Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt ‘are house hunting in London’

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are house hunting in London.

The ‘Unbroken’ director and her 51-year-old husband are reportedly keen to find a property in the UK capital because Angelina – who’s won various awards for her humanitarian work – wants to further her political ambitions.

A source said: ”They’re house hunting in London.

”Angie wants to slowly immerse herself in E.U. politics.”

The Hollywood duo – who have six children and tied the knot in France last year – have already toured a $39 million, seven-bedroom Westminster mansion, but are apparently reluctant to part with such a large sum of money.

The insider told Us Weekly magazine: ”It’s a huge investment. Neither of them wants to throw down that amount of cash.”

News of the duo’s potential move to the UK comes shortly after Brad was offered the chance to enjoy a private tour of Banksy’s Dismaland theme park in Weston-super-Mare, south-west England.

Brad is a self-confessed fan of the Bristol street artist and was given the opportunity to view the new park away from the general public before it opened earlier this month.

A source previously said: ”Brad has followed Banksy’s work for years now and really loves his ideology, so he is making special arrangements to ensure he can get down to the park.”

Angelina Jolie admits it’s not easy directing Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie admits ”it’s not easy” directing herself and Brad Pitt in ‘By the Sea’.

The 39-year-old star is currently shooting the film, which tells the story of a married couple’s complicated relationship, in Gozo, Malta with her husband and says she is still getting used to working alongside him because ”it’s a heavy film.”

She said: ”The tricky thing is directing myself and directing Brad. It’s hard, dramatic material, and we’re balancing.

”It’s a heavy film, and it’s not easy for us. But even as you struggle through it, you’re in the trenches together and you don’t expect it to be easy. We’re challenging each other and that’s a really good thing.”

But the Oscar winner says her relationship with Brad, 50, hasn’t changed since they got married over the summer and ”compared to ‘Unbroken,’ this film is a walk in the park.”

She told DuJour magazine: ”I think when it’s right, it feels the exact same [as before].”

Angelina also admits it’s ”weird” having their 13-year-old son, Maddox, work as a production assistant on the movie.

The brunette beauty recently said she plans to star in ”a few more” films, but says it is ”absolutely” still her intention to give up acting completely to focus on directing.

She said: ”I’ve never been comfortable as an actor; I’ve never loved being in front of the camera. I didn’t ever think I could direct, but I hope I’m able to have a career at it because I’m much happier.

”When it comes to being a director, it’s so new for me and I’m quite shy about it because I’m still learning.”

Brad Pitt owes George Clooney a gift

Brad Pitt still ”owes” George Clooney a wedding gift.

The ‘Fury’ actor missed his close friend’s recent wedding in Venice because he and spouse Angelina Jolie were shooting their new movie ‘By The Sea’, and he admits he still needs to make things up to his pal by sending a present for the ‘Monuments Men’ star and his new wife Amal.

Asked why he wasn’t at the wedding, he told ‘Access Hollywood’: ”We were filming in Malta.

”[Did I send a gift?] I still owe him something.”

In ‘Fury’, Brad plays tank commander Wardaddy and admits spending his days in the huge military vehicle wasn’t a very pleasant experience.

He told USA Today newspaper: ”I’d get in the morning, not get out till wrap. Just send lunch up there.

”It’s just not made for man. There’s nothing ergonomical in a tank.”

However, after a few days on set, the 50-year-old star was able to find a ”comfort spot” inside the tank.

He explained: ”But after a few days, you just find your little comfort spot. Right between the bolt and the turret ring, you’ve got this one little place to put your head, and this one little spot where your coffee won’t spill.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie take self defence classes

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are taking self defense classes.

The couple – who married in France last month – have been practicing a form of Israeli self defense called Krav Maga to help them prepare for their upcoming movie ‘By The Sea’.

Brad, 50 – who has six children, Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, nine-year-old Zahara, eight-year-old Shiloh, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with his ‘Maleficent’ star wife – is believed to have lost more than 10 pounds after participating in the intense military-style exercise classes for just three weeks and is even letting his kids join in the fun.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ”The whole family are learning the moves, even the little ones are doing modified kids’ moves but Brad has been doing it for 45 minutes a day and has dramatically lost weight and beefed up his muscles for the film.”

While Brad is new to Krav Maga, Angelina started learning self defense to train for her ‘Tomb Raider’ role in 2001, and the super-fit pair are now said to be practicing the technique several days a week.

The source said: ”Angelina previously learnt Krav Maga when she was doing Tomb Raider and loved it.”

‘By The Sea’ has been written and directed by Angelina, 39, and will mark the first time the couple have starred together on screen since they met on the set of ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ in 2005.

The couple recently enjoyed their honeymoon with their children aboard a luxury yacht in Malta while filming began on the picture on the country’s second largest island, Gozo.

Tips for baby’s seaside holiday

The National Institute for Prevention and Health Education shares safety tips to keep you and your family safe at the seaside.

Comply with safety rules at all times. Know where to swim. Focus on supervised areas where lifeguards are present. Be aware of the high tide schedule so you are not taken by surprise.

It’s strongly recommended that you maintain your child’s nap schedule. Fatigue is responsible for half of drownings.

Remember the standard rule: after eating, allow your food to digest before returning to the water – stress can cause cramps and drowning in some cases.

And don’t neglect safety around a pool. Make sure the appropriate safety devices and alarms are on hand in the event a child falls in. Check for a pole, a buoy and a telephone.

Adult supervision is still the most recommended safety tip, whether at the beach or the pool.
