Victoria Beckham was drunk when she first met David

Victoria Beckham was drunk the first time she met her now husband David.

The 42-year-old fashion designer first met the hunky retired soccer star, 41, at Manchester United’s grounds at a party in the 90s and the brunette beauty has admitted that their first encounter is "hazy", but she knew it was "love at first sight".

In a letter penned to her former self for the October edition of British Vogue magazine, she shared: "Yes, love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players’ lounge – although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy.

"While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family. (He’s not even in the first team at this stage – you are the famous one.)

"And he has such a cute smile. You, too, are close to your family, and you will think how similar he feels to you. He’s going to ask for your number. (He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it.)"

The couple married in 1999 and now have four children together – sons Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old daughter Harper.

David echoed his wife’s views on their relationship, as he said previously that as soon as he saw her in the Spice Girls music video for ‘Say You’ll Be There’ in 1996 he knew she was "perfection".

He said previously: "That’s the girl for me and I’m going to get her! She’s my idea of perfection. I knew that if she wanted me, we would be together forever."

Elsewhere in the letter, Victoria revealed how she has never felt comfortable in her own skin, and even recalled feeling "plump" when she was younger.

She wrote: "You have never properly fitted in, although you are sharing your Surrey school digs with really nice girls. You have bad acne.

"You think the Principal has put you at the back of the end-of-year show (in a humiliatingly bright purple Lycra leotard) because you are too plump to go at the front. (This may or may not be true.)"

Cruz Beckham learns guitar in bid for pop stardom

Cruz Beckham is learning guitar in a bid for pop stardom after a clip of him singing went viral.

The 11-year-old child of former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and retired soccer player David Beckham wants to become a singer and has taken up the instrument to improve his musicianship.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cruz has a natural affinity with music and he’s been desperate to learn the guitar. He’s had lessons for months and is constantly strumming away, singing along.

"Obviously he still has far to go, but there’s certainly potential there.

"He’s got a natural stage presence."

The news of Cruz’s new musical venture comes four months after his mother Victoria posted a video on Instagram of the schoolboy singing. The clip went viral, and it wasn’t long before it caught the attention of Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun. The move to learn guitar comes as Cruz aims to make himself an all-round performer.

Cruz – who has two brothers Brookyln, 17, and Romeo, 13, as well as a sister, four-year-old Harper – isn’t the only young Beckham to be thinking about their career already. Brooklyn has decided he wants a future in photography, as he knew "straight away" that it was something he wanted to do.

He said previously: "I studied photography in high school and straight away I knew it was something I was interested in.

"When I left school I started shooting in my spare time and really started enjoying it. I bought a few books and then I ended up interning for David Sims on a couple of shoots."

Fashion designer Victoria, 41, has also expressed her pride in her children, saying that they are "hard-working" and that she couldn’t ask for more.

She said: "You don’t have a rule book when you have a child. You just do the best that you can and I think the kids are doing a pretty good job.

"They’re well-mannered, hard-working, they’re fun and they’re happy kids. So what more can you ask for?"

Geri Horner: ‘Quitting Spice Girls was immature’

Geri Horner says it was "immature" of her to quit the Spice Girls in 1998.

The 44-year-old singer – better known as Ginger Spice – shocked fans around the world when she decided to leave the band midway through their ‘Spiceworld’ European tour but claims she felt she had no choice because she could no longer communicate with her bandmates Mel B, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham and Mel C.

She admitted: "There was a moment I decided to leave the band. I felt like it grown into this huge monster, bigger than the individuals, bigger than the band itself.

"Obviously there was bit of a ruction in the band and I was like,

‘I just don’t want to do this anymore.

"It was like, ‘You’re getting on my nerves and I don’t know how to talk this through, so I’m out of here.’ It was quite immature, looking back."

However, one good thing to come out of all the angst Geri had built up was that she put all of the negative energy into her first solo record, 1999’s ‘Schizophonic’, as a "f**k you" to the world.

Speaking on ‘Oprah: Where Are They Now?’, she shared: "I used all that sort an ‘F-you’ and all that creativity, a bit of hurt and poured it into a solo album."

Geri also admitted that she felt Mel B "completely carried" the Spice Girls during their Olympics performance in 2012.

The quintet reunited for a one-off performance at the closing ceremony in London and Geri was most impressed by Mel B.

She said: "Mel B is an absolute performer. She’s amazing! When we did the Olympics, she completely carried that. She would add something that was so bizarre and brilliant."

Geri has been working with Mel B and Emma on new Spice Girls music and a new track, ‘Song For Her’, their first material for nine years, was leaked last month.

A source said at the time: "Obviously the girls have been recording in the studio over the past few months.

"The plan is very much for there to be new music."

Geri, Emma and Mel B are expected to perform a one-off show in London’s Hyde Park next July to celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary but Mel C and Victoria have opted out.

Spice Girls vocal coach Slams Mel B for Victoria mic comment

The Spice Girls’ former voice coach has slammed Mel B for saying Victoria Beckham had her mic turned down.

Legendary British jazz star Pepi Lemer, who was the ‘Viva Forever’ hitmakers’ original voice coach, feels it was "unfair" of the 41-year-old singer – better known as Scary Spice – to single out Posh Spice because they all had their own individual vocal faults.

Although, she admits that when they harmonised together they were much stronger.

Pepi exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I was surprised Mel did say that, because each one of them had defects.

"They weren’t trained properly, and each one of them had weaknesses that had to be strengthened, but singing as a group they were strong.

"I think Mel was unfair for saying that, not one of them was a vocal diva. "

Pepi was full of praise for the iconic girl group – also comprised of Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner – and their unique singing qualities, but admitted Posh had to be trained to "blend in" with the rest of them.

She continued: "They all had to be trained in their own way. Mel C had a good soul sound, Emma had a pretty voice, a pretty vibrato.

"Geri had the hardest part because singing wasn’t the most natural thing for her to do, Neither was it natural for Victoria to sing, she wasn’t a natural singer.

She had to be trained so she could blend in with the others and forma group."

Pepi – who has also trained Madonna and The Beatles – helped the girls learn how to use their voices and would make them practice daily.

She added: "With Victoria, and all of them, she had to discover her voice.

"The only way to understand what you have is to train. I helped her (Posh) with tuning, how to project – which is incredibly important – how to breathe, I showed her how to stretch her voice so she wouldn’t harm it.

"I would make her – and all of them – practice individually every day, practice scales, make their voices stronger."

Pepi’s debut solo album ‘Back2Front’ is out now.

Mel B’s daughter Madison dresses as Ginger Spice

Mel B’s daughter has dressed up as Ginger Spice.

The 41-year-old former Spice Girl posted a picture of her youngest daughter, Madison Brown Belafonte, on Instagram where the four-year-old dressed up as Geri Horner’s alter ego in an orange wig and red dress.

Captioning the post, Mel wrote: "Today my daughter Madison wanted to be ginger spice,so I said yes of course you go girl!!! Especially for you@therealgerihalliwell #girlpower4ever (sic)"

Mel – who was known as Scary Spice in the group – embraced her daughter’s decision to dress as her fellow former Spice Girl as the ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers celebrate their 20th anniversary.

The adorable picture comes after a report that Mel C – known as Sporty Spice – is seeking a lawyer to confirm whether or not Geri, Mel B and Emma Bunton could reunite the group without her or Victoria Beckham. However, the three girls intent on reuniting for their anniversary celebrations don’t seem fazed by the reported legal action.

A source said previously: "Mel has told the other girls she is consulting lawyers about whether the reunion can go ahead without her. She believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her. The other girls are in regular text and phone contact with her. The girls are pressing ahead with their reunion plans as they were before."

Mel C ‘consulting lawyers over Spice Girls reunion’

Mel C is reportedly "consulting lawyers" to see whether the Spice Girls can reunite without her and Victoria Beckham.

While the 42-year-old singer is in regular text and phone contact with Geri Horner, Mel B and Emma Bunton, she is said to be considering legal action against the trio who recently announced plans to reform the girl band in honor of their 20th anniversary.

A source said: "Mel has told the other girls she is consulting lawyers about whether the reunion can go ahead without her.

"She believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her. The other girls are in regular text and phone contact with her."

The trio have decided against using the moniker GEM – meaning Geri, Emma and Mel – for their reunited group but are still planning to go ahead with their reunion.

The source said: "There was talk of using the nickname GEM but they’ve decided against that because the strength is through the Spice brand.

"The girls are pressing ahead with their reunion plans as they were before."

While Mel is thought to be considering legal action, Victoria is said to have been "really supportive" about the idea.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Victoria has told the girls to go for it.

"She’s been really lovely and supportive, which has been a relief to them."

Last month, a Spice Girls track called ‘Song For Her’ was leaked, their first material for nine years.

A source said at the time: "Obviously the girls have been recording in the studio over the past few months.

"The plan is very much for there to be new music."

Geri, Emma and Mel B are expected to perform a one-off show in London’s Hyde Park next July.

Eva Longoria not changed by marriage

Eva Longoria insists marriage hasn’t changed her relationship.

The 41-year-old actress tied the knot with TV boss Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston in May but she doesn’t think things feel any different because they were already "well established" as a couple.

She said: "The truth is I feel the same. We’ve been together for three years and the wedding hasn’t changed us much because we were already well established as a couple."

The former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star is smitten with her spouse – who has three children from his first marriage – and learns a lot from him.

She said: "He is a gentleman, very elegant… and I’m more casual. And he’s an excellent father.

"Every day gets better and I’m excited just thinking about the future."

Eva – who has been married twice before – and Pepe are currently working hard renovating their new home in Hollywood.

She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: "It is a lot of work for us. At the moment we’re living in Mexico City, although I’m always traveling to Los Angeles."

The brunette beauty has a hectic schedule in place, with her charity work, upcoming TV series ‘Decline and Fall’ and her debut clothing line, but she insists she isn’t doing much planning for the future.

She said: "I live in the moment. I don’t think about the future that much. I’m focused on my husband, my family, my work and now on my new clothes line."

Despite being close friends with Victoria Beckham, Eva hasn’t asked her for help with her clothing line.

Asked if she’s got advice from her pal, she explained: "No, because these garments are very different to the ones she designs. Victoria is a genius, a one-off. I love her designs."

Brooklyn Beckham gushes about Chloe Moretz

Brooklyn Beckham wants to "keep" Chloe Moretz.

The 17-year-old photographer – eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham – has been dating the 19-year actress for around two years and he took to Instagram to pay tribute to his girlfriend.

Posting a sweet black-and-white selfie of the pair in a car together, Brooklyn wrote: "I think I’ll keep her."

He the added a red love heart emoji.

The declaration of love comes after Brooklyn showed his support for Kanye West, just one day after Chloe got into a Twitter fight with the rapper’s sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian.

He shared a picture of himself on Instagram wearing a ‘The Life of Pablo’ shirt.

The clothing item has the lyrics "Step Up In This Bitch Like I’m The One Your Bitch Like’ from Kanye’s song ‘Waves’ written on it.

Chloe’s feud with Khloe, 32, kicked off after the ‘Kick-Ass’ starlet appeared to comment on the argument between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian West over her husband Kanye’s track ‘Famous’.

Chloe took to Twitter to post, "Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what’s ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world.

"Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant (sic)," apparently talking about Kim’s actions.

Khloe then waded in posting an extremely explicit image of a mystery woman dressed a skimpy red bikini with her bottom exposed, with a picture of Chloe in a similar bikini next to it.

She tagged Chloe in the tweet, writing: "Is this the a hole you’re referring to @ChloGMoretz??? (sic)"

Chloe responded by tweeting: "@khloekardashian fact check: first photo is me filming my movie Neighbors 2, the second photo is some girl who was wrongfully photographed. (sic)"

Fans were not impressed with Brooklyn’s post as they said it had disrespected Chloe and he soon deleted it.

And sources say Brooklyn is supporting his girlfriend through the high-profile feud.

One revealed: "Brooklyn thinks Chloe is a rock star for sticking up for her beliefs and not being afraid to voice them. He thinks Khloe was completely out of line to attack her the way she did and was surprised that she would stoop so low."

David and Victoria Beckham searching for a country home

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly searching for a £6 million country home.

The couple have recently finished renovations on their central London property but fashion designer Victoria is keen for the family to have a base away from the bustling city.

So after being inspired by TV show ‘Downton Abbey’, she is looking for a sprawling estate that boats stables, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a design studio and a pond where soccer legend David can fish.

A source said: "Victoria has stepped up her search in recent weeks and wants to get a move on. She wants her own version of Downton Abbey – something very classic as opposed to their place in London which is very modern."

The couple – who have four children, Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old Harper, together – are said to be looking in or around the Cotswolds, south central England.

Friends say they are keen to buy a country home as Victoria thinks it will help improve family life.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Victoria is desperate to find a new place in the country. She and David have struggled to make time for each other of late due to their hectic work schedules. But moving back to the country is a big step for them and a new phase in their relationship."

David and Victoria previously had a huge country mansion in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, which they sold in 2012.

They also have a home in Los Angeles, where they spend most of the children’s school holidays.

Last week, removal vans were spotted outside their London property, sparking speculation they could be saying goodbye to the British capital.

Spice Girls new music leaks

A new Spice Girls song has been leaked.

Last week, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner teased they were planning something – seemingly without other members Victoria Beckham and Mel C – in honor of the group’s 20th anniversary and it has now emerged they have recorded their first new material in nine years, a track called ‘Song For Her’.

According to The Sun newspaper, the song explores the way the trio have sometimes felt they have lost their Spice Girls identities due to their lives as parents.

Lyrics include: "Wipe up your tears of doubt you have been crying, lift up your dreams feel like you’re flying, never forget the girl is the woman you are."

And it is likely there will be even more new music to come.

A source said: "Obviously the girls have been recording in the studio over the past few months.

"The plan is very much for there to be new music.

"It will not be released under the GEM name that they gave themselves in their announcement, this is still very much the Spice Girls.

"It’s a Spice Girls song through and through and it’s something millions of their fans will be able to relate to having grown up with them.

"You can guarantee as soon as it’s released they will be back at the top of the charts where they belong, with or without Mel C or Victoria."

Earlier this week, Mel B dodged questions as to whether or not Mel C and Victoria will be joining her, Geri and Emma in their reunion.

Asked directly if Victoria is out of the group, she told ‘Access Hollywood Live’: "I think between the five of us, we’re always going to be the Spice Girls.

"But right now who you see saying thank you [in the video] are the ones going to be hurrying it all along."

Later in the interview, Mel was again pressed on whether the others will be back, but simply teased they have some "interesting" things on the way.

She said: "You know what? All will be revealed very, very soon.

"We have a few interesting things that we will be sharing with everybody, or the people that want to know. It’s gonna be very interesting."
