 10, Brendan, eight, as well as daughters Ella, 13, and seven-year-old Grace with his wife Rhea – said: "He did send me the pictures and I was like, ‘You don’t send a guy pictures like this in your underwear.’

"He was proud, you know, it was a big deal for him to do. And I was like, I am at 45, a dad and a husband, a father of four, I’m trying to move away from that image."

Although Mark has described the Canadian-born star as having "attitude", he has admitted he was "the biggest punk in the world" when he was younger and would have made Justin look like an angel if the pair were to be compared to one another at the same age.

He explained: "You know what? People give him flack for growing up in the spotlight and they say he has a bit of an attitude, but look at the look on my face, I mean, I was the biggest punk in the world. He’s very nice and young and polite in comparison to what I was.

"Actually, you know what, he is a very nice young man, he’s a friend of mine, I’ve spent time with him."

And the dark-haired hunk says that despite looking proud of himself in his commercial for the longstanding American brand as he grabbed at his crotch, he has admitted it wasn’t his "proudest moment" of his career.

Speaking on the American talk show ‘Conan’, he said: "Well, I can’t say I [haven’t] done worse things, but that wasn’t one of my proudest moments."

Maisie Williams has lost her ‘special pillow’

Maisie Williams has lost her "special pillow" with her initials printed on it.

The 19-year-old actress – who is best known for her starring role as Arya Stark in the fantasy drama series ‘Game of Thrones’ – was in Hollywood on Sunday (01.08.17) for the Golden Globes and stayed at a Peninsula Hotels hotel in Los Angeles after the ceremony, which is the last place she saw her personalized cushion.

Maisie has messaged the company via Twitter to ask if it has been found and also joked that they could present it to Mark Wahlberg if he ever stayed at the same establishment.

Taking to the micro-blogging site to try and locate the item, she wrote: "Ahh @PeninsulaHotels I left my special pillow with my initials on in my room, is it still there or have you recycled it for Mark Wahlberg? (sic)"

The British star is not having much luck of late, as days ago topless photographs, which she only intended to share with her inner-circle over Facebook, ended up popping up on Reddit.

A spokesperson said: "The images online were shared from Maisie’s personal social media account. The images are not explicit in nature, but pictures of Maisie and close friends at a spa at a recent visit in Japan."

The representative declined to explain how the images – which have caused a buzz online – ended up on Reddit, or whether Maisie will change her approach to her activity on social media going forwards.

Mark Wahlberg bought his mum a car

Mark Wahlberg bought his mum a new car as an early Christmas present.

The 45-year-old actor has splashed out on some lavish gifts for his family this year, not least of all the brand new Hyundai Azera that the star handed to his mother Alma before they headed out to the Boston premiere of his new movie ‘Patriots Day’ – which is based on the terrible events of the Boston bombings – on Wednesday (14.12.16).

Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Alma said: "I looked out my front door today, and there was this brand new car sitting out there with the big red bow on it!

"Don’t laugh! He bought me a brand new Hyundai Azera, my favourite car in the world!"

But the ‘Deepwater Horizon’ actor has admitted the car probably wasn’t as big of a surprise as he would have liked, as his mother "kept asking" him if he could buy it for her.

He said: "She was in love with this Hyundai. She kept asking me, and I kept saying no, and she told my sis that I was getting one anyway, so then I was like, ‘Alright, let’s just get it for her.’

"I wanted it to be a surprise. If you’re going to do it, you gotta do it right."

The starting price for the flashy car is a cool $34,100, but money is no object for Mark when it comes to making his mother happy, as Alma says he’s "grateful" to have her.

She revealed: "I don’t know if there’s words [to describe how proud I am], but he’s come a long way.

"About a year and a half ago, I said to him, ‘You know the rules, call your mother! You have to call your mother!’ And he’s like, ‘Well I was busy.’ I said, ‘No, no, no, all you have to do is: ‘Hi Ma, how ya doin? OK I gotta go!’

"So, he’s called me every day for the last two years. Every day…And you know what I love? He’s grateful, and so that makes me really happy."

Mark Wahlberg’s favorite holiday

Mark Wahlberg’s favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because of his "troubled past".

The 45-year-old actor actor carries a permanent criminal record due to an assault he carried out at the age of 16 when he hit a Vietnamese man in the head with a stick while trying to steal alcohol. He was convicted for the crime and served 45 days of his two-year sentence in an adult prison due to the severity of the attack and the racist language he used.

Now, the ‘Deepwater Horizon’ star has said Thanksgiving – the American holiday in which many people celebrate the things they are thankful for – is "the most important holiday" for him to recognize how far he’s come.

Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the star said: "I don’t want my wife to hear this but for me it’s the most important holiday. It’s just always been since I was very young and because of my troubled past, the one holiday that I missed was Thanksgiving. So for me, it’s the most important.

"We just had a mini Thanksgiving last week in Boston with my mom and some of my brothers, so it was really nice getting everybody together."

Meanwhile, the ‘Patriots’ Day’ actor has said he’s keen to make sure his four children – Ella, 13, Michael, nine, Brendan, seven, and Grace, six, whom he shares with model wife Rhea Durham – don’t go down the same path he did, and said he will discuss with them his tough teenage years growing up in Boston, which included abusing drugs from the age of just 13, when they’re old enough to understand.

He said previously: "I want them to learn that if you’re good and you do good, then good things happen and if you lie or you get in trouble and try to cover it up with a lie, there’s a snowball effect … you have to be responsible, talk nice, be kind to each other, clean up behind yourself. When they get a little older, I’ll tell them where I’ve come from and what I’ve had to do to overcome some pretty big odds."
