Pat Mahomes helps the Chiefs financially!

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and the best QB on the planet, has decided to help his club by agreeing to a restructuring of his titanic $450 million (10-year) contract.

The goal of the exercise is to free up a whopping $21.6 million to bring the Kansas City organization into salary cap compliance, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

In this way, by deferring (Mahomes’) salary, the Chiefs will be able to have a little more fun when hiring free agents, and once again be one of the clubs aspiring to top honours.

The Chiefs are on a mission to achieve a hat-trick of NFL titles.

Remember that in 2023, the Chiefs also had to reshape Pat Mahomes’ deal, which will allow him to pocket $208.1 million from 2023 to 2026.

Ezekiel Elliott to the Patriots is still a shock to many

Ezekiel Elliott, who spent the first seven years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, will be undergoing a major change.

Indeed, the NFL player, drafted in 2016, is moving to the Patriots, some big news that got many fans still in shock, many days after the confirmation of this move.

Elliot has a one-year deal with the New England team, worth up to six million.

The player shared this news by revealing that he would be trading number 21 for number 15 with the Patriots organization.

Jalen Hurts signed biggest contract in NFL history

It was just a matter of time before the Philadelphia Eagles announced the contract extension of their star QB Jalen Hurts. 

Moments ago, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that Hurts signed the biggest NFL contract ever. He inked a 5 years $255 million extension with a no-trade clause. 

After a record season for the Philly QB, he has been officially chosen to be the future of the team. With that historic pay check comes a lot of incentives that could make him reach more than $274 million.

His agent Nicole Lynn is also becoming the female who negotiated the biggest contract in sports history.

NFL and DAZN Group announce new 10-year deal for Canada starting in 2023

The National Football League (NFL) and DAZN Group have confirmed that a new 10-year deal is in place. Starting with the 2023 season, a decade-long commitment will see NFL season and the Super Bowl available to stream in Canada.

DAZN offers on-demand streaming options for NFL Game Pass International. This platform secures a way for those outside of the U.S. to turn into every NFL matchup throughout the regular season. Games held in the postseason are also available. This includes NFL Network, NFL RedZone, and an extensive library of NFL Films and NFL Media Programming.

DAZN is largely considered one of the lesser-known streaming services in Canada. However, around this time of year, the demand for streaming options surges as the Super Bowl draws near. This is likely to be the case again as Super Bowl LVII is around the corner. Cable broadcasts for the NFL remain secure by Bell Media. Therefore, cable cutters typically turn to DAZN for a way to tune in each year.

Aaron Rodgers reveals the secret of his recent dominance

Aaron Rodgers just revealed his secret about his recent dominance in the NFL: he improved his mental health thanks to the ayahuasca plant.

Rodgers said in a podcast that his psychological experience in South America three years ago and the consumption of this plant, which contains dimethyltryptamine (DMT), helped him learn to love himself and made him progress on a human level.

He says it’s no coincidence that he had the best season of his career with the Green Bay Packers, despite being 38 years old, and that he won the league’s MVP award in 2020 and 2021.

Aaron Rodgers’ goal in speaking out in this way about the ayahuasca plant, which is taken in the form of a drink, is to change negative stereotypes about the use of this product.

“I think there are so many myths and rumors about this plant. The fear around it is huge. It’s just a big puke fest…” he said via theAubrey Marcus podcast

The Denver Broncos will now be able to count on Lewis Hamilton as the Formula One legend has invested in the NFL organization, expanding his portfolio.

The 37-year-old seven-time world champion has an uncommon amount of winning expertise, which has certainly attracted the club’s new owners, the Walton-Penner family.

Rob Walton, one of the Colorado club’s owners, said how excited he was to have the man with a fortune valued at $350 million Canadian dollars.

“He’s a competitive champion who knows what it takes to lead a winning team and a strong advocate for global equality, including in his own sport,” Watson said.

It is no coincidence that Sir Lewis joined the Broncos as he owns a mansion on the Colorado mountainside.

Remember that he also owns a luxurious penthouse in New York, which shows that he has some feet on American soil.

Lewis Hamilton seems interested in diversifying his portfolio. Recently, he showed interest in acquiring Premier League club Chelsea.

TSN, CTV, other Bell Media channels to remain home of NFL in Canada

Bell Media channels will remain the home of football broadcasts in Canada, thanks to a fresh media rights agreement between Bell and the National Football League (NFL).

That means Canadian football fans can continue tuning into games on TSN, CTV, CTV2, RDS, live streaming through the networks’ official apps, and through TSN Direct and RDS Direct subscriptions. A Bell Media release says fans will be able to watch pre-season games through to the Super Bowl, with the extended, multi-year agreement including:

  • Thursday Night Football regular-season games
  • Sunday 1pm ET regular-season games
  • Sunday 4pm ET regular-season games
  • Sunday Night Football regular-season games
  • Monday Night Football regular-season games, including the new slate of games produced by ABC
  • NFL RedZone, available every Sunday starting at 1pm ET
  • All ‘International Series’ games, including the recently announced game live from Germany
  • All Playoff games
  • The Super Bowl

Bell Media is the exclusive television broadcast partner of the NFL in Canada. It’s worth noting that TSN has televised NFL games since 1987, and CTV’s NFL partnership began in 2007.

Of course, for fans of the Super Bowl’s big-budget advertisements, this will continue the Canadian tradition of missing out. As a refresher, Bell argued it would lose millions in ad revenue if U.S. Super Bowl ads were aired in Canada and a December 2019 ruling banned American ads from airing in Canada.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. believes the firing of Tampa Bay Buccaneers pass catcher Antonio Brown was unjustified. As a result, he is willing to help him find another job.

If an NLF team wants to offer a contract to the controversial but talented catcher, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is offering to pay $20 million of his annual salary.

The boxing legend made the proposal to all NFL teams during his appearance on The Pivot Podcast.

“I think AB is really misunderstood. He just wants to be treated fairly. And this goes out to all the teams that are watching us right now. We’re offering them a deal: If they sign AB and AB goes through the whole season, no problems, then they have to give us $20 million. But if he screws up, then we have to give them $20 million. So if a team wants to match that, let them contact us.”

Antonio Brown himself ended his season last year when he took off his gear in the middle of a game in Tampa Bay, only to have the Bucs fire him for it.

Gisele Bundchen dreams of living in a tree house.

The 34-year-old supermodel admits that the memories of running around on her grandmother’s farm in Brazil as a child have left her with dreams of living a similarly peaceful life with her husband, American football star Tom Brady, and children Benjamin and Vivian.

She shared: ”My earliest memory was going to my grandma’s house, milking cows and collecting the eggs from the chickens. If I could choose, I’d be bare feet with animals all around me and living in a tree house. Like Tarzan and Jane, that’s my dream. I’m at my happiest around nature.”

The blonde beauty – who previously dated ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ star Leonardo DiCaprio – claims she’s unhappy that ”disrespectful and invasive” paparazzi have found her hidden eco-luxury home in Costa Rica as she believes they should be more considerate of her private life.

Gisele explained: ”I’m a model as a job, I’m Gisele, the daughter of Valdir and Vania, I’m a woman, I am a model. When I go home and shut the door, that’s it. If I want to expose something, it should be my choice. I think the paps should bother with the people that enjoy that kind of thing.”

The mother-of-two has confessed that she is planning to take a step back from her busy work schedule next year in a bid to spend more time with her family.

Insisting she has no plans to retire completely, however, she added to Vogue magazine: ”Not that I’m never going to work again, but I feel like there are periods to your life and priorities shift.

”I started when I was 14; before, I was just myself, and now I have a family of my own. My family is my number one focus. I’m looking forward to what the beautiful future holds.”
