Shoppers Drug Mart’s  Bonus Redemption has arrived with up to $300 in savings.

To redeem offers, shoppers must have a PC Optimum membership which redeems points for amounts of discounts in-store and online as shown below:

  • Up to $65 off when you redeem 50,000 PC Optimum Points
  • Up to $140 off when you redeem 100,000 PC Optimum Points
  • Up to $300 off when you redeem 200,000 PC Optimum Points

There are also extra value amounts ranging through their tier system below:

Tier #1: Get $15 in extra value (15,000 PC Optimum points) when you redeem 50,000 – 90,000 PC Optimum points

Get $300 for 200k points during Shoppers Drug Mart bonus points event

Shoppers Drug Mart is back with another ‘Bonus Redemption Event‘ until March 2nd.

The event effectively offers bonus points when you redeem certain amounts of PC Optimum points on purchases, resulting in an extra discount. The three tiers of bonus points are as follows:

  • Redeem 50,000 points for up to $65 off (normally $50 off)
  • Redeem 100,000 points for up to $140 off (normally $100 off)
  • Redeem 200,000 points for up to $300 off (normally $200 off)

Ultimately, that means you get more if you redeem more points. Plus, it’s worth noting that Shoppers sells various electronics — for example, you could redeem 200,000 points to get $300 off a Nintendo Switch, meaning you just pay $79.99 for the console.

Shoppers’ redemption event runs from February 25th to March 2nd, so if you’re looking to make any big purchases and have a ton of points saved up, now might be the time to use them.

However, there are a few caveats to keep in mind, as highlighted by the deal experts over at RedFlagDeals. First, customers pay taxes on the entire amount of the purchase. Second, customers can’t redeem the points for gift cards. Third, customers can’t use multiple bonus redemptions in one transaction. Finally, customers can’t earn points on the redeemed amount, but can still earn points on the amount leftover.

Those are all good things to keep in mind for anyone planning to take advantage of the bonus redemption event.

Purchase a $100 Apple Gift Card, get $15 back in PC Optimum points

No Frills will go live with its new Apple Gift Card promotion starting tomorrow, January 27th, as first spotted by iPhone in Canada.

According to its weekly flyer for January 27th – February 2nd, you can get 15,000 PC Optimum points for every $100 spent on an Apple Gift Card. 15,000 PC points equals $15, so essentially, you’re getting a $100 Apple Gift Card for $75.

The same promotion is also applicable for PlayStation Store, Google Play, Uber Eats, DoorDash and The Keg gift cards with a $500 limit for Apple and Google Play gift cards.

The offer is available in-store only and can not be combined with a different gift card promotion.

Shoppers Drug Mart is back with its 20x PC Optimum Points promotion

Shoppers Drug Mart is again offering a single-use 20x point coupon until November 7th that gets you 20 times the usual amount of points on anything you buy.

On a typical day, you would earn 15 points for every $1 spent. With the 20x coupon applied, every $1 spent will net you 300 PC Optimum points.

To get the 20x coupon, open your Shoppers Drug Mart or PC Optimum app. You can also access the voucher by clicking “load offer” in your weekly Shoppers email.

It’s worth noting that you need to spend a minimum of $75 to be eligible for the 20x multiplier.

Shoppers offering 50,000 Optimum points on $150+ online purchases today only

Shoppers Drug Mart is back again with another limited-time PC Optimum points offer. Today only, you can get 50,000 bonus points when spending $150 or more online at Shoppers Drug Mart.

50,000 Optimum points have a value of about $50 when redeemed at participating locations, which effectively makes this a ‘spend $150 and get $50 back’ offer.

While the deal is, unfortunately, only available on November 3rd, it’s worth noting that Shoppers often does bonus Optimum point offers like this. Just a few days ago the retailer gave away 40,000 points on purchases of $125 or more. In other words, if you miss this round of points there will probably be another points deal soon.

As Canada’s resident video game deals expert ‘Lbabinz‘ points out, the Shoppers Optimum points offer is particularly good because it works on games, consoles and other accessories. That means you can buy $150 in games and gaming accessories and get 50,000 points to redeem on future game purchases.

Spend $50 on a PlayStation Store Gift Card, get $7.50 in PC Points back

You can get 7,500 PC Optimum Points for buying a $50 PlayStation Store Gift Card, effectively cutting the cost of the gift card down to $42.50.

Shared by RedFlagDeals user ‘ryan0462,’ who discovered the promotion on the PC Optimum app, the screenshot states the offer is exclusively available in Your Independent Grocer only.

Further, the screenshot states that the “offer applies to every $50 spent on PlayStation gift cards per transaction,” implying that there is no limit, and you can claim 7,500 points for every $50 PlayStation Store gift card that you purchase.

While the post states that it is an exclusive Independent promotion, users have commented under ‘ryan0462’s’ post that they have the same offer available at No Frills, Loblaws and Valu-Mart. If I were to guess, the offer is available across all President’s Choice retail banners, including Shoppers Drug Mart.

It’s worth noting that the promotion is valid in-store only until September 22nd.

Spend your PC Points during Shoppers’ upcoming Bonus Redemption Event

Shoppers Drug Mart will be running its ‘Bonus Redemption Event,’ starting September 17th to 22nd, as shared by RedFlagDeals user ‘hill15.’

During Bonus Redemption Event, redeeming 50,000 PC Optimum points will net you $65, equivalent to 65,000 points, whereas, on a normal day, redeeming 50,000 points account for $50.

Similarly, redeeming 100,000 points will net you $140 in value, and 200,000 points will be equivalent to $300.
