Public Mobile’s latest flash sale offers customers an extra 2GB per month for the next year.

This promotion is only available for new customers that grab any plan that costs $25 or more. To use the promotion online you’ll need the promo code: ’12MONTHS2GB.’

This promotion ends on March 14th. If you want to redeem this offer online, you’ll need to order a SIM Card between now and March 14th and then activate it by March 25th.

It’s worth noting that Public Mobile SIM Cards are 50 percent off right now.

Public Mobile resumes its 2GB bonus data flash sale

Telus-owned Public Mobile is currently offering 2GB bonus data per month for the next 12 months as part of its flash sale.

The promotion is only available to new users who sign up for a $25+ Public Mobile Plan.

$25+ plans include:

  • $25 plan with 500MB data, unlimited Canada-wide minutes, unlimited international texting and picture messaging
  • $35 plan with 2.5GB data, unlimited Canada-wide minutes, unlimited international texting and picture messaging
  • $40 plan with 4.5GB data, unlimited Canada-wide minutes, unlimited international texting and picture messaging
  • $50 plan with 10GB data, unlimited Canada-wide and U.S. minutes, unlimited international texting and picture messaging
  • $60 plan with 15GB data, unlimited Canada-wide and U.S. minutes, unlimited international texting and picture messaging
  • $70 plan with 20GB data, unlimited Canada-wide and U.S. minutes, unlimited international texting and picture messaging

To claim the promotion, you need to sign up for any of the above-mentioned plans using the promo code ‘12MONTHS2GB,’ and you’ll get an additional 2GB of data, on top of the data already available with the plan every month.

The bonus data will stick on the account until users change their rate plan. The data will also expire on accounts that become inactive.

Public warns that it can take up to two business days for bonus data to apply, and notes that promo isn’t stackable with other offers.

Public Mobile’s website doesn’t state till when the promotion is active, though a customer service agent from the company stated the promotion is good until February 18th. The agent also said that “if you pre-register your email address here, and make sure to activate using the same pre-registered email, you can get the promo benefits even if you activate the plan after February 18th.”

Public Mobile’s new point program rewards you for engaging in the Public Mobile Community

Telus-owned Public Mobile has gone live with its new reward program called Public Points, allowing users to earn points that can be used to lower their overall bill for add-ons and to enter contests.

Here’s a breakdown of how you can earn Public Points:

  1. Welcome Present: You can earn 5 Public Points as soon as you join the rewards program.
  2. Points Back: You can earn back 5 percent of whatever you spend on your bill back in Public Points.
  3. Anniversary Points: For every 12 months you spend with Public Mobile, you’ll receive 10 points.
  4. Give Back: Earn up to 20 points every 30 days by engaging in the Public Mobile Community.
  5. Refer-a-Friend: You can earn one Public Point for every 30 days if the person you refer stays with Public Mobile.

Here’s a breakdown of where and how you can spend your Public Points:

  1. Lower your bill: You can spend 15 points to claim $15 off your bill
  2. Add some extras: You can spend points to claim add-ons like extra long-distance minutes and additional data.
  3. Jackpot: You can spend 1 point to enter Public Mobile’s contests for a chance to win prizes.

It’s worth noting that new Public Mobile users (those who activate a line after January 25th) will be automatically added to the new Public Points rewards system. For existing customers, you can either choose to stick with Public’s old reward program, or switch to the new one by heading to the “My Rewards” section and clicking “Join Public Points.”

Telus flanker brand Public Mobile has gone live with its Lunar New Year promotion, which offers new customers 2GB of additional bonus data every month for eight months.

The only requirement is that you need to be a new customer enrolled in any one of Public Mobile’s $25+ plans.

To claim the offer, head to Public Mobile’s website and submit your email on the homepage before February 2nd. Expect to receive an email from Public Mobile containing a promo code in the next few days. Activate a new $25+ plan line with the promo code, and the bonus data will be applied to your account within two business days.

Public Mobile to revamp its online customer forum

Public Mobile is making changes to its online forum.

Called “Community,” it’s a place where Public Mobile customers can ask questions to fellow users online.

Details on what the changes entail are sparse but there are a couple of timelines to keep in mind.

The changes will happen between January 4th and 7th. The company warns users may experience “odd updates” during this time, but the changes are all in anticipation of the big reveal.

Customers won’t be able to sign into their Community accounts or submit a ticket for assistance between 12am and 9:30am ET on January 4th.

All emails and real-time notifications coming from the forum will be disabled between January 4th and 7th. Customers who reached out to a customer support agent will receive an SMS over the usual email.

Customers who need to submit a ticket but are unable to receive an SMS can provide the company with a temporary number or check their private messages periodically.

The organization will make an announcement when the new forum is ready to be used.

Public Mobile’s holiday deal gifts new subs 2GB forever, existing subs get it once

Public Mobile is offering a few bonus offers and festive discounts to celebrate the holiday season.

While the company has been running a free bonus data promo for the month under its ‘More is Merrier’ tagline, it’s now added a flash sale that lasts until December 23rd for new users. If you switch to Public Mobile before the end of the deal, the carrier is offering an extra free 2GB of data for as long as you’re a subscriber.

The catch is that this only applies to plans that start at $35 or more. However, this does mean that you can get 4.5GB of data for $35 a month as long as you don’t mind being throttled down to 3G speeds.

The promotion, which offers 2GB of free data along with 500 minutes of international calling required you to reply with a ‘YES’ to a Public Mobile text messages.

Now, according to RedFlagDeals user ‘Dailen,’ users have started receiving the text messages.

The offer is available for new and existing customers. If you are an existing customer, expect to receive a text message from Public Mobile, similar to the one in the image above before December 31st. Reply with a ‘YES’ to the message and the promotions will be automatically applied to your account.

If you’re a new customer, activate a Public Mobile SIM card before December 31st, and the promotions will be automatically added to your account.

Public Mobile is offering free data as part of its Black Friday deals.

Customers who switch to Public Mobile will get 2GB of data free every month if they activate any monthly plans worth $35 or more and use the promo code 2GBBONUS.

All plans include call display, voicemail, and conference calling.

The cheapest plan to activate the offer is $35/mo. It offers 2.5GB of data at 3G speed and a bonus 500MB if the customer signs up for autopay. Unlimited Canada-wide minutes and international messaging (with text and pictures) are also included.

Public Mobile offering 2GB of bonus monthly data to new customers

Public Mobile is now offering a switch-over bonus.

You can get 2GB of monthly bonus data when you activate a $35 per month plan when you use the ‘2GBBonus’ promo code.

“Activate today on any plan $35/mo+ using the promo code 2GBBONUS. Bonus data will be applied for as long as you’re with us,” the offer reads.

To get the deal, you’ll need to submit your email address on Public Mobile’s website. The carrier will then email the code to you.

The offer is only available to new customers who activate online, and it’s worth pointing out that the bonus data will expire if the account becomes inactive or if the plan changes.

The bonus data might take up to two business days to get applied, and the promotion isn’t stackable.

This isn’t the first time Public Mobile has offered this deal, as the company released the same promotion this past June.
