Samuel L. Jackson celebrates birthday in horny jail after liking porn on Twitter

Samuel L. Jackson is one of the biggest movie stars on the planet… From Star Wars and Marvel to Jurassic Park and Pulp Fiction, the man is something of a living legend.

But the internet was reminded this week that at the end of the day, Jackson is still only human.

On Wednesday, December 21st, the third highest-grossing actor of all time was celebrating his 74th birthday as one normally would — by watching porn on Twitter. How do we know? Because screenshots and videos captured Jackson’s public, verified account liking explicit, NSFW videos.

While Jackson has since unliked these posts, people have nonetheless still had some amusing responses:

Some even pointed out that Jackson once admitted to liking anime and manga porn, better known as hentai.

Jackson hasn’t addressed these events on social media, but regardless, it’s quite the funny situation. While it’s possible that someone else running Jackson’s account got a little carried away, it’s undoubtedly more entertaining to imagine him sneaking away from some baller Beverly Hills birthday party look at Twitter porn.

Stars — they’re just like us!

John Boyega slams Samuel L Jackson for creating ‘conflict’ among black actors

John Boyega has slammed Samuel L. Jackson for creating "conflict" between Black British and African American actors.

The 24-year-old star – who grew up in Peckham, London – is furious with the Hollywood legend after he said black men from the UK should not be allowed to play American roles because he thinks they can’t relate to the struggles African Americans have faced.

Boyega rose to fame in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ but earlier in his career, he played a young Los Angeles father who is released from prison in Netflix movie ‘Imperial Dreams’, and disagrees with Jackson.

He tweeted: "Black brits vs African American. A stupid ass conflict we don’t have time for."

Jackson made the comments when he was asked his thoughts on a new movie titled ‘Get Out’ about an interracial relationship.

It stars British actor Daniel Kaluuya as an African-American man interacting with his white liberal Americans potential in-laws who are forced to face their prejudices and the 68-year-old star thinks an American would have better understood the role.

He said: "I think it’s great; [Get Out]’s doing everything it’s doing and people are loving it. But … I know the young brother who’s in the movie, and he’s British.

"So, there are a lot of black British actors in these movies. I tend to wonder what would that movie would have been with an American brother who really feels that."

Jackson added that Hollywood executives often go for British actors over Americans because they demand less money and they believe they are better trained actors.

He continued: "Daniel grew up in a country where they’ve been interracial dating for a hundred years … What would a brother from America have made of that role? I’m sure the director helped, but some things are universal, but [not everything]

"[British actors] are cheaper than us, for one thing. They don’t cost as much. And they [casting agents and directors] think they’re better trained, because they’re classically trained."

Other movies to cast British stars over Americans is David Oyelowo as Martin Luther King in ‘Selma’ and Chiwetel Ejiofor in the Oscar-winning ’12 Years A Slave’.

Samuel L. Jackson attended the Oscars to get free gifts

Samuel L. Jackson only attended the Oscars to get a free goody basket.

The 68-year-old actor explained that one of the biggest attractions of attending the ceremony was collecting the famed free gifts, but Jackson was frustrated to find they are no longer handed out to presenters.

The ‘Pulp Fiction’ star – who was among the presenters at the annual awards bash in Los Angeles on Sunday (02.26.17) – said: "You always go for the goody basket.

"They stopped giving them to presenters. They just give them to people who are nominated. So, I’m done with that. It’s all about the basket."

Jackson also rubbished the notion he shouldn’t accept free gifts simply because he’s a well-paid actor.

He told talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres: "Everybody likes free stuff. What’s the best thing about being famous? Free stuff."

Jackson recalled one particular Oscars ceremony at which Jack Nicholson gave his free gifts away.

He shared: "Years ago, it used to be (worth) a lot of money.

"The first time I went, I remember going to rehearsal and they’d give you your basket at rehearsal. Jack Nicholson was nominated that year and he came out with his basket and actually gave it to someone in the crowd that was in the back waiting. There was lots of great stuff in there."

Meanwhile, Jackson has revealed his determination to reclaim his crown as the highest-grossing actor of all time.

Jackson lost the title to Harrison Ford in early 2016 – but he is intent on rising to the top once again over the coming months.

He said: "Harrison is still ahead of me because of [‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’] last year.

"I think my assistant told me I was maybe 150 million or so behind him, but I got a chance to grab him with either this movie ‘[Kong: Skull Island’] or [‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’] is doing really well in China, so I might catch him soon."

Scarlett Johansson: I was scolded by Samuel L. Jackson at the Oscars

Scarlett Johansson was "scolded" by Samuel L. Jackson at the Oscars for not sending him pictures of her two-year-old daughter.

The 32-year-old actress bumped into her ‘Avengers’ co-star at the annual awards bash in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (02.26.17) – but was given a telling off by her friend for falling to keep him informed about the progress of little Rose.

Scarlett said while giggling: "I was excited to see Sam Jackson, but then he scolded me for not sending him enough pictures of my kid."

And Scarlett, who stars as the Black Widow in the Marvel movies, admitted to being a little flustered by Jackson’s greeting.

She told E! News: "I was like, ‘Honestly, here on the red carpet?’ He was like, ‘Where’s my picture?’"

The Hollywood actress also confessed she can’t remember what Jackson bought for Rose when she was born – which she predicted would also upset the ‘Pulp Fiction’ star.

Asked about Jackson’s baby gift, Scarlett said: "Oh, gosh! What did he get the baby? Don’t ask me. If I don’t remember, he’s going to get angry again. You know, you want Sam on your side!"

Meanwhile, Scarlett claimed earlier this month that monogamy is "unnatural".

The blonde beauty – who was married to Ryan Reynolds between 2008 and 2011 and is also thought to have separated from her second husband Romain Dauriac – said it is "a lot of work" to be in a relationship with just one person.

She explained: "With every gain there’s a loss, right? So that’s a loss. You have to choose a path. I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; it’s a beautiful idea, and the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing. I don’t think it’s natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that, but I think it’s work. It’s a lot of work.

"And the fact that it is such work for so many people – for everyone – the fact of that proves that it is not a natural thing. It’s something I have a lot of respect for and have participated in, but I think it definitely goes against some instinct to look beyond."

Samuel L. Jackson doesn’t need an Oscar

Samuel L. Jackson insists he doesn’t need to win an Oscar to be successful.

The 68-year-old actor has starred in a string of critically-successful movies throughout his career, so even if he never picks up one of the coveted Academy Award statuettes, he knows that means he hasn’t been a professional "failure".

In an interview with the i newspaper, he said: "I don’t have an Oscar. But I don’t think it will define my career if I never get one. No one is saying ‘Ah man, he worked all those years, and never got an Oscar, he’s such a failure!"

While Samuel is pleased the likes of ‘Fences’, ‘Moonlight’ and ‘Loving’ have been tipped for awards success following last year’s #OscarsSoWhite controversy over the lack of diversity in the nominations, he insists that doesn’t necessarily mean things will change when the Oscar winners are announced next month.

He warned: "’Manchester by the Sea’ – amazing, brilliant; there are no black people in that movie."

The xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ actor views his movies as nothing more than entertainment and escapism.

He said: "I see myself as someone who gives people an opportunity to get away from their everyday lives for two hours."

The iconic star plays NSA Agent Augustus Gibbons for the third time in the new ‘xXx’ movie and insists not much has changed with his character.

He said: "I play the same cat I always have. I go to [the leads]. I tell them what to do. I come back and I say, good job."

While he hasn’t won many awards, the ‘Snakes on a Plane’ actor is proud so many of his lines of dialogue have proved memorable to audiences.

He said: "There are people who have spent their whole career acting, and not one person can remember a word that they have said."

Samuel L. Jackson pays BET tribute to wife and daughter

Samuel L. Jackson thanked his wife and daughter for saving his life as he collected his Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards.

The 67-year-old actor paid tribute to LaTanya Richardson, 66, and their 34-year-old daughter Zoe when he picked up the prize at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (06.26.16), praising his loved ones for urging him to go to rehab after finding him passed out one day.

He said: "The other two people that challenged me on a regular basis are my foundation and support, my daughter Zoe and my wife LaTanya.

"The two women that actually found me passed out on the floor after I left somebody’s bachelor party and put me in rehab the next day. And supported me and pushed me and give me a reason to get up and go and chase it day after day after day."

The ‘Django Unchained’ star thanked several other people during his heartfelt speech, including his publicist, lawyer, former drama professor, Aunt Edna and God.

Speaking to the audience, he said: "It’s sort of exciting, I never get nervous, and I can hear my voice shaking and it’s strange to hear myself sound that way. But it’s been a great ride getting here, as there are a couple people very instrumental in that.

"First I want to thank god for giving me this opportunity even in the beginning. A young man who grew up in a segregated Tennessee, nobody told me I could be this.

"So, here I am, and here you are. Thank god for that."

The Hollywood legend concluded his speech by paying tribute to his fans for supporting him throughout his career.

He said: "Lastly, I want to thank everybody in here and in the world who has ever bought a ticket, a video, or a DVD with me in it."

Samuel L Jackson: Hollywood diversity is improving

Samuel L. Jackson believes diversity in Hollywood is improving.

The 67-year-old actor thinks film and TV better reflects "real life" issues and there are now more "interesting" portrayals of female heroes and mixed race couples on screen.

Speaking on UK TV show ‘This Morning’, the ‘Pulp Fiction’ star said: "I think there are more films and television shows for sure that deal with real life issues.

"There are transgender people and gay people all over television, there are specifically more Asian, Hispanic and black people on television – and behind the scenes – creating and doing things. […] A lot more women heroes, a lot more interesting couples on television in terms of mixed race, especially in America – you guys [in Britain] have had that for a very long time."

‘The Avengers’ actor – who is married to actress LaTanya Richardson – also admitted he is worried about a "backlash" from people seeing this diversity as a form of tokenism in the wake of the #OscarsSoWhite scandal which engulfed the Academy Awards this year.

He said: "Now I know there is going to be an interesting sort of backlash or this year things will happen – you know, films with people of colour, that have directed them, acted in them, and you’ll start thinking ‘Well, did they do this because they had that controversy last year or am I really worthy of this award?… Are they doing this as some kind of token thing?’

"So you create a whole set of circumstances that aren’t necessary, and hopefully those films and those people will be worthy."

Elsewhere in the interview, Samuel was keen to talk about his involvement in the ‘One for the Boys’ campaign, which aims to encourage men to take their health seriously and highlight male cancers.

He said: "Men don’t tend to pay attention to their bodies like women… and men, especially in this country die from stomach cancer more than women, and men do get breast cancer and lung cancer, and skin cancer and whole lot of other things that they don’t talk about.

"We [men] are taught not to talk about our pain and just tough it out and be a man, and we just don’t go to the doctors as often as women."

Samuel L. Jackson likens alcoholism to cancer

Samuel L. Jackson has likened alcoholism to cancer.

The ‘Snakes On A Plane’ star – who has been open about his previous battle with alcohol and drugs – says he is under no illusion that those tendencies may return but insists he is "not planning on it".

He told Men’s Health magazine: "I didn’t drink yesterday and I’m not planning on it today. People treated for cancer might go into remission, but there’s a chance it will come back. I feel the same about alcoholism. I still have drug dreams. It’s hard because I understand the weed is really good now!"

Meanwhile, the 67-year-old actor previously revealed he was working the whole time throughout his battle.

He said: "I fancied myself as Oliver Reed … I drank and I used drugs. I liked the feeling of not being cognisant of what was going on around me. I was working the whole time. I rehearsed and performed on drugs. I went on stage and watched people’s eyes roll across stage and I’d go, ‘Oh, I have a line, OK got to focus on the play now.’"

However, for him, the turning point came when his wife LaTanya Richardson and their daughter Zoe, now 34, found him passed out in their kitchen drunk and in possession of cocaine.

Recalling the moment, he said: "When I looked up, LaTanya and Zoe were standing there. The cocaine was cooked but I’d never smoked it. That was the first time LaTanya realised I was doing something that was greater than just smoking weed and drinking."

And whilst alcohol and drugs are still around him, Samuel insists his wife is not worried he will suffer a relapse.

He shared: "I hang out with people who smoke weed on the golf course, I’ve been in rooms with big plates of cocaine. When I was drinking nobody offered me f***ing Cristal, now I’ve got bottles of it in my house that people keep giving me. My wife doesn’t worry about me opening those bottles."

Samuel L. Jackson refuses rude request

Samuel L. Jackson refused to take a photo with a fan because he didn’t say please.
The ‘Hateful Eight’ star was slammed on Twitter by a DJ named Fitz for declining his request for a selfie, but the 67-year-old star then hit back to crticize the radio host for his lack of manners.
Fitz tweeted at the weekend: "That moment when you meet one of your favorite actors & they are a COMPLETE D**K!!!!!!!!!
"What an arrogant PUNK! Right @SamuelLJackson ????(sic)"
In response, the actor posted: "I refused the photo politely @FollowFITZ then you spazzed out!.
"Learn to say Please & F**k you! Thanks for the Whitney Snitch!

"Now @FollowFitz, do you see Please anywhere in that exchange? You saw it your way, I see it mine. Stop whining, it’s over.(sic)"

He said: "I just had a big letdown of my life. There was no altercation. There was no situation.
"I just went on Twitter and I told Samuel L. Jackson, hey I couldn’t believe how you treated one of your fans.
"If you’re going to be told ‘F you’ on Twitter by anybody, it’s awesome if it’s done by Samuel L. Jackson."
And it seems the altercation could have a happy ending as the DJ has offered to raise money for a charity of the actor’s choice.
In response to his video, Samuel wrote: "You’re right @FollowFITZ, I watched. There’s a lot of folks that share your experience w/ me & tons of others just the opposite! Still a Fan (sic)"
