Even in prison, Alexei Navalny urges Russians to protest!

Alexei Navalny has called on Russians to show their disapproval of President Vladimir Putin… even though the notorious Russian opposition leader is currently in prison!

Putin’s expected victory, which will mark his fifth presidential term, has been widely anticipated due to his tight control over the country’s political scene. The risks of dissent are greatly reduced in a climate of political repression, where most opposition leaders are in prison or exile and independent media are largely suppressed. The integrity of the elections is also in doubt, as they will take place over three days, from March 15 to 17, and will include online voting.

This makes independent monitoring much more difficult.

Navalny, his team and others continue to be active in politics despite these obstacles, encouraging voters to choose someone other than Putin.

Navalny says the protest is a good way to show disapproval of Putin, and that the authorities would find it hard to stop a well-organized mass action.

Navalny’s transfer to Russia’s most secure prison above the Arctic Circle is a perfect example of the cost of Navalny’s opposition. Navalny is currently serving a 19-year sentence for charges he believes to be politically motivated.

He spent several months isolated in a penal colony in the Vladimir region.

That’s not going to help him convince others to oppose Putin…

Did Putin have a heart attack?

And was a double of Putin used during official meetings?

Rumors that Russian President Vladimir Putin suffered a heart attack last weekend have prompted Kremlin officials to comment publicly and deny the allegations, calling them hoaxes.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin is healthy and does not use body doubles for public appearances,” a representative of the Russian President was reportedly forced to respond.

According to Forbes, former members of Russia’s foreign intelligence services allegedly claimed on Telegram earlier this week that a double of Putin had been used for a telephone conversation with Brazilian President Lula Da Silva, while the real Putin is said to be in a very serious state of health and is being treated in an intensive care unit set up in his residence.

According to rumors, the Russian president suffered a cardiac arrest in his private residence in Moscow last Sunday evening, and has been on the verge of death ever since.

The Kremlin has since been accused of using a Putin look-alike… again!

“This belongs to the category of absurd information hoaxes that a whole series of media discuss with enviable tenacity,” the Kremlin representative is said to have added.

Questions about Putin’s state of health have weighed on the Russian president for some time now, including rumors earlier this year that he had received chemotherapy treatments to treat cancer.

The bizarre images of Kim Jong-Un in Russia stun the world

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un traveled by train to Russia to meet Vladimir Putin.

It was the first meeting between the two in four years.

A visit that raised a few eyebrows… and set off passions quickly when the news was confirmed, with CNN switching from its nightly standby mode to live coverage early last night to analyze the doings of the two tyrants.

There are many questions about what’s next for these two ostracized nations, but two facts are clear.

Kim Jong-Un is looking for international friendship and support wherever he can find it, and Vladimir Putin seems determined to give it to him… because he needs weapons to continue his invasion of Ukraine, which almost nobody else in the world supports.

Is Vladimir Putin a “dead man walking”?

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly been living on borrowed time since the death of Wagner band leader Yevgeny Prigozhin on August 23, Radar Online reports.

According to at least one known source, Professor Anthony Glees, political scientist and Director of European Studies at Brunel University, Wagner’s troops are seeking revenge for the death of their leader, and Putin should be “very careful” on future trips.

This warning is particularly valid for Putin’s visit to China next October, he believes.

“His presidential jet could be shot down over the steppes of eastern Russia by Wagner group members who may have access to a Buk missile system amongst their arsenal,” Glees explains first.

“He’s a dead man walking,” concludes the professor.

On August 23, a plane suddenly crashed in northern Russia with the leader of the Wagner military group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, on board.

Shortly before his death, the leader of the mercenary group had helped the Russians advance into Ukraine since the start of the invasion, then organized a full-scale rebellion against the Kremlin, claiming that Russian troops were targeting the mercenaries. Yevgeny Prigozhin decided to turn back when he entered Moscow, citing an agreement reached between him and Vladimir Putin, a deal brokered by the Belarusian president, while many experts claimed that Prigozhin’s hours were now numbered!

And indeed, his presumed death is widely considered by observers to have been at Putin’s direction… as well as according to Prigozhin’s troops, who could now seek revenge for the alleged murder of their leader.
