Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose’s ‘prank war’

Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose are embroiled in a "prank war".
The actresses are currently filming scenes for Vin Diesel’s action movie ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ and it all kicked off on April 1 when tradition dictates that people should target their pals and play mischievous tricks on them.
The latest joke took place today (04.05.16) and saw Nina being outed as having a worrying infatuation with her 30-year-old co-star.
Ruby posted a video to her Instagram account which shows her entering Nina’s make-up trailer and gasping in horror, as she stumbles upon dozens of portrait pictures of herself pinned to the walls and covering the bed of the ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star’s private quarters.
Alongside the short clip, the Australian beauty wrote: "When you go to say hi to @ninadobrev but she has 100 photos in her trailer of you and it’s awkward because you’re trying to be professional.. #seekhelpnina #evillaughofastalker #wherestheshinetoo #ineedextrasecurity (sic)"
And in the video, Ruby says: "Are you ready to chill? Whoah, what the hell is this man! Dude this is not OK! Are you obsessed with me?"
Nina, 27, then reposted the video on her account and declared "war" on Ruby.
She said: "After I scared the crap out of her last week, she retaliated back. In true Narcissist fashion. By covering my entire trailer with photos of herself. Stay tuned y’all. The war has begun … #ScareWars Watch your back Rose… Watch your back. @rubyrose #XXXtheMovie #PrankWars … Ruby Strikes back (sic)"
Nina had previously scared the life out of her pal when she unexpectedly screamed in her face and captured her shocked reaction on camera.
Nina had shared the clip on Instagram on Friday (04.01.16) and wrote: "Going to have to wash your mouth out with Soap Missy. **Viewer Discretion is Advised** @rubyrose #ThoughtiWouldnt #ButiDid #ThatsOnYou #GotHer A Special pre April fools… Stay tuned for more, from the set of #XXXtheMovie … Game on. Dobrev out (sic)".
Nina and Ruby play thrill seeking cohorts Rebecca Clearidge and Adele Wolff respectively in ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ which also stars Samuel L. Jackson NSA Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons.

Samuel L Jackson reveals curse cure

Samuel L. Jackson’s stammer is cured when he says ”motherf***er”.

The ‘Hateful Eight’ actor’s speech impediment was so debilitating when he was younger, he was bullied and ”stopped speaking for almost a year in school” but discovered an unusual way to rectify his stutter.

He explained: ”I have no idea [how] but it just does. It clicks a switch that stops the d-d-d b-b-b, because me, I stuttered really, really, really badly for a long time.”

The 67-year-old actor – whose character in ‘Snakes on a Plane’, FBI agent Neville Flynn, memorably said: ”I’ve had it with these motherf***ing snakes on this motherf***ing plane” – taught himself to control his speech impediment without formal speech therapy and his hard work eventually paid off.

He told SiriusXM DJ Howard Stern: ”I read a lot. I read things about breathing exercises, I actually went to the library to combat stuttering.”

Though he was able to get his stutter under control, Samuel admitted he still had a number of run-ins with bullies.

He said: ”Yeah I fought a bit.”

Asked if he won, he joked: ”I could then [but] not anymore. I’m too old now.”

Samuel L. Jackson lost his virginity age 11

Samuel L. Jackson lost his virginity aged 11.

The 64-year-old star used to go skinny dipping in a small stream while he was on holiday at a relative’s farm in Georgia, US, with girls who were a little older than he was, and he was willing to ”do that thing” as long as they consented.

He told Playboy magazine: ”There was a family of girls who lived through the woods from us, and we all used to meet at this creek and swim naked.

”I was about 10 or 11. I think two of the girls were about 14, 15, so that’s when it happened.

”Girls were interesting to me, period. They could be fat, skinny, tall, short, ugly, beautiful – as long as they were willing to do that thing.”

The star has been married to actress LaTanya Richardson since 1980 after the pair met while he was at the all-male Morehouse College, Atlanta, while she was Spelman College which was based in the same city.

Two years after they wed, they had their only child, daughter Zoe, together.

Jonah Hill joins Django Unchained

Jonah Hill has signed up for ‘Django Unchained’.

The ’21 Jump Street’ star previously turned down a role in the spaghetti western movie – which will be directed by Quentin Tarantino – due to scheduling conflicts but he is now able to play a different character, who is as yet unknown, in the film.

Jonah rejected the role of Scotty Harmony, who loses the titular character Django’s (Jamie Foxx) slave wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) to evil plantation owner Calvin Candie – who is played by Leonardo DiCaprio – which results in him being involved in a showdown with the slave-turned-bounty hunter.

The drama film focuses on Django’s quest to recover his wife from Calvin – who runs club Candyland, where his spouse and other female slaves are exploited as sex objects – and Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz and James Russo have also signed up for the motion picture.

Jonah and Leonardo will then join forces for Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, which is based on Jordan Belfort’s memoir of his rise and fall as a stockbroker.

John Dujardin has also been in talks to star in the crime drama, which will see Leonardo play Jordan, a multi millionaire stockbroker who was charged with security fraud and money laundering, and served a 22-month prison stretch.

Hugh Laurie is being lined up to star in ‘RoboCop’.

The ‘House’ actor is currently in negotiations to play the main villain in the Jose Padilha directed movie, which features police officer Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) who is brutally murdered and subsequently re-created as a super-human cyborg.

Gary’s alter-ego will find himself torn between Hugh’s character and the machine who is trying to rediscover his humanity.

Abbie Cornish is in talks to play Murphy’s wife, who is led to believe her husband has been killed in the line of duty while Samuel L. Jackson will take on the role of "charismatic media mogul" Pat Novak.

The movie is due to begin shooting in Toronto, Canada, this September and scheduled to be released next summer.

Will Smith in next Quentin Tarantino movie?

As Quentin Tarantino’s new Sergio Leone-inspired script circulates in Hollywood, I Am Legend star Will Smith is reportedly the frontrunner for the lead role in Django Unchained, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The film tells the story Django, a freed slave who teams up with a German bounty hunter to search for his wife. The German eventually trains Django, and together they team up to take down an evil plantation owner.

The part of the German bounty hunter was reportedly written specifically for Christoph Waltz, who starred alongside Brad Pitt in Tarantino ‘s Inglourious Basterds in 2009. Another Tarantino favorite, Samuel L. Jackson is also up for a key role.

In a 2007 interview with the Daily Telegraph, Tarantino discussed an idea for a form of spaghetti western set in America’s Deep South which he called "a southern", stating that he wanted "to do movies that deal with America’s horrible past with slavery and stuff but do them like spaghetti westerns, not like big issue movies.

“I want to do them like they’re genre films, but they deal with everything that America has never dealt with because it’s ashamed of it, and other countries don’t really deal with because they don’t feel they have the right to.”

Currently, no formal offer has been made yet to Smith. Tarantino is reportedly planning a fall shoot, possibly in Louisiana.

In the meantime, Will Smith is filming Men in Black III due in theaters May 25, 2012. The actor is busy these next few years, especially with Independence Day 2 and 3 for 2013 and 2014, and Hancock 2 for 2013.
