Taylor Swift’s cat is worth $97M

One of Taylor Swift’s three cats has risen to near the top of the world’s most lucrative pets with an estimated net worth… of $97 million! 😮

The star’s cat named Olivia Benson found herself in third place in AllAboutCats’ ranking that released the ultimate list of the world’s richest and most influential pets, surpassing Oprah’s pets who got the fourth position in the ranking.

The lovely Olivia is also featured in several of the singer’s music videos and in several commercials, including one for Diet Coke. Olivia (and Swift’s 2 other cats) even have their own collection of merchandise!

Anyway, like it or not, Olivia Benson also contributes to fill Taylor Swift’s portfolio!

9000$ for Taylor Swift tickets… gone!

Sydney Wallace is a Taylor Swift fan and she claims she was charged $9,000 for tickets she didn’t end up getting.

Wallace had to wait for eight hours to get to the SeatGeek checkout, which did not allow her to complete her purchase, and yet charged her… 14 tickets!

“I waited in line for Taylor Swift tickets for 8 hours today. And SeatGeek charged me 14+ times for tickets I never got to buy! So now my bank accounts (on multiple cards) are frozen, I’m broke, he (the fraudster) found out about my accounts, and I did NOT get tickets,” the 25-year-old tweeted.

Evidently, Wallace contacted SeatGeek to demand a refund for tickets she paid for, but didn’t get, and was told by someone that she would have to wait 3-5 days for a refund.

According to the information she was forwarded, the fee should clear in 24 hours, and she will be able to get tickets at the public sale on Friday (new date rescheduled by SeatGeek).

Recall that last week, when ticket sales for her “Eras Tour” opened, Swift went ballistic as Ticketmaster ran into a ton of trouble when the market opened.

Let’s hope that this situation, which is very unpleasant for Taylor Swift, will be resolved quickly!

Rita Ora reveals Calvin Harris heartache

Rita Ora wanted to ”crawl in bed and die” after splitting from Calvin Harris.

The 25-year-old singer had to scrap some of the tracks for her second album because the DJ had worked with her on them, but the blonde beauty is pleased she managed to ”survive” the devastation that came with their separation.

She told Wonderland magazine: ”At the time … I just wanted to crawl in my bed and die. But I got out of it the other side, I’m surviving.”

As a result of scrapping some of the tracks she worked on with the 31-year-old hunk – who is now dating Taylor Swift – Rita completely changed the record’s theme from ”lovey-dovey” to one about her friends.

She added: ”I kind of saw the light at the end of the tunnel and I just wanted to change the vibe of the whole album.

”It was initially a really lovey-dovey album because that’s where I was, but then I obviously didn’t feel like that.”

Following the couple’s split in June 2014, Calvin prevented Rita from performing her track ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ – which he wrote and produced – at the Teen Choice Awards.

The stunner recently admitted their relationship started to go wrong after that song was released in March 2014.

She said: ”There was a reason why I split up with him … It was more of a thing where I was in awe. I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong.

”I thought he had my back and that he’d never steer me wrong. But then ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ came out, and everything started to go a bit weird.

”I don’t know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what.”

Rihanna won’t join Taylor Swift’s squad

Rihanna doesn’t want to be part of Taylor Swift’s squad.

The 25-year-old singer has accumulated a group of famous celebrity pals, many of whom have joined her on stage on her ‘1989’ world tour but Rihanna insists she has no plans to do the same as their ”brands don’t match”.

Asked if she would tour with Taylor, Rihanna told NME magazine: ”I don’t think I would. I just don’t think it makes sense. I don’t think our brands are the same: I don’t think they match, I don’t think our audiences are the same. In my mind she’s a role model, I’m not.”

Rihanna, 27, is close friends with Katy Perry, 30, who Taylor fell out with in a feud over their backing dancers.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time the Barbadian beauty has claimed her risqué antics aren’t suitable for the younger audience as she admitted last year she doesn’t intend to live up the ‘role model’ title.

She said previously: ”I don’t like to use that word [role model] because people have their own opinion on what that means to them. I can’t really say I’m a role model. I’m not perfect. I’m not trying to sell that.”

She added: ”I want people to have fun but be responsible, protect themselves and be in control of your life. You can never judge people. I always made that a point. You never know what someone is going through.”

Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran stage Twitter ‘spat’

Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran have staged a fake Twitter spat.

The 29-year-old R&B star and singer/songwriter Ed have recreated the dispute between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj over the latter’s failure to receive more nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards by contriving an argument of their own.

Bruno tweeted: ”Yo I want in on this twitter Beef!! VMAs is the new WWF!! @edsheeran F**k You! SHOW YOURSELF!!! @edsheeran (sic)”

And Ed was happy to rise to the challenge, warning his pop rival he would be defeated in the wrestling-style spat.

The 24-year-old Brit said: ”Any way we do dis you gon’ come up short (sic).”

Bruno responded: ”That Cut deep..U always know how to sheer me to the core. I can’t believe we’re Sheeran this in public. How dare u! (sic).”

The spat between Taylor and Nicki – which inspired Bruno and Ed’s social media prank – erupted after the hip hop star bemoaned being nominated for just three VMA awards, with her ‘Feeling Myself’ promo missing out entirely and ‘Anaconda’ being overlooked for the top prize, Video of the Year.

Nicki tweeted: ”Hey guys @MTV thank you for my nominations. Did ‘Feeling Myself’ miss the deadline or…?

”If I was a different ‘kind’ of artist, ‘Anaconda’ would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well.

”When the ‘other’ girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination.

”If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.

”I’m not always confident. Just tired. Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it (sic).”

Taylor – who received nine nominations in total, including for Video of the Year and Best Female – felt the tweets were aimed at her due to her ‘Bad Blood’ promo being up for Video of the Year and replied: ”I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.”

However, the duo have since reconciled their differences and Taylor has even invited Nicki to join her on stage at the VMAs.

Taylor Swift welcomes Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart into her ‘squad’

Taylor Swift has accepted Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart into her ”squad”.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter is well-known for performing on stage alongside her famous friends, such as ‘Girls’ creator Lena Dunham and Gigi Hadid, and she’s now welcomed two of Hollywood’s biggest stars into the team.

Sir Patrick, 75, tweeted: ”So @IanMcKellen recited Bad Blood and I did Blank Space on @NPRAskMeAnother. May we join the squad, @taylorswift13?”

And without hesitation, Taylor replied: ”Absolutely.”

The American star – who’s currently dating Scottish DJ Calvin Harris – then tweeted a montage of the acclaimed actors and wrote: ”Thanks for reciting my lyrics, @IanMcKellen and @SirPatStew! You’ve made my day.

”You two are ULTIMATE Squad Goals. (sic)”

The blonde beauty has been joined on stage by a whole host of celebrities during her ‘Taylor Swift: The 1989 World Tour’ in recent months including tennis star Serena Williams, ‘Law and Order: Special Victims Unit’ actress Mariska Hargitay – whose character Taylor named one of her cats after – ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star Kendall Jenner and model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne.

Taylor Swift gets friendly at awards shows

Taylor Swift says the best thing about awards shows is getting to party with her pop star pals.

The ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker – whose relationship with superstar DJ Calvin Harris became public at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards – confessed that making friends with other musicians at the ceremonies has helped her to enjoy the events which can feel ”competitive” and ”strange”.

She said: ”That’s the cool part about the musical climate right now, is that I go to these award shows and I really do feel like I’m seeing a lot of my friends and the more friends that I make that are awesome and cool and are at these events, the less it feels like some strange competitive atmosphere.

”That doesn’t feel as nice as going to an award show and feeling like, ‘Hey! It’s everyone that I really loved!’ ”

Taylor is close friends with British musician Ed Sheeran and is pals with Sam Smith, and she is so thrilled with their success.

Speaking on UK TV show ‘Lorraine’, she said: ”I think that it’s been amazing to watch artists like Ed and Sam to put out their first single and have things hit so quickly and they are people that I am a huge fan of, I love what they do and I think that they are absolutely authentic and to top it off they are amazing people, they are fun to hang out with.”

The ‘Shake it Off’ hitmaker is currently on the road with her ‘1989 World Tour’ and invited non-music pals, models Cara Delevingne and Gigi Haddid to walk the stage with her at the Philadelphia gig – though she wouldn’t reveal whether she will treat fans in the UK to the same surprise now she’s in Britain.

She said: ”I think it’s fun to have people pop up and make special guest appearances on the tour even if they’re not musicians, like, fans still love them. The cool thing about surprise guests is that they are surprises.”
