Jonathan Saunders May Team With Target

Saunders is negotiating with Target on the possibility of an eventual partnership, where he would create a collection for Target, reported FemaleFirst.

The American chain Target is known for its collaborations with well-known designers, and for this new collection, would like to have another British designer.  Other British designers such as Alice Temperley and Luella Bartley have previously worked for Target.

Saunders hopes that this partnership will be beneficial for him. He is preparing to unveil his new collection at Fashion Week in New York next month.

Saunders has worked with brands such as Topshop and Gola.

A Runway Show Without Models

The American chain Target decided to do an untraditional runway show not utilizing models. The retailer will be transforming Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall in Minneapolis, to make room for its hologram models using a new technology.

This technology will permit the new models to do the catwalk without the use of models. This show will present men’s wear, women’s wear, bridal and maternity wear. It will have the collections of Bowie by Keanan Duffty, Isaac Mizrahi for Target, Liz Lange for Target and Mossimo for Target. It will also present the accessories and footwear by Dominique Cohen for Target and HOLLYWOULD for Target. This runway show will be on November 6 and 7.
