Who would have guessed after waking up today that we’d learn that globe-trotting superstar actor Timothée Chalamet is a nerd?
Some might say that he “was” a nerd but here at MobileSyrup we know that once you’re a nerd, you’re always a nerd. Just look at Henry Cavill, notable Superman Supernerd, who even uses a Google Pixel and built a PC in an online video.
Now, you might be asking, “I’ve seen Chalamet. He doesn’t look like a nerd to me,” and you’d be right, but you’ve likely only seen the new, famous Chalamet. Internet sleuths and investigative journalists have discovered that during his early days, a young Timothée had a short-lived YouTube channel where he showed off his custom Xbox 360 controllers.
As you can see in this video, he’s also wearing an argyle sweater which, as we all know, screams ‘nerd,’ so I’ll rest my case. If you want to see the other two videos, he uploaded you can check them out here.
Chalamet can currently be seen in theatres in two movies — Dune, from Canada’s own Denis Villeneuve, and Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch.

Ryan Reynolds has been crowned PEOPLE’s Sexiest Dad Alive.
The ‘Deadpool’ star, who has 13-month-old daughter James with wife Blake Lively, had his award recognised on Tuesday night’s (02.09.16) ‘Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’, and the first-time father admitted he was shocked to have been awarded the title.
While Jimmy showed Ryan the magazine’s cover with his face on it, the hunk joked: ”What?! I mean come on! I mean scientifically speaking, what’s sexier than a man that fornicates, produces children and then looks surprised about it.”
Ryan revealed his daughter is now ”walking and talking”, and told fans his family is ”doing great”.
The 39-year-old actor – who has three older brothers – admitted to the publication that he was really keen to have a daughter because he feels comfortable ”being surrounded by estrogen”.
He said: ”Having a daughter was a dream come true for me, I would have made a terrible king.
”I never admitted it out loud, to myself or my wife, but I really wanted a little girl. It’s the best.
”I don’t have to prepare to be wrapped around my daughter’s finger, I have been wrapped around her little finger since the day she plopped out into this world.”
Ryan recently defended the name of his little one, insisting James – the name of his late father – is not a ”weird” moniker for a baby girl.
He said: ”We named her after my father
”In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I feel like we’re not really breaking any new ground here.
”It’s not like Summer Squash Meadow Lark, or something. I also thought of all the letters being silent in her name, so it would be just be ‘haaaa’.”

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star gave a frank cover interview to PEOPLE magazine where she made comments about her relationship with estranged husband Lamar Odom, who is currently recovering in hospital after a four-day binge, and has slammed those who ”think the worst of [her]”.
She wrote on Twitter: ”I want to make this VERY clear…. My people cover, I shot and interviewed for PRIOR to all the events that happened.
”It was contracted press for my book that I wrote months and months ago. Timing is what it is.
”Shame on you all for thinking the worst of me. It’s been a tough few weeks. I don’t need your f***ed up energy! (sic)”
The 31-year-old television personality went on to insist she has done all she can to ”avoid this attention” as Lamar recovers.
She continued: ”Know the facts before you throw stones. I had to do a follow up 5 minute phoner after the events only because I was contracted to. I cancelled my book tour to avoid this attention.

During the interview, she told the magazine there were more ”important things” to focus on than them being a couple.

The Maroon 5 frontman beat off stiff competition from the likes of ‘Luther’ actor Idris Elba, singer Justin Timberlake and retired soccer star David Beckham to the prestigious title, as well as more unusual entries including chat show host Jimmy Fallon.
On Tuesday night’s (11.19.13) episode of ‘The Voice’, host Carson Daly announced Adam’s big win to the studio audience, much to the singer’s embarrassment.
Carson was quick to take a dig at Adam’s fellow coach Blake Shelton, joking that he missed out on the title this year, while Blake engulfed the ‘Payphone’ hitmaker in a big hug and told him he is ”beautiful for what’s on the inside”.
Adam – who takes the title from 2012’s winner Channing Tatum – told People magazine: ”As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table. I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool.”
The 34-year-old hunk also confessed he was looking forward to settling down with his fiancée, Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, after popping the question in July.
He said: ”I didn’t think marriage was for me for a long time. I was ready when I was ready. That’s about as simple as it could possibly be.”
The handsome star admits to practicing yoga and spinning to stay fit and focused as his career continues to evolve, recently branching out from music into fashion design and acting.
Adam added in his winner’s interview: ”This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction. And I’m not taking any of it for granted.”
The 37 year-old actor seems to be both suprised and flattered to top the list created by the magazine, which goes on sale tomorrow (November 16).
Damon told People, "You gave an aging suburban dad the ego boost of a lifetime. My 9-year-old stepdaughter now thinks I’m cool — well, cooler."
According to the wife of the Bourne Identity star, Luciana Bozan, Damon blushed when he learned the news. Damon added, "I was very shocked and happy (Lucy said I actually blushed) when I heard the news. So I can’t thank you enough for that."
The magazine has published a list of the sexiest men each year since 1985, and has named Mel Gibson, George Clooney (1997 and 2006), Brad Pitt (1995 and 2000), Denzel Washington and Johnny Depp, among others, at the top of that list.
