Mark Wahlberg Expecting Baby #4

According to The National Enquirer, Wahlberg’s bride, Rhea Durham, is expecting another baby.

The two finally wed last Saturday (August 1) after being together for eight years.  They are also already the parents of three children, Ella, 6, Michael, 3, and Brendan, 11 months.  All of the children attended their parents’ intimate wedding ceremony in Beverly Hills.

"Just days before the wedding, Mark and Rhea got the news that the baby she’s expecting is a girl. They’re thrilled to be welcoming their fourth child and so happy to have finally become husband and wife," an inside source told the tabloid.

A spokesperson for Wahlberg has not confirmed the news.

Mark Wahlberg Gets Married

The 45-minute romantic ceremony took place on Saturday in front of twelve close friends and family members at the Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills.

Wahlberg and Durham have three children together, Ella Rae, 5, Michael, 3, and Brendan, 10 months, who were all present at the ceremony.

The actor was dressed in black, while the bride wore a Marchena dress with a diamond necklace and bracelet. The church was decorated with pink candles.

The 38-year-old actor and his 31-year-old bride will spend time together before the star embarks on a promotion tour for his next film.  Wahlberg will soon be seen in The Lovely Bones, directed by Peter Jackson and set to hit theatres in December.

Amy Adams Joins The Fighter

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adams has joined the cast of The Fighter, which also stars Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale.

The story recounts the life of boxer Mickey Ward (Wahlberg), from his difficult start in the streets of Lowell, Massachusetts to his training with the help of his half-brother and trainer Dick Eklund (Bale) for the World Lightweight Championship in London.

Amy Adams will play a tough barmaid who eventually dates Ward. Melissa Leo will also be in the movie as the mother of the two men.

Filming will begin next month in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Meanwhile, Amy Adams can be seen in the film Julie & Julia in theatres on August 7.

Christian Bale Joins Mark Wahlberg

According to Variety, Christian Bale and director David O. Russell (Three Kings) have signed on for the production of The Fighter.

In the film inspired by true facts, Mark Wahlberg will play the boxer, Mickey Ward. Bale will star as his half-brother, Dicky Eklund, who is also a talented fighter but turns corrupt. However, Bale will take life back into his own hands by helping help his brother on his quest to win the lightweight championship title.

Production for the film is set to begin in July.

In the meantime, we can see Christian Bale in Terminator Salvation on May 22 and in Public Enemies, opening on July 1.

Mark Wahlberg and James Franco Join Date Night

According to Variety, Wahlberg and Franco have accepted roles in the upcoming film.

Directed by Shawn Levy, the film will also star Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Leighton Meester, Common, Taraji P. Henson and Kristen Wiig.

Carell and Fey will play a married couple whose lives have become routine.  Wahlberg will play a man who begins flirting with Fey’s character, while Franco will play a small-time crook.  Meester will play a nanny, and Henson will be a police officer who believes that the couple is in danger.

In the meantime, Wahlberg will be starring in The Lovely Bones, which will hit theatres on December 11.  Franco is currently filming Howl, expected for a 2010 release.

Christian Bale To Star Opposite Mark Wahlberg

Bale and Wahlberg may be joining the cast of the upcoming thriller, written by Aaron Guzinkowski.

Bryan Singer (Valkyrie) may be directing the project, in which Wahlberg would play a father seeking revenge for the kidnapping of his 6-year-old daughter and her best friend.  The film will be in the same genre as the films The Silence of the Lambs and Se7en.

In the meantime, we can next see Christian Bale in Terminator Salvation, opening on May 22, and in Public Enemies, which hits theatres on July 1.

Bryan Singer Considers a Thriller

Producer and director Bryan Singer (Valkyrie, Superman Returns) is seriously considering taking on the thriller, The Prisoners, with Mark Wahlberg.

Wahlberg will play a father in Boston who takes justice into his own hands when his daughter’s best friend gets kidnapped.

The screenplay, written by Aaron Guzikowski, has been compared to those for The Silence of the Lambs and Se7en.

At the moment, Singer is examining the possibilities of getting involved in the project, but nothing has officially been confirmed.

Mark Wahlberg Plans New Film

According to Variety, Wahlberg has agreed to star in the upcoming thriller, written by Aaron Guzikowski.

The story follows a father whose 6-year-old daughter, along with her friend, get abducted.  Soon the man takes matters into his own hands, and decides to carry out justice himself.

The film has not yet found a director, and is still shopping studios.

In the meantime, Wahlberg will star in The Lovely Bones, opening on December 11.

The Entourage producer joked, "If we do it here [in L.A.], it’ll probably just be us and the kids. If we do it in Boston, I would say there’d be a lot more family members, so there’ll be some fighting."

Wahlberg and Durham, who have three children together, have not finalized all the wedding details, although the actor says that the ceremony will probably take place in August in a Catholic church.
