Mini Clubman S Rally Edition

Being called the Rally Edition, this variation of the Mini Clubman S sets itself apart with its "Midnight Black" colour, automatic climate control, multi-function steering wheel and a Bluetooth kit.

Added to the Sport package is a dynamic traction control system (DTC), Xenon headlights, hood stripes, 17-inch black wheels and white turn indicators.

Under the hood, we find the same 1.6-litre, 172-horsepower engine, which is traditionally equipped in the Clubman S.

The roof rails in the official photos and the John Cooper Works aero kit are offered as optional features.

Starting in October, the Mini Clubman S Rally Edition will be sold as a limited edition, with only 70 models hitting the American market at the price of $32 999 US.

BMW Mini Celebrates 50 Years

Strictly a two-seater, the Mini Coupe Concept is a reinterpretation of the brand’s traditional, recognizable design elements, including the car’s grill, round headlights and rear brake lights.

The car will likely have a bigger appeal with sportsmen, with its roof spoiler, 18-inch wheels, high waistline and muscular shoulders.  Inside, the two bucket seats leave room to spare.

Under the hood is a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine with 211 horsepower, the same as which is currently found in the Mini John Cooper Works.  The center of gravity is lower than the classic version, giving the driver even more grip on winding roads.

The Mini Coupe Concept will be presented at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September, and production will begin when adequate orders have been placed.
