Kim Kardashian West dismisses South suggestion

Kim Kardashian West insists naming her son South is the ”stupidest” idea.

The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star and her husband Kanye West are expecting their second child, a boy, but she won’t be giving the tot a moniker that is a ”lower direction” than her two-year-old daughter’s name, North.

Asked on Shaquille O’Neal’s ‘Big Podcast’ how many times she has been asked if she will name the baby South West, she said: ”I’ve been asked hundreds of times. And I think it’s the stupidest question, no disrespect to you.

”Why just add another direction? We’re good. North is the best. I don’t want to try and duplicate that with like a lower direction, you know?”

Kanye recently spoke out to defend his daughter’s ”innovative” name.

He said: ”Ya’ll be calling my daughter’s name weird, like, her name should be like some name that you’ve heard before and all that. I don’t like to say that it’s weird when it’s innovative and fresh.

”Like I hate that, like, creatives are beat down so much and are put in a position where they can’t even speak out loud, that’s the reason why the world be ugly, because there’s millions of beautiful colors in the world but the world is only controlled by one color.”

Kanye West: North’s name is innovative

Kanye West believes his daughter’s name is ”innovative and fresh”.

The ‘All Day’ rapper – who is expecting his second child with wife Kim Kardashian West – hates it when people describe 23-month-old North’s moniker as ”weird” and thinks the world is ”ugly” because there is so much criticism of those that don’t conform.

He said: ”Ya’ll be calling my daughter’s name weird, like, her name should be like some name that you’ve heard before and all that. I don’t like to say that it’s weird when it’s innovative and fresh.

”Like I hate that, like, creatives are beat down so much and are put in a position where they can’t even speak out loud, that’s the reason why the world be ugly, because there’s millions of beautiful colors in the world but the world is only controlled by one color.”

Though the 37-year-old rapper says he can’t defend himself against all criticism, he insists he is ”brave” enough to take the ”hit” on behalf of all creatives but thinks he is attacked unfairly as he gives so much to the world.

Speaking to Hot 97fm, he said: ”I’m in my own zone. I can’t walk around trying to defend myself, chime in on everything.

”I fight for the people who see those colors, who understand it, and I take the hit constantly. I have the bravery to take the hit, people to call me names, call wife names, call my daughter …

”We take the hit, but when it’s said and done if you look at the past 10 years, have I contributed more or took away more from the world? From music, from stage design, or just from wearing dope a*s coats at the airport?”

And though he is a regular feature in the media for more than just his music, Kanye insists he actually leads a very ”boring” life.

He said: ”I’m completely boring, actually. I don’t want to kill the blogs and media stakeout and stuff, but I’m so boring. All I do is go to the studio everyday.”

The ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker is ready to take a break from the spotlight to focus on his family and ”recharge” before he makes new music.

He said: ”I gotta focus on the kids, I gotta take them to tap class and all types of gym class.

”I really wanna go away, like I been doing a lot of features, right now I just want to take some time to focus on my album, my next collection and North’s birthday.

”Just focus on my family and then be able to recharge and reenergize and bring something of value.”

North West baptized

North West has been baptized in Jerusalem.

The 21-month-old tot was welcomed into the Christian faith at the St. James Cathedral in the Armenian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem yesterday (04.13.15), with her parents Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West by her side, while her aunt Khloe Kardashian was named as her godmother.

In keeping with common practice when there isn’t a godfather, the priest took that role, E! News reports.

After the ceremony, which a source described as ”so special”, the family exited the church at around 6.30pm and enjoyed an ”intimate” dinner with Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat at Mona Restaurant.

The evening was a particular hit with Kanye, who ”loved” the food and was happy to try as many different dishes as possible, and spent the evening chatting with the mayor about Israel and some of the beautiful and historic things to do there.

North was described as being in ”great spirits” but ”a bit restless” after a long day.

The group were up early this morning (04.14.15) to take in a special sightseeing trip in the city – which is sacred to the Christian, Jewish and Islamic faiths – at the site of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion.

Kim tweeted: ”Good morning Jerusalem! We woke up really early to see the site where the crucifixion of Jesus Christ took place.”

The group are expected to continue their trip – which began in Armenia – by travelling to Jordan later today.

Kim Kardashian West greeted by cheering crowds in Armenia

Kim Kardashian West has started her ”journey of a lifetime” in the birthplace of her ancestors, Armenia.

The 34-year-old beauty – who arrived in the mountainous European country alongside her husband Kanye West, their 22-month-old daughter North, sister Khloe Kardashian and other family members – was greeted by a huge crowd of people at Zvartnots International Airport, which included women wearing traditional Armenian dress offering bread and salt.

On her arrival in the country, Kim tweeted: ”Armenia we are here! We’re so grateful to be here & start this journey of a lifetime! Thank u everyone who greeted us (sic)”

Later, she added: ”I can’t wait to explore our country and have some yummy food!”

Kim – whose late father Robert Kardashian was of Armenian-American descent – also said she’s determined to make the most of the cultural experience and ensure that her daughter learns more about her Armenian heritage.

The reality TV star wrote on her Instagram account: ”My husband and daughter came to Armenia as well to see my heritage and learn about my ancestors! My cousins came along too! So excited I can’t sleep.”

Meanwhile, Khloe, 30, thanked the people of Armenia for their warm welcoming.

She wrote on Instagram: ”The love and welcoming to Armenia has been overwhelmingly beautiful!!! I wholeheartedly, can’t believe all of you Angels who are outside our hotel with flowers and smiles. Im incredibly eager to get some sleep and see Armenia in the day light! I hope I’m able to sleep. I’m so excited to be here!! (sic)”

Kim admitted: ”The doctors said he thinks I’m having sex too much. He said one time is more powerful…so we’ve tried everything.”

The 34-year-old beauty is baffled as to why she hasn’t conceived yet and has decided to stop following the rules in a fresh attempt to get pregnant.

She told E! News: ”I’ve done everything so perfect to try and get pregnant. There’s a list of things you shouldn’t be doing and I was perfect for eight to 10 months and now I don’t understand.

”I’m going to do everything that I want to do and that includes going platinum. Hopefully I will get pregnant doing all the wrong things. I’m totally changing my tactics.

”I’m over it. I’m over trying, overthinking it, hence why I dyed my hair blonde.”

And Kim is particularly baffled why people who don’t want children seem to conceive so easily.

She joked: ”Literally teenagers on meth get pregnant in two seconds. It’s crazy. When you don’t want to be pregnant, it happens.”

Kim Kardashian West: I’ve been having sex ‘500 times a day’

Kim Kardashian West has been having sex ”500 times a day”.

The 34-year-old star and her husband Kanye West – who have 20-month-old daughter North – are desperately trying for a second baby, but the stunner’s over-the-top detail about their attempts has not gone down too well with her sister Khloe Kardashian.

In a trailer for the new ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ series, Kim is seen lying down on a sofa looking exhausted before saying: ”I’ve been having sex 500 times a day.”

The camera then pans to Khloe who lets out a disgusted ”ohhh” shriek.

The trailer also features Khloe being asked about her ex-boyfriend French Montana, who she was spotted holidaying with in Florida earlier this week.

In response to a question about what happened with French, she says: ”I kicked him out the house.”

Bruce Jenner – who is believed to be in the process of transitioning into a woman – is also seen in the footage speaking to ex-wife Kris Jenner about how he feels their family is divided.

He says: ”Sometimes I feel so separated … the Kardashians over here, the Jenners over here.”

The former couple – who have kids Kendall, 19, Kylie, 17, together and Kris has children, Kourtney, 35, Kim, Khloe 30, and Rob, 27, from her marriage to the late Robert Kardashian – are yet to finalize their divorce.

But Kim and Kanye are anything but divided at the moment and are clearly very keen to have another kid as the pair have mentioned it on several occasions in recent interviews.

Last month, she said: ”Oh, I’m practicing really hard. I try as many times a day I can. Nori, this one is for you. You need a sibling.”

In January, she said: ”We’ve really been trying for another kid. More kids can’t come soon enough! … I’m praying about it. I am not pregnant right now, not that I know of, but no, I’m not. I wish I was. I’m about 15 pounds heavier, but I’m not [pregnant].”

Kanye West gatecrashes bachelorette party

Kanye West gatecrashed a bachelorette party in New Orleans over the weekend.

The ‘Yeezus’ rapper was sat having dinner at French-Creole eatery Galatoire’s in the city with a group of heavyweight names from the high-tech world, including Dropbox founder Drew Houston, when he notice another group sat a few tables away were busy celebrating an upcoming wedding.

The 37-year-old husband of Kim Kardashian West – with whom he has a child, North West – subsequently sent a bottle of Champagne to the bride-to-be and her friends, the New York Post’s Page Six Column reports.

The ladies then made their way towards the table of Kanye and his friends, where the rapper ”wished the bride well and said that getting married was ‘the best thing that’s happened to him”’.

What’s more, Kanye was happy to pose for pictures with the women, some of whom sported eye-catching metallic temporary tattoos.

Onlookers noted that Kanye was ”really nice and soft-spoken”.

This comes shortly after Kanye and his wife sparked controversy at Paris Fashion Week by reportedly showing up 40 minutes late to Lanvin’s runway show.

However, the married couple insisted it was only because they were backstage with the brand’s designer, Alber Elbaz.

Kanye responded to the criticism by saying: ”Don’t boo us. Alber asked to see us. Don’t boo us. We’re not late. We’re not late.”

Kanye West wants to name baby North

Kanye West wants to call his baby North.

The ‘Stronger’ hitmaker and girlfriend Kim Kardashian will welcome their first child into the world in July and the rapper wants to show his sense of humor by naming the tot North West.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kanye’s ego is something else, so he’s quite serious about the title.

"He also has a sense of humor though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It’s half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true."

Meanwhile, pregnant Kim has admitted she has begun to "slow down" following her recent health scare, which saw her briefly hospitalized after falling ill on a flight from Paris to Los Angeles.

She told ‘Extra’: "I got sick. It’s hard when a lot is changing in your body and you get sick and you are travelling and so much is going on. It’s tough.

"[I’m] trying to take it easy on the travelling a little bit. It’s not easy being pregnant, I have to tell you."

However, the 32-year-old beauty isn’t quite ready to give up her high-heeled shoes for more comfortable footwear just yet.

She added: "I’m trying to wear flats a little more. But not now."
