FKA Twigs wears her ‘soul’ on her face

FKA Twigs wears her "soul" on her face.

The 29-year-old singer – who is engaged to ‘Twilight’ actor Robert Pattinson – took to Twitter on Thursday (07.06.17) to post a series of messages in which she described her profile as a map to her emotions and told her 266,000 followers that she hasn’t been able to hide her emotions since she was an 11-year-old child.

She wrote: "When I was 11 I started to wear my life on my face, I vividly remember the day I put it on. (sic)"

Her comment left her followers scratching their heads and a fan with the handle @Ireon mistook her tweet as a line in a song yet to be released.

They asked: "Are these lyrics to a song we wont hear for another 3 years?(sic)"

The singer – who is rarely pictured smiling – replied and admitted she was feeling "worn down", saying: "Nah i just woke up looking worn down but high priestess warrior af (sic)"

Another fan simply asked, "what does this mean?" prompting FKA to tweet back: "It means whatever my soul feels my face tells. (sic)"

It’s not the first time that the singer has used the social media site to ponder about the ways of the world.

FKA Twigs – whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett – recently told her fans that she feels like she is a "unicorn".

Presumably talking about the pitfalls of fame, she mused: "We’re like unicorns, they want to pet us but they don’t want us to be happy (sic)"

Despite her questionable topics, she doesn’t condone insults or judgment online.

The ‘Good To Love’ singer recently signed off a chat with fans: "ok lah you, i have to go sleep. good to catch up, until next time. look after each other init and play nice on the Internet. (sic)"

Robert Pattinson faked accent

Robert Pattinson faked his accent at auditions.

The ‘Remember Me’ star has revealed how he would adopt an American accent when he went to audition for certain films rather than his British accent as he didn’t want people to know he was born in the UK as he felt it stopped him getting particular roles.

During a panel at Cannes Film Festival, director Josh Safdie – who is at the helm of Robert’s new film ‘Good Time’ – said: "You were telling me that story about how you’d go to auditions with your Denver accent, because you just did not want anyone to know that you were British-born."

To which Robert further explained: "I would do an impression. I would have another character to go to an audition to play a different character."

It comes after Robert admitted he is a "manic" person.

Speaking about his role in ‘Good Time’, he revealed: "I don’t know how much of it was really me other than being really manic. No one really sees that. That’s a private thing. I’m someone who just stops at a red light and I’m just revving …

"Because we were shooting guerrilla style, I was so nervous [about] people finding out about the shoot and paparazzi being there. It destroys the illusion of it. What I was doing as a person was feeding into the character, trying to disappear, trying to be a ghost in the crowd."

Robert and the make-up team also experimented with a set of different looks beforehand and decided that adding some fake scars to his flesh would put fans off track.

He added: "We experimented with a few different things. You’ve got these pock marks in the skin and no one recognises you. We shot the movie on the streets of New York, and no one took a cell phone photo."

Robert Pattinson is ‘manic’

Robert Pattinson thinks he’s a "manic" person.

The ‘Twilight’ hunk may have gone to extreme lengths to ensure he was unrecognizable in his role as Constantine ‘Connie’ Nikas in the new crime-drama film ‘Good Time’, in which his alter ego goes to extreme lengths to get his brother out of jail after a bank robbery goes wrong, but he believes he and his character are very similar in terms of their mental states as he’s always living life balanced on the edge.

Speaking to Variety at the Cannes Film Festival in the South of France, he said of his role: "I don’t know how much of it was really me other than being really manic. No one really sees that. That’s a private thing. I’m someone who just stops at a red light and I’m just revving."

Although he thoroughly enjoyed shooting the film, which also stars Barkhad Abdi and Jennifer Jason Leigh, he was so nervous that people would be able to work out it was him as that would have defeated the "ghost-like" persona he was trying to portray.

He explained: "Because we were shooting guerrilla style, I was so nervous [about] people finding out about the shoot and paparazzi being there.

"It destroys the illusion of it. What I was doing as a person was feeding into the character, trying to disappear, trying to be a ghost in the crowd."

Guy Ritchie taught Charlie Hunnam jiu-jitsu

Guy Ritchie taught Charlie Hunnam jiu-jitsu.

The 36-year-old actor worked with the director on the upcoming adventure movie ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’ and has said the 48-year-old filmmaker taught him the basics of the Japanese martial art whilst on set for the feature.

Charlie said during an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ on Wednesday (05.04.17): "I did a film with Guy Ritchie about 18 months ago, who is a black belt in jiu-jitsu so I got into doing a little bit of jiu-jits with ol’ Ritchie. That’s right my friend."

And when show host James Corden asked ‘Pacific Rim’ actor if he decided to take up the fighting style just because Guy had, Charlie admitted the pair had a "roll around" on set.

He added: "Yeah. He likes to stay active on set and you know, just keep things fun, so we’d have ourselves a little roll around."

Despite getting on so well with the filmmaker, Charlie recently admitted it isn’t easy for him to bond with everyone on set as during filming for the recently released action movie ‘The Lost City of Z’, he felt "a real distance" between him and his co-star Robert Pattinson.

Charlie said: "I had a couple of rehearsal sessions with Sienna [Miller], but I didn’t spend any time with Tom [Holland] or Robert.

"I wanted these relationships to evolve naturally on screen. Through the work, I don’t think I said more than ten words to Robert off camera. I didn’t know if he was just ‘in that zone’ or if he genuinely didn’t like me. There was a real distance between us."

Although he was concerned Robert, 30, wouldn’t like him, the ‘Sons of Anarchy’ actor admits the cold attitude helped create "the right dynamic on screen" between Rob’s Henry Costin and Charlie’s Percy Fawcett.

And now that filming has long since wrapped on the production, Charlie says things are looking up for their friendship.

He added: "He’s reached out to me subsequently, making overtures for us to be friends now so I think it was about the work."

Charlie Hunnam: There was a ‘real distance’ between me and Robert Pattinson

Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson didn’t hit it off when they first met.

The 36-year-old actor and the ‘Twilight’ star feature together on the recently released action movie ‘The Lost City of Z’, and Charlie has said there was a "real distance" between the pair off screen as they didn’t take the time to get to know each other.

And now that filming has long since wrapped on the production, Charlie says things are looking up for their friendship.

He added to Screen Daily: "He’s reached out to me subsequently, making overtures for us to be friends now so I think it was about the work."

Meanwhile, Charlie recently admitted he was "filled with panic" when he headed onto the set for the movie, as he only had a few days to prepare after wrapping filming on ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’, in which he plays the titular character.

He said: "King Arthur was incredibly demanding: I was in almost every scene and shooting long hours. By the time we finished shooting, I only had ten days before I started shooting this [‘The Lost City of Z’]. I was filled with panic. I used every second of that time to try and transform myself psychologically and physically because I was muscle bound and in action hero mode."

FKA Twigs believes it’s ‘easy to become an enemy of her own progress’

FKA Twigs thinks it’s "easy to make yourself an enemy of your own progress".

The 28-year-old singer – who staged a series of dance workshops in Baltimore in July – considers herself to be part of a demographic who believe in beauty as well as the power of creativity.

In link posted on her Twitter account, she shared: "I am not the leader of that tribe, I am just lucky enough at the moment to have the facility to be able to call people together.

"I always say it’s easy to make yourself an enemy of your own progress, when your thoughts get into your head.

"I found myself in a position where I can remind people to stand really tall and say you’re incredible."

Twigs – who is engaged to actor Robert Pattinson – revealed why she was particularly keen to stage her dance workshops in the US city of Baltimore, which has recently seen major protests and a dramatic rise in murders.

She shared: "Over the past couple of years, Baltimore has always seemed to be in the news for really sad and tragic things.

"When I was thinking about doing a dance project, the obvious places would be LA or New York but I thought why not go to a place that obviously has so much soul and so much amazing energy? You’ll be able to connect with them rather than being another artist that is passing through."

However, Twigs rubbished the suggestion she was giving back to the community by taking her dance workshops to the city.

She explained: "That idea is so patronising. Baltimore is way bigger than I am and will ever be.

"The legend of Baltimore, every single thing it’s been through, every single person who was born there, that left, that came back, that went into the world, that spread their Baltimore energies wherever they went, that is way bigger."

Kristen Stewart was ‘uncomfortable’ with fame as a teenager

Kristen Stewart felt "uncomfortable" having her personal life made public as a teen.

The 26-year-old actress has opened up about being catapulted to fame at the age of 17 when she starred in ‘Twilight’ as the vulnerable Bella Swan – alongside her on-screen and later real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson [Edward Cullen] – and while it was a "weird" experience for her it also taught her how to deal with the pressures of being in the spotlight.

Speaking during her first ever appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, she explained: "It was something I really invested in. It mattered to so many people. Something personal became the most personal thing, which is awesome because to share this is great, but at the same time I was 17 or 18 when it all kind of went down and that’s the most uncomfortable, terrible, weird … You’re 17-years-old and like ahh. But at the same time, it was good. It kind of forced me to stand at attention in this way."

Kristen has been more open to talking about her personal life of late, which she says has been "beneficial" as it means she is able to explain herself and not have people "misconstrue" her.

She recently said: "I think it takes a minute to sort of acclimate to communicating with so many people at one time, with like, ‘The masses,’ you know.

"I think it’s only beneficial, like … for me to have so many pathways open, it ends up kind of not allowing people to misconstrue you."

Kristen is currently dating musician St. Vincent – real name Annie Clark – and recently explained that she has become more willing to discuss her love life ever since she started dating women.

She shared: "I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it,’ so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I’m so much happier."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Madame Tussauds split up

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s wax models have been separated at Madame Tussauds London following the news of their divorce.

The attraction in the UK capital made the decision to split up the couple of 11 years after hearing about the break-up which stunned the world on Tuesday (09.21.16).

‘Twilight’ hunk Robert Pattinson has been placed between them to split the statues up.

A photo of the separated models was uploaded to the official Madame Tussauds Twitter account, along with the caption: "Following the news that has shocked celebrity watchers worldwide, we can confirm we have separated Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s figures."

Angelina, 41, filed divorce papers in a Los Angeles court on Monday (09.19.16) with the documentation revealing the date of separation as September 15, 2016, and that she is seeking primary physical custody of their six children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Brad, 52, released a statement shortly after the news broke admitting he is "very saddened" by the end of his relationship.

Kristen Stewart: Robert Pattinson relationship wasn’t ‘real life’

Kristen Stewart’s relationship with Robert Pattinson became a "product".

The 26-year-old actress dated her ‘Twilight Saga’ co-star for five years but she eventually found their romance – which hit the rocks when she was unfaithful with her ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ director Rupert Sanders – stopped being "real life" and seemed to just be "entertainment" for people.

She said: "People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product. It wasn’t real life anymore. And that was gross to me.

"It’s not that I want to hide who I am or hide anything I’m doing in my life. It’s that I don’t want to become a part of a story for entertainment value."

The ‘Cafe Society’ actress – who is dating Alicia Cargile and previously romanced singer Soko – admitted she is more open about speaking about her personal life these days because she wants to do something "really positive" by discussing same-sex relationships.

She explained to T magazine: "I would never talk about any of my relationships before, but once I started dating girls it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive. I still want to protect my personal life, but I don’t want to seem like I’m protecting the idea, so that does sort of feel like I owe something to people."

And Kristen – who has been with Alicia on and off for three years – is deeply in love with her girlfriend.

Showing the publication’s reporter pictures of the visual effects producer, she exclaimed: "Look how cute she is. I love her so much."

The ‘Equals’ actress admits she has struggled to find a balance between opening up but still being guarded.

She said: "How do you feel like you’re not being stolen from, yet at the same time not guard yourself to the point of depriving yourself of so much goodness in life?"

Kristen had a lot of sleepless nights trying to figure out the answer, but she did learn another lesson.

She explained: "Nothing killed me. I was skinny as hell, I looked crazy, but I was fine. I now have faith in my body to carry on, and that has made me a better actor."

Kristen Stewart confirms romance with Alicia Cargile

Kristen Stewart has confirmed she is dating Alicia Cargile.

The 26-year-old actress – who was previously in a relationship with Robert Pattinson for five years until she cheated on him with married director Rupert Sanders – was first romantically linked with her personal assistant 18 months ago, but she has never directly addressed the speculation until now, admitting she is overjoyed they have recently got back together.

She said: "Right now I’m just really in love with my girlfriend. We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.’ "

The ‘Cafe Society’ actress admitted she is more open about her personal life now she’s in a same-sex relationship and feels much happier that she is being less closed off to people.

She told the new issue of Britain’s Elle magazine: "When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized, so I didn’t like it.

"We were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, ‘That’s mine. You’re making my relationship something that it’s not.’ I didn’t like that.

"But then it changed when I started dating a girl.

"I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I’m so much happier."

The ‘Equals’ star recently insisted she doesn’t want to define her sexuality.

She said: "Me not defining it right now is the whole basis of what I’m about. If you don’t get it, I don’t have time for you. There’s acceptance that’s become really rampant and cool. You don’t have to immediately know how to define yourself.

"I had to have some answer about who I was. I felt this weird

responsibility, because I didn’t want to seem fearful. But nothing seemed appropriate. So I was like, ‘F**k, how do I define that?’ I’m not going to. Plus, I didn’t want to f**k with other people. I didn’t want to be this example: It’s so easy. I don’t want it to seem like it was stupid for them to have a hard time. I find the movement that’s occurring to be so important, that I want to be part of it."
