Pokémon Unite’s Halloween event runs from October 20 to November 7

Pokémon Unite is getting a little spookier thanks to a new Halloween event running from October 20th to November 7th.

The Festival will offer several cool costumes for you and your Pokémon, as well as what looks to be a possible additional game mode and new playable Pocket Monster, Greedent.

Additionally, the ‘Remoat Island’ stage will gain a new nighttime overlay that includes pumpkins and other spooky decorations.

Check out the trailer for the event above.

Here’s how to connect your Nintendo Switch ‘Pokemon Unite’ account to mobile

Though Pokémon Unite is now available on Android and iOS, it’s been playable on the Nintendo Switch for a couple of months now.

If you’re like me, you’ve already played this multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) on your mobile device, but now you’re thinking about taking the experience to your smartphone.

Unlike several other games, Pokémon Unite allows you to crossplay between Android, iOS and the Nintendo Switch, and even further, you’re also able to link your accounts.

Here’s how to do it:

When you first log onto the mobile version of Pokémon Unite, the game will ask you for your language preference and then your birthday.

After that, Pokémon Unite asks you to connect your Google account, Facebook, Pokémon Trainer Club, Nintendo Account, or create a new account.

For me, I used the Nintendo Account and entered my username and password.

Following that, the game kicked me out, which I’m not sure will happen for everyone. However, when I logged back in, I had full access to my Pokémon, items and clothing.

It’s a pretty straightforward process for anyone looking to combine accounts.

The new update also includes a battle pass that features a space theme, with the top reward being a new ‘Galatic Ghost 094’ skin for Gengar.

Pokémon Unite is now available on Android and iOS

Pokémon Unite is now available on iOS and Android, and it’s coming with a new update.

The new update includes:

  • Full cross-platform play and account linking across mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. Link an account, and play with the same account across both platforms.
  • New in-game events in which you can get super item enhancers that can upgrade a held item to grade 30. We’ve also made it easier for all Trainers to get item enhancers.
  • New held items to introduce fresh strategies.
  • The introduction of Unite squads, allowing Trainers to team up with squadmates.
  • A second battle pass, which will feature all-new cosmetic items, including new Holowear with special visual effects.
  • The rollout of some limited Spectator Mode features.
  • Support for multiple new languages.

The new battle pass has a space theme  with the top reward being a new ‘Galatic Ghost 094’ skin for Gengar and a lot more.

It also appears Sylveon and Mamoswine will also be coming with the update.
