In the film, Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa and Maggie are up to their old tricks, and as always, Homer doesn’t have it easy.

Several episodes of the series, which has been broadcast around the world for many years, can now be downloaded for free from the internet. The selection of 48 shows were originally broadcast on the Tracey Ullman show in the United States from 1987-1989.

The Simpsons Still Going Strong
The show’s creator, Matt Groenig, and his team have been bringing the animated characters to life for nearly 20 years. Groenig said, "My attitude at this point is, as long as the people who work on the show are having a good time, let’s keep doing it. We’ve always tried to entertain ourselves and figured that the outside world would be entertained if we were making ourselves laugh!"
The Simpsons have appeared on the FOX Network for an impressive 18 seasons. The show will make its big-screen debut in 2007. Recently, The Simpsons earned its 23rd Emmy Award.

Several Famous Guest in The Simpsons
As of September 10th, Michael Imperioli and Joe Pantoliano will play the main gangsters, next to mobster Tony.
This 18th season will also feature participation from the group The White Stripes on September 17th 2006, during an episode where Bart organizes a fund-raising concert to repair his arm, which was mauled by a tiger that was freed by his sister Lisa a few minutes before, near a pond outside Springfield.
Fran Dresher, Dr. Phil McGraw and actor Richard Lewis wil also be part of the series, in the special Halloween edition airing on November 5th 2006. On November 12th, Homer returns in the army and faces a formidable colonel, whose voice will be that of Keifer Sutherland. Many other names will appear in The Simpsons credits: Jonathan Franzen, Tom Wolfe, Gore Vidal and Michael Chabon, among others.
On July 26th 2007, the first Simpson feature will be released in theaters, almost three months after the 400th episode of the popular television series that will then be more than 20 years old. The first airing of The Simpsons was on the Tracey Ulman Show on April 19th, 1987.

The Simpsons Movie On the Way
A representative for the television series The Simpsons confirmed the news to MTV Wednesday. He added that all the actors who provide the voices for the characters have already signed their contracts.
The production team will be working simultaneously on the television series and the movie.
Nancy Cartwright, who is the voice of Bart Simpson, said that there is no release date scheduled yet for the film.
