Perrie Edwards having ‘absolute blast’ following split

Perrie Edwards is ”having an absolute blast” after splitting from Zayn Malik.

The former One Direction hunk dumped the Little Mix star last month after four years together, but the 22-year-old beauty has insisted she’s staying positive thanks to her bandmates Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Asked about life following the split, she said: ”Do you know what? I’m good. I’m having an absolute blast in America, things are going so well, and I just wake up every day and I thank my lucky stars I have these three girls.”

Despite Perrie’s heartache, the band have been in the US promoting their new single ‘Black Magic’ and were invited to join Taylor Swift on stage at her show in Santa Clara, California over the weekend, which they described as an ”incredible” experience.

Leigh-Anne gushed: ”It was incredible. Do you know what? She is the most loveliest person ever, she’s so lovely.”

And the girls revealed they were particularly excited about the surprise appearance at the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker’s concert, because she chartered a private jet just for them so they were able to hang out and have a ”girly chat”.

Speaking on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’, she added: ”We flew back with her on the way back and it was so nice, we had a girly chat and it was wicked, she’s so business-minded.”

Ben Stiller: I’m lucky to have known Robin Williams

Ben Stiller feels ”lucky” to have got to spend time with the late Robin Williams while making the ‘Night At The Museum’ films.

The 49-year-old actor stars alongside Williams in the latest installment in the trilogy, ‘Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb’, and he will forever be grateful to have got to know his idol over the last few years.

Stiller insists he was ”excited” every time he got to work with Williams – who tragically committed suicide in August at the age of 63 – on the franchise and never took it ”for granted”.

When asked how Williams’ passing affects his opinion of the new movie, Stiller said: ”I don’t how it affects how I look at the film, but, for me, I never took it for granted to be able to work with Robin because I was always a huge fan of his. Growing up he was one of my comedic idols and this was the only chance I ever had to work with him. So every time we got to work together on these movies I was always excited … I feel really lucky to have had that opportunity and to have got to spend time with him and to be in the movies with him. It’s great that the movies exist but for me it’s the experience that I will take away.”

Even though Stiller starred with Williams on three occasions he always felt in awe when he was sharing lines with the comedy legend, despite Williams’ efforts to put everyone on set at ease.

Speaking at a press conference in London on Monday (12.15.14), Stiller told BANG Showbiz: ”He was very generous and kind and would make everybody feel like an equal. It was great to be around him and have him treat you that way that but in reality, for me, under the surface I was always really just a fan.”

Stiller reprises his role as museum night guard Larry Daley in the film – which is released on December 19 – and it also stars Owen Wilson, Sir Ben Kingsley, Rebel Wilson, Dan Stevens and Ricky Gervais among others.

‘Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb’ is one of the last movies Williams made before his passing and features a tribute to him and late actor Mickey Rooney, who makes a brief appearance, in the end credits, accompanied by the words ”the magic never ends”.

Taylor Swift’s non-existent birthday plans

Taylor Swift doesn’t have any plans for her 25th birthday.

The ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker – who will be celebrating on December 13th – has admitted that she’s been so busy promoting her album, ‘1989’, that she hasn’t had time to think about what to do.

Speaking on ‘Live With Kelly and Michael’, she said: ”It’s kind of weird, like, when you’re so excited about something, like, I was so geared up for the album launch and so excited about it. It was two years in the making.

”So, in my mind, I was like, ‘Birthdays happen every year, like, album launches only happen every few years,’ so I went and did that and I’m still on this promotion tour. And so, it’s so far back on my list of priorities that I’m turning 25.”

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old singer recently admitted that her goal for ‘1989’ was for it to reflect her life more.

She explained previously: ”That was a huge goal for this album, [which] was to make songs that were instantly catchy. [And] also have meaning behind them.

”But I really wanted these songs to really kind of bounce out of the speakers … For my own albums, it’s all autobiographical because I think it’s much more interesting for me to tell a true story than a story I kind of conjured up.”
