How to watch Beast Wars: Transformers for free in Canada

I love Transformers, including everything from the 1984 series, the 1986 cinematic masterpiece, and even the 2018 film Bumblebee.

I’ve seen many of the cartoons, watched the Shia Lebouf and Mark Wahlberg movies and even played the War of Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron games, but the best of the franchise is still Beast Wars. The 1996 animated series, which had three seasons and a successor series called Beast Machines, is now officially available on YouTube.

In Canada, the Transformers official YouTube channel has full episodes of Beast Wars (or Beasties if you’re Canadian) streaming every Wednesday. Currently, the channel is on episode five of the 53 total across all three seasons.

Not to be shady, but the quality is exactly as you remembered it back in 1996, so it’s a bit rough to watch. If you’re interested, I have seen some people post 4K remasters of the original series online, so I’d consider doing a bit of research if you find the official episodes’ quality lacklustre.

This free Beasties content drops ahead of the live-action Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, a sequel to Bumblebee launching on June 9th.

Hasbro and Robosen announce premium self-transforming Optimus Prime trailer

Autobots rejoice.

Hasbro and Robosen have announced a new supplemental piece to add to your collection. After releasing a 19-inch self-transforming Optimus Prime robot, the two companies are releasing a self-transforming trailer.

The Transformers Optimus Prime auto-converting trailer can open up, transform and supports a miniature vehicle that can roll off its ramp. The trailer has a design pulled from the G1-era of the franchise and attaches to the auto-converting Optimus Prime model.

Plus, it measures in at 3ft in length.

Other unique features of the trailer include auto-deploying turrets — perfect for fighting Decepticons. It can use its hydraulics to lift and detach itself from Optimus Prime as well as open its rear doors.

When attached to the leader of the Autobots, the trailer can be towed around seamlessly. The listing states that the trailer features an integrated fifth-wheel coupling. This coupling easily attaches when it is operating in truck mode.

60 microchips and 18 individual servo motors powers the Optimus Prime auto-converting trailer. From a power perspective, it features a rechargeable Lithium Cell Battery (2600mAh.) Users will want to take full advantage of the Robosen Optimus Prime mobile app on iOS and Android to tap into all of its features. With a smartphone, users can control the miniature vehicle and trailer. Voice commands are also present.

If this new Optimus Prime trailer sounds up your alley, prepare to invest a premium for it. As with Optimus Prime, the trailer also runs $750 USD (roughly $950 CAD.) Preorders are available now. The estimated delivery of the trailer is set for December 1st, 2022. Note that the website states the product is not available to ship to Quebec.

As Transformers played a major impact on my childhood, it’s hard to not jump on both of these items. Though, the price tag is remarkably steep and may be hard to swallow.

Megan Fox: Shia LaBeouf was best onscreen kisser

Megan Fox has admitted her best onscreen kiss was with Shia LaBeouf.

The ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ star – who has locked lips with the likes of Adam Scott and Amanda Seyfried in the past – enjoyed her smooch with the 28-year-old actor whilst filming ‘The Transformers’ in 2009.

When asked by E! News who her favorite onscreen kiss was with, she replied without any hesitation: ”Shia LaBeouf.”

Megan, 28, also recently admitted she’s not worried about her former co-star after he was arrested in New York in June for allegedly yelling offensive language and slapping people’s bottoms midway through a Broadway performance of ‘Cabaret’ at Studio 54.

She told the New York Post newspaper: ”I’m not worried about Shia. I love my Shia. He’s perfectly fine. I haven’t talked to him in a couple of years, but I don’t worry about him. He’s a brilliant kid, talented and funny… There’s no reason to worry.”

Shia – who was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing after the incident – is currently receiving treatment for alcohol addiction.

His representative said at the time: ”Shia LaBeouf has not checked into a rehabilitation facility but he is voluntarily receiving treatment for alcohol addiction. He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery.”

Meanwhile, Megan is happily married to Brian Austin Green and has two children, Noah, 22 months, and Bodhi, five months, with him.

Mark Wahlberg isn’t bothered about his appearence

Mark Wahlberg doesn’t ”give a f**k” about his appearance.

The 42-year-old actor – who has kids Ella, 10, Michael, eight, Brendan, five, and Grace, four, with wife Rhea Durham – isn’t worried about impressing anyone and tries not to pay too much attention to his looks.

He told GQ magazine: ”I’m 42 years old, I haven’t looked in a mirror in 10 years. I don’t give a f**k how I look.

”If I have to prepare for a part physically, I will but I’ve got nothing to prove. I’m not trying to impress anybody.”

The ‘Pain & Gain’ star also admitted that years of gruelling action roles have taken their toll on his body.

He said: ”I’m 42 going on 75.

”[My hand was injured boxing once], whenever I do the dishes or catch it on the side of my trousers, it flares up.”

Mark plays a single father to Nicole Peltz’ character in new movie ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ and thinks the role marks a shift in the kind of parts he will soon be offered now he is getting older.

He said: ”If Hollywood had its way, normally, in a movie like this, Nicole would play my girlfriend.

”But I wanted to embrace the idea of playing older, of playing what will be my reality in the very near future.”

Transformers adventure ride debuts in Singapore

Universal Studios Singapore is about to become home to the world’s first Transformers adventure ride, which will blend 3D digital media and special effects with an interactive ride, reports Today Online.

Transformers the Ride opens officially to the public on December 3, although the film franchise’s executive producer and director Michael Bay – who served as a creative consultant to the theme park – will be on hand the day before to give the ride a proper send off.

"I am very excited about the debut of this attraction at Universal Studios Singapore," said Bay. "Finally, ‘Transformers’ fans will not only have the chance to watch the Autobots battle the Decepticons on screen; they’ll actually be part of the action."

The ride will place fans right in the heat of battle as they are tasked with helping the Autobots protect a shard of Allspark, a fictional substance that gives them life. Twelve 3D scenes will be mixed with a physical ride as the guests try to outrun the franchise’s antagonists, the Decepticons.

Megan Fox Eats Her Words

While accepting the award for best science fiction actress on Saturday (October 17) at the Scream Awards on Spike TV, Fox rectified some of her earlier comments.

Fox had told reporters that the second instalment of the Transformers franchise was meaningless, and even compared director Michael Bay to Hitler.  Obviously, those comments angered members of the crew.

"I don’t usually do this, but I wanted to say something," she began. "There have been a lot of false reports about how I feel about this movie. I just want to be very clear that I’ve always felt I’m a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film. The movie took me out of obscurity and gave me a career, and I’m completely grateful to everyone involved with this franchise."

It also appears that Fox will be part of the third film, which Bay announced will be released on July 1, 2010.  He also wrote a message on his Web site, that seemed to be aimed at Fox.  It read, "Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep."

Shia LaBeouf Under Pressure

The 23-year-old actor admitted that shooting his latest film, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, completely wore him out.

While wrapping up the shoot, LaBeouf was working 28 hours straight. "I don’t even know how to describe that level of exhaustion. When you become jaded and not bothered by a car flipping over your head because you have been doing a 28-hour day, then you know you must be tired," said LaBeouf.

Last week, Transformers director Michael Bay confessed that he was considering dropping the project after his feature film’s big star injured his hand.

Shia LaBeouf Wants Megan Fox

FemaleFirst.co.uk reports that LaBeouf has an enormous crush on Megan Fox, the actress with whom he co-starred in the two Transformers films.

The actor admitted to being a little frustrated as she only wants to be friends with him. He said, "She is a very attractive girl and I am a red blooded 23-year-old. I get it. It makes sense to me but it is just a professional relationship regardless of what my wishes and hopes would be."

Fox, also 23, had only nice words about her male co-star. "I enjoy his personality a lot. He is absurdly witty, I love him to death and we sort of have like a natural banter, brother-sister relationship that we both enjoy."

According to the latest rumours, Fox is back together again with Brian Austin Green, an on and off again relationship they have had since 2004.

Linkin Park on Transformers Soundtrack

The group Linkin Park is currently recording a song for the new Transformers film, which is headed to theatres on June 24, reports Rolling Stone.

Mike Shinoda, the group’s guitarist, announced the news on his Web site yesterday.

The song they are working on will be used as one of the themes, and will be heard in fragments throughout the film.

Mike Shinoda explained that the song was made with several layers of heavy synthesizers, which will mesh with the track’s cold robotic keyboard sounds.

The group collaborated with Hans Zimmer, a seven-time Oscar nominee and winner in 1995 for his music in The Lion King.
