Chris Rock will adress Will Smith’s slap live on Netflix!

Nearly a year after the infamous Will Smith slap incident at the Oscars, Chris Rock finally seems ready to discuss it publicly…

And according to Page Six, it will happen be his show Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, an event not only presented on Netflix, but also… live!

Recall that the incident in question had occurred while he was hosting the Oscars night. Chris Rock had then launched a joke to Jada Pinkett Smith, comparing her to the character of the film G.I. Jane, because of her shaved hair.

A joke that made Will Smith furious, who went on stage to slap the host live in front of millions of viewers.

Smith later apologized for his actions, but Rock had remained rather quiet since then, apart from a few words in some of his shows, away from the official cameras.

Chris Rock: Selective Outrage will air on Netflix on March 4th at 10pm EST, live from the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore!

Red Table Talk creator Jada Pinkett Smith will share her thoughts in a book, where she will open up about her complicated marriage with the actor Will Smith.

The publisher of Jada’s memoir delivered some informations about her thoughts:

During the interview about the release of her thoughts next fall, Jada Pinkett commented on Will Smith’s slap at the Oscars, repeating that Chris Rock was not ready to talk to the Fresh Prince again…

The Rock produces a docu-series on the history of wrestling

Dwayne Johnson, better known as The Rockwill team up with the creators of Dark Side of the Ring to launch a series of documentaries on the territories of wrestling.

The docu will be called Tales From the Territories and will be presented on Vice TV from October 4th, while it will be produced by The Rock and Dany Garcia (Seven Bucks Productions).

The series will guide us to the heart of a more “savage” and long forgotten period of the struggle.

The production says it will trace the era when the wrestling business was concentrated in small, territory-based organizations, before the explosion of the 1980s that was sparked by cable TV.

The documentary is a product that will showcase the fascinating and complex history of a very popular and polarizing industry.
