Ciara chooses baby name

Ciara and Russell Wilson have chosen their baby name.

The 31-year-old singer – who already has son Future, two, with ex-fiance Future – revealed last month she and her NFL player husband are having a child together, and she has now admitted they know whether they’re expecting a boy or a girl, but she doesn’t want to tell anyone.

She said: "I do know [if it’s a boy or a girl]. I’m not telling, not yet, but I’m very excited."

Asked if they’ve chosen a name, she added: "We’ve already done that actually."

And the ‘Goodies’ singer and Russell, 27, aren’t the only ones excited about the new addition to their family as little Future "can’t wait" to be a big brother.

Ciara told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "He rubs my belly and he says, ‘Hi baby. I love you, baby,’ … and then he puts my shirt down and says, ‘Bye, bye baby.’ So, that’s his own thing.

"He sees a baby walking, smaller than him and walking — it doesn’t matter, it’s a baby. So, he goes, ‘baby’ and he looks at me and he goes, ‘Mama, baby’ – and he tries to pull my sweatshirt up."

After struggling with feeling nauseous in the first few months of her pregnancy, Ciara is thankful to be feeling "really good" now.

Debuting her bump for the first time at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (11.20.16), she said: "I’m feeling really good, the first few months were a bit tough for me.

"Well, not tough, but a bit more like, I didn’t throw up last time and this time I haven’t thrown up but I’ve had that in between feeling where I don’t wanna throw up, I can’t throw up but I’m not normal and that’s even more torture.

"I’m like can we find the rhythm here? What do I eat, what do I drink?

"I’m now in that place where I’m not feeling that feeling and I’m not that tired so it’s good."

Ciara announces pregnancy

Ciara is pregnant.

The ‘Love Sex Magic’ hitmaker and her husband Russell Wilson have announced they are expecting their first child together as they both took to Instagram on Tuesday (10.25.16) – Ciara’s 31st birthday – to share the news with their followers.

Alongside a picture of the couple cuddled up together, the ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love’ singer wrote: "On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family.. and I’m excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give… (sic)"

The caption was finished with a series of emojis, including a baby and a bottle of milk.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old NFL star shared the same picture on his Instagram and wrote: "The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay (sic)"

Whilst the baby is Russell’s first, Ciara is already mother to two-year-old Future Zahir, whom she co-parents with former beau and rapper Future.

And the ‘Goodies’ musician doesn’t need to worry about shedding any post-baby weight either, as she previously admitted she managed to drop the 60 pounds she put on whilst carrying Future Zahir.

She said: "After delivering my son, a 9-lb. 10-oz. baby, and gaining 60 lbs., I was committed to [returning] to how I felt before I had him. Four months after having him, I was back to my original shape. There’s something very empowering about that. Something about that gave me an extra pep in my step, and motivated me even more to go harder."

Although Russell doesn’t have any children of his own yet, he’s had practice for the upcoming bundle of joy now that he’s a stepfather to Future Zahir.

He said previously: "[Ciara] has a little man, he’s awesome and cute as can be, he’s a special kid. I’m a stepdad now. When I see this kid, he’s 2-years-old, he’s so sweet and loving, always has a smile on his face. Being a stepfather, it’s about loving the child because the child can do something amazing in his life."

Ciara’s perfect wedding

Ciara’s wedding was the "most perfect day" of her life.

The ‘Goodies’ hitmaker tied the knot with Seattle Seahawks player Russell Wilson, 27, in the UK in July and the celebration was everything she’d dreamed it would be.

She said: "I definitely can say it was two of the most perfect days in my life. The day before and the day of the actual wedding was a special time.

"When we get married, we only get it once, you can’t repeat it. So, it was like, man, it’s over already?

"It was honestly so beautiful and I really felt like I was in a fairy tale. It was everything I hoped for. Everything I could have hoped for, dreamed of, happened on that day. It was memorable.

"We spent two days with all the people that we love, your family and your close friends. I’m definitely still floating, it’s only three months ago and it’s crazy how time goes by."

Ciara is mother to two-year-old son Future Jr., who she has with former fiance Future, and she credits the youngster for helping her stay "grounded" and motivating her every day.

She told #Legend magazine: "Motherhood, oh my gosh, it’s one of the best jobs in life. My family, my son and my husband, those are the things that keep me grounded and centred and there’s no better feeling than coming back and seeing him smile after a long day.

"You put him in a bath, you put him in bed, read a book, those moments are great to end the day and keeps life in perspective because all your child wants from you is love.

"They don’t care about a lot of the things we care about anyway. Being a mom is part of what motivates me in my every day life."

And the 30-year-old star thinks motherhood has made her more responsible and less of a perfectionist.

She said: "[Motherhood] makes you really understand the definition of being responsible.

"Because now it’s like, every decision I make affects not only my life, but it affects his life.

"And having my child has really propelled me to focus even more on not only what I want personally, and then also as a businesswoman. It really helps you lock things down…

"That pure love, that instant love makes you realise a lot of things don’t matter. You don’t sweat the small stuff as much. Back in the day, before my child, I was such a perfectionist, you can put so much attention on some things but then you realise it really doesn’t matter tomorrow. I can see that now, and focus on things that really matter."

Ciara: Jennifer Lopez is hot

Ciara thinks Jennifer Lopez is "hot".

The ‘I Bet’ singer admits she has a bit of a girl crush on 47-year-old J.Lo because she looks so sexy even as she approaches her 50th birthday.

Ciara isn’t afraid of praising her fellow pop stars and has a lot of love for Rihanna, Beyonce and Andra Day as well as J.Lo.

In an interview with website WWD, she said: "I’ve always been a huge fan of Alicia Keys. I think all of the women are rocking – Beyonce, Rihanna. I love Andra Day. J.Lo, she’s hot. If I could just look as good as that …she’s killing it to me."

In July, Ciara wed Seattle Seahawks NFL player Russell Wilson in the UK starting a new family with her two-year-old son Future, whose father is Ciara’s ex-fiancé, the rapper Future.

At the moment, the R&B beauty feels like "Superwoman" because she is a new wife, is a mother and is working on a new album for her return to music.

She said: "Being a mom is huge for me. Every day I also get so excited waking up to be a wife. Being there for my family. You get to feel what you bring to the table. I think men bring something to the table and we bring something to the table. Also having to run my business. It’s all those things in one … I’m a big dreamer and believer. And it really is about balance. I map out my life as it pertains to personal and my career. I’m committed to all of those things and because of that I designed my world to make sense for all of it. It’s very eventful and I couldn’t see it any other way. I like waking up playing with my little one, feeding him, putting him to bed after I’ve had a long day of work or giving him a bath. There’s something really satisfying about being able to do it all. I feel really empowered. I feel like Superwoman

Ciara and Russell Wilson cancelled wedding twice

Ciara and Russell Wilson cancelled their wedding twice.

The couple exchanged vows in the English countryside at the beginning of June but were initially planning to get hitched in North Carolina but decided to ditch that idea when the controversial ‘bathroom bill’ – a new law which forces people to use the restroom that corresponds with the gender listed on their birth certificate – was brought in there.

The couple’s wedding planner Mindy Weiss explained: "They were first getting married in North Carolina, but they called it off due to the transgender bathroom laws."

The duo then set their hearts on tying the knot in Paris, France, but had no choice but to abandon that idea after they realized it clashed with Paris Fashion Week.

Ms. Weiss told TheKnotNews.com: "They were gonna go to Paris and it ended up being [Couture] Fashion Week. And it was really difficult. We ended up in London.

"They wanted to be away. And we found a castle that was an hour out of Liverpool and they had about 110 guests."

The couple – who first began dating in early 2015 – eventually exchanged vows in Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, North West England, but they were still plagued with bad luck as Ciara’s glamorous wedding dress wouldn’t fit into the beautiful building’s chapel due to the hefty train.

Ms. Weiss explained: "Inside the castle, they had a chapel but it was too small because her dress was 13-feet.

"Her dress in person was so much more spectacular than in the pictures, though in the pictures, they’re beautiful. In person, it was shockingly beautiful."

Meanwhile, the pair – who abstained from having sex until after they were married – are now keen to start a family.

Ciara, 30, already has two-year-old son Future Jr. with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.

Russell Wilson: The best part was watching her walk down the aisle

Russell Wilson’s favourite part of the wedding was "watching" Ciara walk down the aisle.

The 27-year-old Seattle Seahawks American footballer has admitted the "best part" of the marital ceremony, which took place at Peckforton Castle in Liverpool, England on Wednesday (06.07.16), was seeing his wife appear at the altar wearing her wedding gown and train.

Speaking to E! News about the momentous occasion, he said: "To share a special moment and a lifetime with somebody that you truly love and really cares about you is amazing.

"That’s what everybody is searching for. I found that. I was fortunate and blessed to find that and the best part was watching her walk down the aisle.

"Just to see her face and the long train she had. And then Earth, Wind and Fire took the night away."

The couple decided to abstain from having sex until after they wed; however since they tied the knot they are already discussing future plans to have a family.

Russell said: "Down the road, I would obviously [want kids]. She does too and hopefully, god willing, as long as they’re healthy, that’s what we pray for and whether it’s a boy or girl, who knows but we’ve got some time for that."

However, Russell revealed the ‘Goodies’ hitmaker – who already has two-year-old son Future Zahir Wilburn with her former partner Future – wants to concentrate on her music before having a second child.

He explained: "She’s making her music right now and I’m playing my sports and hosting shows so we’re pretty busy."

Meanwhile, the happy couple have been joking about their flourishing sex life now they have tied the knot.

In a Snapchat video, Ciara said: "So, baby, you know what we’re doing tonight."

To which Russell replied: "From what we did last night, I’m gonna do it multiple times."

Ciara and her fiancée Russell Wilson will marry in England

Ciara and her fiancé Russell Wilson are set to marry in England this weekend.

The 30-year-old singer – who announced her engagement to the 27-year-old sportsman in March this year after dating for one year – will tie the knot in Liverpool, North West England, this weekend after heading to the city’s Titanic Hotel on Tuesday (05.07.16) for their rehearsal dinner.

The ‘Goodies’ hitmaker was captured in a white gown with an embroidered halter-neck bodice and tulle chiffon skirt, whilst Russell donned a sleek black tailored suit at the pre-wedding meal with some of their loved ones.

A source told E! News: "The rehearsal dinner was beautiful. Ciara and Russell couldn’t keep their hands off of each other.

"The love was strong in the room. Russell and Ciara said a few words to their guest thanking them for coming to Liverpool for this special occasion. Kelly Rowland and Lala [Vasquez] were helping Ciara before hand get ready and haven’t left her side."

Ciara – who has a two-year-old son Future Jr. with ex-husband Future – and Russell got engaged in March and the couple have previously spoken of their decision not to have sex until they marry because of the Seattle Seahawks player’s Christian beliefs.

Russell previously revealed: "[Ciara] was on tour, and I was looking at her in the mirror, and God spoke to me.

"He said, ‘I need you to lead her.’ I told her, ‘What would you do if we took all that "extra stuff" off the table, and just did it Jesus’ way?’

"I said to her – and she completely agreed – ‘Can we love each other without that?’

"If you can love somebody without that, then you can really love somebody."

And the ‘Like a Boy’ hitmaker thinks it has made the bond between them more "real".

She said: "You know, when Russell talked about it, he was being honest. For what it’s worth I think there are so many people like us.

"We get to share real things. We’re real people.

"I run into different people and they’ll talk to me about their journey and their relationships, so I think that’s been really cool and it’s a healthy thing.

"It’s a healthy conversation we all get to have as adults. I’m not sweating it at all."
