Eva Longoria reveals Victoria Beckham’s role in her wedding

Eva Longoria’s wedding was a "Victoria Beckham weekend".

The 41-year-old actress recently tied the knot with José Bastón and has revealed the crucial role her showbiz pal played in their marriage, which included designing her spectacular white dress.

She said: "I asked Victoria to do my dress because I wanted it to be special and made with love – and I knew that Victoria would make it with love.

"Victoria was one of my witnesses too. She signed the paper that says I was here – so it was a Victoria Beckham weekend."

The celebrity duo became close friends after the Beckhams moved to Los Angeles in 2007, and Eva was delighted to have Victoria alongside her on her wedding day.

She told HELLO! magazine: "She was the best, sweetest person to have there on this day.

"Not only did she do my wedding dress but she’s one of my best friends so for her to be there was so special."

Meanwhile, Eva explained how her wedding weekend unfolded in two distinct parts. The first was the couple’s civil ceremony at the home of José, who is the owner of Mexican multimedia company Televisa.

The second part was another ceremony that was staged the following day in the home of the bride and groom.

The former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star explained: "We wanted to get married in our house and do something very intimate.

"We have both been married before and we know the wedding is not the marriage so we wanted to pick a place so it wouldn’t be about the event, but about celebrating our love.

"Now we are looking forward to the marriage part. We’re just so excited to be Mr and Mrs Baston."

Brooklyn Beckham wants to move to the US

Brooklyn Beckham wants to move to America to be with Chloe Grace Moretz.

The aspiring photographer is smitten with the 19-year-old actress and is keen to enrol in college in Los Angeles – where he lived with his famous family for six years from 2007 – in order to be closer to his girlfriend.

A source said: "Brooklyn says he’s dead set on moving back to California. He wants to study acting and photography out there and, of course, be closer to Chloe."

But Brooklyn’s mother, fashion designer Victoria Beckham – who also has sons Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 10, and daughter Harper, four, with husband David Beckham – is not so keen on his plan and would prefer him to study closer to the family in the UK.

The source added to heat magazine: "Victoria is worried. This is the first time Victoria is being replaced in her son’s affections, but she understands it’s part of growing up and knows it’s not Chloe’s fault.

"She’s also been trying to persuade Brooklyn to go to university in the UK, but Brooklyn’s not hearing her. He says he’s already decided."

Chloe and Brooklyn first met at a SoulCycle class in 2014 but went public with their romance recently because all of the speculation surrounding them was having a damaging effect.

Chloe said previously: "Well, we’ve been off and on together for a couple of years now, and we just kind of made it official. We were always running from people taking pictures of us. And we were like, ‘You know what? It’s affecting our relationship.’

"We weren’t able to go to the restaurants we wanted to go to or just go to a movie. And so we thought, ‘You know what? If we’re more upfront about it and we break down the iron curtain and we just let them take our photo, they’re not going to care.’"

Brooklyn Beckham and girlfriend Chloe Grace Moretz make red carpet debut

Brooklyn Beckham and girlfriend Chloe Grace Moretz have made their red carpet debut as a couple.

The 17-year-old aspiring photographer – who is the son of David and Victoria Beckham – flew into Los Angeles from London to surprise the 19-year-old actress in order to be by her side at the Hollywood premiere of her new comedy, ‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising’, on Monday night (05.16.16) at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, California.

Speaking to E! Online, Chloe said: "Now, it’s out. It’s done. Get over it. It’s real. We’re together and that’s it! He’s very sweet. He’s a very, very genuine man. He’s a gentle man."

And Chloe also heaped praise on Brooklyn’s mother, fashion designer Victoria.

She said: "She’s a sweetie, I love everything she does. We definitely give each other compliments, that’s for sure."

Brooklyn took some photos of his girlfriend, who was wearing a black Alexander McQueen gown, before she took to the red carpet for press interviews and then waited patiently behind the branding boards before accompanying Chloe in the theatre.

After first sparking speculation they had rekindled their romance last month, Brooklyn has recently shared a number of pictures of himself and Chloe on his Instagram account, and described her as his "bae".

And it was recently revealed the ‘Kick-Ass’ actress has been given the seal of approval from David and Victoria, who are also parents to Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, four.

A source said: "Victoria adores her. She’s even offered to help Chloe with her modelling ambitions and they’ve been having girlie bonding sessions with Harper.

"Victoria has been joking how it’s good to finally be levelling things out with the female to male ratio in the family.

"The boys also love her and Victoria says she’s become part of the family – spending weekends at their home and going for dinner at least three nights a week."

All five Spice Girls to reunite for 20th anniversary?

All five members of the Spice Girls have been in talks about their 20th anniversary.

While only Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton reunited in London earlier this week to record the group’s first new music in 16 years, Mel admitted that they have been speaking to Mel C and Victoria Beckham about getting the quintet together to celebrate their milestone.

Speaking on Jamie Theakston and Emma’s Heart FM Breakfast show, she said: "I think between us five girls we’re always working on something between the five of us.

"It is our 20th anniversary coming up and we are in talks of doing something, whatever that may be."

Mel’s comments come after former Spice Girls producer Eliot Kennedy revealed the trio had been working on new material.

He tweeted: "Now that was a day for the history books. Like 20 years had never happened. Proper friendship! Hit Song."

Mel also shared a picture of the group on Instagram and wrote: "And I say oohhhh LALA (sic)."

And she said: "It’s funny, because back in the day people thought we had everything written for us but we’ve always written all our own songs. That’s why we’ve won Ivor Novello awards and all sorts. Everything always comes from us, and to do something for our 20-year anniversary is the ultimate dream.

"If we do anything, we will be writing everything from scratch. We are all group texting and speak a lot."

A new single and album are expected to be released later this year, while the Spice Girls have been tipped to play a number of dates in both London and Los Angeles in 2017.

Mel added: "We definitely want to do something. It’s a celebration of us still doing our thing 20 years on and still being supportive of each other, so we will see what happens. We are all just kind of in talks right now."

It was previously claimed that Victoria and Mel won’t return to celebrate the anniversary, with Victoria working on her fashion line and Mel concentrating on her own music.

Ticket tipper Chris Martin

Chris Martin "tips in concert tickets".

The Coldplay frontman was one of a number of famous faces Years & Years bassist Mikey Goldsworthy served while working as a waiter at upmarket London restaurant the River Café, and he admits the celebrity diners all tipped at varying rates and he "reluctantly" went to see the ‘Paradise’ hitmakers perform after being rewarded for giving good service to the singer.

Mikey told Q magazine: "Bono was really good. I can’t say how much but he was very generous.

"Paul McCartney was not the best tipper, but it meant more. Hes old school so he came and gave it to you personally.

"Chris Martin tipped in concert tickets. Did I want to go? Will, I went reluctantly all the way to Wembley."

Working in the restaurant and getting so close to the diners meant Mikey often came home with lots of gossip from overheard conversations.

He said: "Victoria Beckham was [there] with David and Gordon Ramsay and I think Gordon paid.

"They were going to start a restaurant but it fell through."

His bandmate Olly Alexander exclaimed: "You have the best goss!"

Bono isn’t the only "really good" celebrity tipper.

It was previously revealed Calvin Harris left a $1,000 tip to the captain and crew of a yacht he rented for six hours after filming his video for ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ starring Gigi Hadid on board.

Last August, Kim Kardashian West gave $300 after lunch with friends at Brennan’s in New Orleans, in recognition of the service they received for their $200 meal.

Amy Schumer left a $500 tip for a student working at Peter’s Clam Bar in Long Island, New York, despite her bill only coming to $49.

The ‘Trainwreck’ star reportedly opted to leave the generous sum after an "engaging, animated conversation with her server, Ryan".

During the course of their conversation, Ryan explained that he was "a college student working two jobs to fund his education" and so Amy decided to be particularly kind when it came to paying the bill.

And last March, Charlie Sheen left a $1,400 tip on a $629 restaurant bill.

Chloe Grace Moretz confirms Brooklyn Beckham romance

Chloe Grace Moretz has confirmed she is "in a relationship" with Brooklyn Beckham.

The 19-year-old actress – who was first romantically linked to the aspiring photographer at Paris Fashion Week in 2014 – has been spotted out and about with the 17-year-old Brit on numerous occasions recently and doesn’t see any point in hiding their romance.

Quizzed on whether she is dating Brooklyn, she said: "I think the more I don’t make it mysterious the more people don’t care, so yes we’re in a relationship."

And the ‘Bad Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising’ actress gets along well with Brooklyn’s famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

Speaking to Andy Cohen on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, she said: "He’s a great dad, she’s a great mother. They genuinely are very good parents that’s what matters most, they made a pretty son."

However, the family were initially unsure about the young romance as they feared she would be too much of a distraction, but soon had a change of heart when they spent more time with her.

Speaking previously the source explained: "Victoria and David like Chloe but were a bit hesitant about the relationship at first because they knew it would draw a lot of attention."

Victoria Beckham didn’t sing with Spice Girls

Victoria Beckham’s microphone used to be "turned off" when she performed with the Spice Girls.

The 42-year-old fashion designer admits she wasn’t the best vocalist in the group, so Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Mel C and Mel B were left to take the lead while she was inaudible – but she thinks she got the "last laugh".

She said: "They used to turn it off and just let the others sing. I got the last laugh – and now my mic is well and truly on, finally."

And Victoria – who has sons Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 11, and daughter Harper, four, with husband David Beckham – admits she was always the "sensible" member of the band and never felt comfortable with their wild antics.

Speaking at the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition in London on Thursday (05.05.16) night, she told host Claudia Winkleman: "When all the other girls were being fun and spontaneous and jumping on tables, I was always the one checking the table wasn’t going to collapse. I was always the sensible one.

"Luckily because I used to wear heels, I just used to jig about a bit and I got away with it but it never came easily. I was always much more reserved than the other girls."

When the ‘Viva Forever’ hitmakers were introduced to the public in 1996 – almost two years after they first formed – they were each given their own personas and Victoria found being fashion-loving Posh Spice had a lot of benefits.

She admitted: "I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were c**p and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress."

Despite having her microphone switched off for group performances, Victoria went on to enjoy solo success with four top 10 singles after the Spice Girls went on indefinite hiatus in 2000.

However, she then set her sights on conquering the fashion world and when the group reunited in 2007, she was the only member not to get a solo song during their live shows.

Instead, she walked a runway and danced to a remix of ‘Like a Virgin’.

Simon Fuller claims Victoria Beckham ‘felt uncomfortable’ in the Spice Girls

Victoria Beckham "always felt uncomfortable" in the Spice Girls, the band’s former manager Simon Fuller has claimed.
The 55-year-old entrepreneur, who worked with the girl group through the peak years of their success, has claimed Victoria only found her "true vocation" when she quit music and started working in the fashion industry.
Simon explained: "Victoria, coming out of the Spice Girls, being married to David Beckham, launched a solo career. She never felt comfortable. Even in the Spice Girls – it was great fun, she was in the world’s biggest group for two or three years – but she didn’t feel comfortable.
"She could sing pretty well, she could dance pretty well, but she always felt uncomfortable."
Although Victoria went on to enjoy some success as a solo artist, Simon revealed fashion has always been her true "passion".
Speaking at the Business Innovation Awards in Los Angeles, Simon said: "When the Spice Girls broke up, she had a few songs as a solo artist but she wasn’t happy and she said to me ‘Simon, I just don’t want to do music any more. What do you think I should do?’
"It was one of those things that you get this kind of clarity of vision. I’ve known Victoria since she was 18 and her passion in life was always clothes. She was called Posh Spice because she always wore the best dresses and she knew everything about clothes.
"I said ‘You should be in fashion. You should be a designer’."
Simon was named the Entrepreneur of the Year at the seventh annual Business Innovation Awards on account of his success in the music, television, sport and fashion industries.
As well as managing artists like the Spice Girls and Amy Winehouse, he also created ‘American Idol’ and has been named by TIME magazine as one of their 100 most influential people in the world.

Mel C pulls out of Spice Girls reunion?

Mel C has reportedly pulled out of the Spice Girls 20th anniversary reunion.
The girl group – Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell – were set to reunite despite fifth member Victoria Beckham’s refusal to take part but plans are in chaos now that Mel C has also pulled out.
A source told The Sun: "Mel C is out of the reunion for now. She has essentially left the band to focus on a more serious music career.
"She loves the girls but it just didn’t feel right for her to reunite with them at the moment.
"She has other priorities and obviously it was a bit of a problem that Victoria made it clear she wasn’t going to be part of the reunion."
Victoria has previously ruled herself out in order to focus on her fashion business but despite Mel’s recent decision, the other three members are said to be determined to mark the upcoming anniversary.
The insider said: "They are arranging a number of meetings which include the option for a tour, possibly with just the three of them or with other singers.
"There have even been the suggestions of a Spice Girls talent show. It would be an absolute TV sensation."

Tom Parker to invite Beckhams to his wedding

Tom Parker wants Victoria and David Beckham to come to his wedding.
The ‘Glad You Came’ hitmaker met the Beckhams when his band The Wanted performed at their son Romeo’s 10th birthday party in 2012 and would love for the retired soccer star and fashion designer – who also have Brooklyn, 17, Cruz, 11, and four-year-old Harper – to attend his forthcoming nuptials to fiancée Kelsey Hardwick.
Tom, 27, exclusively told BANG showbiz: "I’m definitely going to invite the Beckhams to my wedding. I love them. We did Romeo’s birthday a couple of years ago so that was such an unbelievable experience – they’re such a nice family so that would be cool if they could come. They’ll definitely be getting an invite. "
The hunky singer – who plans on getting married in 2017 – is a massive soccer fan and idolises the former England captain.
He added: "David Beckham is literally my idol. When I was growing up I used to love soccer, well I still do, but I used to buy all these soccer boots and I genuinely thought I was David Beckham."
Tom is planning on inviting lots of stars to his wedding including Justin Bieber – who shared the same manager Scooter Braun as his band – but he doubts the pop superstar will come.
He said: "Well, we were signed to the same management company and we all got really close when we signed there so, yeah, if he turns up that will be great. But I won’t be holding my breath with that one. "
