Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux want ‘ocean’ wedding

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are reportedly planning to get married ”by the ocean”.

The couple, who began dating in 2011 and got engaged a year later, are keen to tie the knot in a private beach ceremony abroad in the near future.

Wedding planner Kevin Lee, who organized Jennifer’s first wedding to Brad Pitt in 2000, told RadarOnline.com: ”Jennifer and Justin are getting married right by the ocean, so it will be a beach meets California modern-chic sort of thing. She is going to have it [the wedding] out of the country [US].”

Meanwhile, it is believed the pair will get hitched on Justin’s birthday on August 10 – two years to the day he proposed on his 41st birthday – following ”months of therapy” after their relationship reportedly hit the rocks.

A source said previously: ”After talking honestly, their issues seemed to evaporate. Justin admitted he hated the idea of an over-the-top wedding. Jen’s happily agreed to a low-key do with friends and family. Jen’s thrilled and Justin couldn’t be happier.”

Justin proved his romance with Jennifer, 45, was very much on track last month after he admitted he couldn’t imagine life without his fiancée, and even hopes they’ll still be together after they die.

Asked if he’d be upset about leaving the actress behind if he were to die suddenly, he said: ”That’s who I’d want to bring back. That’s who I’d want to bring with me.”

Leonardo DiCaprio gives 7m for conservation

Leonardo DiCaprio has pledged $7 million for ocean conservation.

The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ actor spoke at the State Department’s Our Ocean Conference in Washington yesterday (06.17.14), to decry ”the Wild West on the high seas” and called for moves to curb ”plundering the ocean and its vital resources” as he vowed to make a hefty donation from his self-titled foundation for ”meaningful conservation projects” over the next two years.

He said: ”[I’m] here as a concerned citizen of this planet who believes this is the most important issue of our time.

”What we need is sustained activism and courageous political leadership. We cannot afford to be bystanders in this pre-apocalyptic scenario.”

The 39-year-old actor went on to speak of his sadness in the changes he has seen to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef in recent years.

He said: ”Since my very first dive in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia 20 years ago to the dive I got to do in the very same location just two years ago, I’ve witnessed environmental devastation firsthand.

”What once had looked like an endless underwater utopia is now riddled with bleached coral reefs and massive dead zones.”

Frank Ocean to press charges against Chris Brown

Frank Ocean wants to press charges against Chris Brown after the pair were involved in a fight on Sunday night (27.01.13).

The ‘Pyramids’ singer plans to take things further with authorities after he was allegedly punched by the 23-year-old ‘Turn Up The Music’ hitmaker, who accused Frank of blocking his car from leaving Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Steve Whitmore, who is dealing with the case, told the New York Post newspaper: "[Frank is] desirous of prosecution. We’ll find out what happened."

Chris fled the scene straight after the apparent incident, while Frank stayed to speak to officers who arrived at the scene.

The ‘Sweet Life’ hitmaker took to Twitter shortly after the brawl to say he was "jumped" by Chris and claims his hand injury may affect his live performance at the Grammy Awards next month.

The Los Angeles Police Department has released a statement relating to their enquiries.

It read: "West Hollywood Station deputies are investigating allegations that Chris Brown assaulted an unnamed victim. Deputies responded to a call of six males fighting at the 7200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood.

"Upon their arrival, deputies talked to witnesses who stated that Chris Brown and the victim were involved in an altercation over a parking space. The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim.

"After a brief fight, the parties were separated. Chris Brown and his entourage left the location prior to the arrival of deputies. The investigation is on-going and investigators will contact Chris Brown at a later time."

Chris is still on probation for beating up his on/off girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and any new charge could affect this.

Aquatic tourism in Biarritz

Located in western France, the seaside tourist town of Biarritz is celebrating the sea with two new ocean-based attractions, reports Routard.

The Cité de l’Océan et du Surf (City of Ocean and Surf) is a new and innovative museum designed to make learning about the oceans fun while also teaching the importance of protecting them. Permanent exhibits feature on how oceans form, the effects of tides and currents, and other mysteries of the Mediterranean.

An existing attraction, the Aquarium du Musée de la Mer (Museum of the Sea Aquarium), has recently undergone renovations and is now doubled in size. With an all-new design, the aquarium has over 7,000 square meters dedicated to sea life. This year’s theme is the Gulf Stream, and guests can visit with seals, tropical fish and sharks, among other species.

While in the region, be sure to check out some of the other unique attractions, such as the Museum of Chocolate and St. Martin’s Church, a 12th century house of worship that was renovated in the 16th century.
