Victoria Beckham won’t do a triathlon because she would hate to get her hair wet.
While her close pals Tana and Gordon Ramsay are big fans of the multiple-stage competition including cycling, swimming and running, super-fit Victoria has ruled herself out.
Tana told Stella magazine: "Victoria is really fit but I couldn’t get her to do a triathlon because she’s never want to do the swimming and get her hair wet all the time. She’d be the first to admit that."
Some people have commented that Tana is turning into a clone of her pal after straightening her hair and adopting a new sleeker style, and Tana insists the pair laugh about it.
She said: "We both laugh our heads off about it. I don’t actually think I look like her. Yes, my hair has gone straighter because those curls have dropped out but it’s still wavy. And she will say ‘you have to get these shoes, they are amazing’. And I’ll do what she says. I take it as a huge compliment but we’re very different.
"For the most part we are friends because we have four kids the same age, really busy lives and the best times we have are on family holidays when it’s nothing smart or fancy, just hanging around in shorts and T-shirts with the kids."

Victoria Beckham says her husband David Beckham is the "best partner anybody can have".
The Spice Girls singer turned fashion designer says she and her retired soccer superstar spouse like to share every aspect of their lives and she loves the fact that David supports her in her career.
Speaking to Hashtaglegend.com, Victoria said: "David comes to my shows and David is my business partner. Everything we do, we do everything together. We really support each other … He’s the best partner anybody can have."
Although Victoria is obsessed with making her self-titled fashion label as successful as it can be, the 41-year-old brunette doesn’t bring her work home with her.
When relaxing with David, 40, and their four children – Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, four – Victoria prefers to learn what everyone has done with her day but if she wanted to talk shop then the former England captain would be happy to oblige
She said: "I tend not to talk too much about (work) when I get home because I’ve been working on it all day and there’s so many other things to catch up with regards to the children and what he’s doing."
Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Grace Moretz are "very much a couple". The 17-year-old model is reportedly back together with the 19-year-old actress after they enjoyed a nice meal with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and her mother Teri in Los Angeles over the weekend. A source told The Sun newspaper: "Chloe and Brooklyn are very much a couple. They were really comfortable getting their families together. Chloe kept stroking Brooklyn’s hair and putting her head on his shoulder and then he would do the same. "Victoria was making a huge effort with Chloe too. She sat chatting to her for ages and was clearly interested in finding out more about her life." Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 11, were also there for the meal at a posh restaurant on Sunset Boulevard. Meanwhile, ‘Kick Ass’ star Chloe seems to have changed her mind as she previously revealed she couldn’t "handle" a relationship at the moment. She shared: "I have no real plans. I don’t want anything right now. I can’t handle that right now. "I want to be with someone who’s adventurous and wants to go do something. Don’t take me to Nobu and get me nigiri. I’m OK. I can take myself to Nobu. I don’t need someone to take me to Nobu."
David Beckham has huge new ankle tattoo.
The 40-year-old retired soccer star already has around 40 inkings on his body and he has now unveiled his latest design, which took five hours to complete during a visit to the Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood.
He uploaded a photo of his etching, which depicts two classical figures running with cloth floating behind them, to his 21.1 million Instagram followers.
Alongside the image, he wrote: "Great new piece from Mark Mahoney at shamrock … Always nice to sit and listen to marks conversation for 5 hours whilst watching him work … True artist @shamrocksocialclub (sic)"
David has multiple tattoos that show his devotion to his family; children, Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, four, and wife Victoria Beckham.
In honor of daughter Harper he has the words "Pretty Lady" and a rose inked onto his skin. Recently, David had "99’" inscribed onto the little finger of his right hand to commemorate the year of his wedding to Victoria.
It was 1999 when he first went under the knife to get a permanent tribute to his son Brooklyn, who was born the same year.
Speaking previously about his tattoo obsession, he said: "The tattoos are a way of me expressing deeper feelings, about the things I care about and love. Am I done? Probably not.
"[I] think Victoria’s given up on telling me to stop now. She used to. She used to say, ‘Do you have to?’ But she knows it makes me happy."
Victoria Beckham’s spinach diet
Victoria Beckham only orders steamed spinach when she goes out for dinner.
The 41-year-old fashion designer has been slammed as "uptight" by Wolfgang Puck, though the chef loves it when her husband David Beckham visits his Los Angeles eatery CUT because he enjoys a steak and a chat.
He told heat magazine: "She just eats steamed vegetables. David is there with a steak and she’s there with vegetables. She’s uptight.
"Everything has to be right, she’s not interested in talking to anyone, but he’s very friendly and will talk to anyone. She has to put her face on, ‘It’s my game face’.
"She orders, saying, ‘I want some spinach, just a little touch of salt, not too much.’ "
Wolfgang went on to heap further praise on "chic and elegant" former soccer star David.
He said: "I know David very well. He comes to my restaurants when he’s in LA. He comes all the time and we talk and talk. He likes the steak.
"He looks so chic and elegant but he’s a very straight eater – nothing fancy. He comes with his family or with his manager, Simon Fuller."
Emma Bunton wants to mark the Spice Girls’ 20th anniversary with a gig at Wembley Stadium. The group reach the milestone later this year and the 40-year old singer hopes there will be a one-off celebration, but admits it is difficult to ensure she and former bandmates Mel B, Mel C, Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner are free at the same time. Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper she said of a one-off gig at Wembley: "Wouldn’t that be amazing? "Fingers crossed. That’s something we’d really love to do. "We adore each other. There’s so much we’ve been through. I would love to do something. "I think we’d all quite like to do something, but it really is figuring it out. We all have such different lives. Mel B lives in America. We’ve all got different managers." Since going their separate ways, Victoria has been hugely successful as a fashion designer and Emma couldn’t be more proud of her pal. She said: "When a friend does that well, it’s incredible. She’s just hilarious and I know exactly what she’s thinking just by looking at her, "I see pictures and I go, ‘I know what she’s thinking about!’ I’m very lucky because I know the fun, sarcastic, brilliant other side to her as well." The group were famous for their ‘Girl Power’ message and Emma – who has sons Beau, eight, and Tate, four, with fiance Jade Jones – is still following the mantra as she takes inspiration from her mother Pauline. She said: "For me, it started with seeing my mum going back to college at 40, starting karate at 40. She just kept growing and I’ve really fed off that. "I want to grow as much as she did and still is. She was my first role model. Jade is brilliant, it’s just we [girls] have had to push a bit harder. As girls we’ve pushed things forward."
The Wanted’s Tom Parker is engaged
The Wanted’s Tom Parker has got engaged.
The 27-year-old singer popped the question to his longtime lover Kelsey Hardwick, whom he has been dating since 2009, recently and certainly made sure he pulled out all the stops to ensure it was a proposal she’ll never forget.
He explained: "I feel like the happiest man in the world.
"There was a trail of rose petals leading to the TV where I’d set up a montage of all our pictures from the day we met until now. I was crying my eyes out at this point. Then at the end it said, ‘Here’s to the next chapter, turn around’, and when she turned around I got down on one knee."
But, despite his well-planned moment, the handsome star was so tearful that he struggled to get the special words out.
Speaking to HELLO! Magazine, he said: "I literally couldn’t get my words out, I was so overcome with emotion."
Meanwhile, the loved-up couple, who met seven years ago, are yet to set a date for their wedding but have already started working on the guest list and would like the Beckhams – including David, Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper – and Justin Bieber to attend their nuptials.
David Beckham hates being away from kids
David Beckham feels "physically ill" when he has to leave his children.
The 40-year-old retired soccer star – who has kids Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10, and Harper, four, with wife Victoria – admits he hasn’t yet got to grips with balancing his work and home life because he loves being around his family so much.
He said: "I get physically ill when I have to leave the kids now."
When he is at home, David can mostly be found watching ‘Frozen’ with his daughter or binge-viewing old episodes of ‘Friends’.
Though he retired in 2013, David admitted he misses his sport every day and sill considers a return to the game.
He told Britain’s GQ magazine: "I miss soccer every day. I don’t know whether it’s the athlete in me, or the passion I have for the game: I always think that I can step back on the field and play…
"You know, maybe I could play another year in the US. If I was still living in LA, I’d probably really seriously think about coming back for a year. But we’re living in London, and the kids are happy in the school…"
Though he and his fashion designer wife generate headlines wherever they go, David insists he no longer cares or worries about what is written about him.
He said: "I’m secure as a person, as a husband, as a dad. I’ve gone past the point of really worrying, caring."
Mel B: ‘Victoria can be a bit of a bitch’
Mel B says Victoria Beckham can be "a bit of a bitch".
While Mel praised fashion designer Victoria – who is married to soccer star David Beckham – as down to earth, she admitted her Spice Girls bandmate can sometimes be bitchy.
Speaking on the ‘Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss’ podcast, she said: "She’s very down to earth. She’s just a little bit of a bitch to people. But she has a great sense of humour [and all of the Spice Girls, herself included] can be bitches at some point."
Mel also praised Victoria as a hard worker and insisted that she and David deserve all of the success they have had.
She said: "They’ve worked so hard for it. Victoria and her fashion line: She eats, lives and breathes it. They deserve a lifestyle like that."
Meanwhile, Mel revealed that the Spice Girls have been talking about a reunion and she feels like it is getting "closer and closer".
She said: "It’s a never-ending question. The thing is we are in talks with each other, closely about this reunion. So until there’s something official to say there’s no point in saying anything. Until there’s tour dates to announce, tour dates, then there’s point in talking about it until it actually happens. I do feel it’s getting closer and closer."
Geri Horner says there ”has to be” a Spice Girls reunion.
The 43-year-old star – better known as Ginger Spice – attended the BRIT Awards in London on Wednesday night (02.24.16) and revealed that herself and Mel B had a chat about their plans for a reunion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band, which also includes Victoria Beckham, Mel C, and Emma Bunton.
Speaking to UK TV show ‘Lorraine’ on the red carpet at The O2, Geri, 43, said: ”There was a conversation this morning with Mel B and we were both saying there has to be something. I’d like something to happen.”
Mel B – known as Scary Spice when with the band – previously admitted she hopes all five girls will come together and perform on stage, but she doesn’t want to ”jinx it” as they are only ”in talks” about it.
She said: ”We’re definitely in talks, but as to what actually happens, we’ll see. We’re trying to figure it out right now.
”I don’t want to jinx myself, but I think it would be great if we got up on stage together. I’m kind of working on that.”
Mel thinks it’s amazing that the ‘Viva Forever’ hitmakers are all still such close friends after two decades and proves they are the ”poster children for girl power”.
She added: ”I think it’s great we’re still all friends 20 years on, and it just goes to show that we really are the poster children for girl power.
”We’re five women from different walks of life and we’ve worked together, we support each other, we respect each other and we love each other. That’s what women should do.”
