Kanye West deletes Instagram account

Kanye West has deleted his Instagram account.

Just one day after the star returned to the picture sharing account on Valentine’s Day (02.14.18) and spent nine hours posting pictures of famous couples, he abruptly deleted his profile again.

Kanye used his return to pay tribute to his wife, Kim Kardashian West.

His return post – which was also his profile picture – was not captioned but featured a simple white card with the words "Happy Valentines Day Babe (sic)" written in black on the cover.

He then shared pictures of largely-failed romances, including Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere, Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, and Johnny Depp and Kate Moss.

A number of stars featured in Kanye’s montage a number of times, with Pamela Anderson pictured with three former partners, Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, and Brett Michaels, Brad Pitt also landing a trio of photos, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, while he also shared pictures of Madonna with Sean Penn, Dennis Rodman – who was in another post with Carmen Electra – and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Some couples featured are still together, including Barack and Michelle Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi and David and Victoria Beckham.

Kanye also gave a touching shout out to his mother-in-law Kris Jenner, sharing her photo with her late ex-husband Robert Kardashian.

The ‘Only One’ hitmaker finished his posting spree with two pictures of himself and his wife – with whom he has children North, four, Saint, two, and four-week-old Chicago – that were simply captioned "Kimye".

However, the following day Kanye decided to once again delete his account on the photo sharing platform, which he previously left last May.

Spice Girls sign tour contracts

The Spice Girls have signed contracts for a number of reunion shows.

The quintet recently confirmed they were back together to work on unspecified projects, and though Victoria Beckham has insisted they are not going out on tour, it has now been revealed they have agreed legal documents to perform live again.

According to TMZ, Mel B signed the contract last Friday (09.02.18), and other members have too, and the documents give specific details for UK and US concerts, including the number and location of shows, and compensation details.

Sources told the website the ‘Stop’ hitmakers – which also include Geri Horner, Mel C and Emma Bunton – will perform a "limited number" of shows but are set to make a huge amount of money from a new range of merchandise.

Victoria, 43, played down the rumours surrounding the Spice Girls’ recent get together at her fashion show in New York, when she said: "I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour. It was so great to see the girls…

"There’s something so strong in the message of what the Spice Girls stood for. What is that in the future? What does that look like? We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming. But this [fashion] is what I do."

The ‘Spice Up Your Life’ singers are all busy working mothers and so a full reunion tour would be impossible to commit to. But promoters are reportedly offering the girls millions to perform just a few shows together.

Other ideas thought to be in the pipeline following their reunion lunch at Geri’s London home – their first meeting in six years – include a global TV talent show to find a new girlband, and the possibility of a Spice Girls record label to encourage new musicians who can carry on the Girl Power legacy.

They are also thought to be considering a children’s Spice TV show, possibly featuring their own kids. bvcx

Delta Goodrem begs Spice Girls to tour

Delta Goodrem has begged the Spice Girls to go ahead with a reunion tour.

Victoria Beckham recently rubbished hopes of a full reunion world tour, when she insisted that her recent lunch with former bandmates Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C did not mean they would be going on the road together.

But Delta tweeted: "To my beloved girlpower Spice girls – please stop playing with my heart!! One morning it’s a go then it’s a no 🙁 I and many others vote for a #TOUR! @OfficialMelB @victoriabeckham @EmmaBunton @MelanieCmusic @GeriHalliwell xo (sic)."

The singer and actress rose to fame in the Australian soap ‘Neighbours’ before launching a pop career and is now serving as a judge on the Australian version of ‘The Voice’.

When the possibility of a Spice Girls reunion was first reported, Delta tweeted that she was so delighted she could "run through the streets knocking on doors to tell people the Spice Girls are reuniting".

The Spice Girls recently all met for lunch at Geri’s house in London – the first time they had all been in the same room together for six years – sparking rumours of a reunion tour.

But Victoria, 43, said at fashion show in New York at the weekend: "I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour. It was so great to see the girls…"

It’s since been reported the ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers are still in talks to perform live together in a series of stand-alone shows around the world, instead of committing to a full tour.

Other ideas thought to be in the pipeline following their reunion lunch include a global TV talent show to find a new girlband.

There have also been rumours of a Spice Girls record label to encourage new musicians who can carry on their legacy.

Geri Horner had given up hope of Spice Girls reunion

Geri Horner had all but given up hope of a Spice Girls reunion.

The girl group – also made up of Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Mel C – confirmed last week they are reuniting to work on some "incredible new opportunities" together, but the 45-year-old singer didn’t expect such a day to come after they failed to re-team in 2016.

Speaking about the possibility of the band reforming for the 20th anniversary of their debut single ‘Wannabe’, Geri said: "We all pushed for it, like, ‘Come on, let’s try and make it happen.’ It didn’t.

"You get to a point where you go, ‘Do you know what, just let it go.’ And I was having a baby.

"I’d really sort of let it go. It’s funny, they say let things go and I really had.

"That’s when I decided to go into television. A BBC executive said, ‘We think you should do primetime entertainment.’ She really encouraged me to do it."

Geri – who has 12-month-old son Monty with husband Christian Horner, and 11-year-old daughter Bluebell from a previous relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi – admitted she has been in a "different mind frame" ever since she had kids, and is glad the whole group are reuniting together.

She added to The Sun newspaper: "When it finally came together the other day, we all came and sat around and went, ‘Maybe we should do something.’ And we all agreed.

"I think everyone goes through different stages in their life. I can’t speak for Victoria, but when you have children you just reflect.

"Who knows why but you get into different mind frames."

Last week, the ‘Spice Up Your Life’ stars insisted they will "embrace the original essence" of the group, who were known for regularly promoting messages of female empowerment.

In a joint statement, they said: "We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together.

"We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for the Spice Girls.

"The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together.

"We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of the Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations."

Spice Girls to launch record label

The Spice Girls are considering launching a Girl Power record label.

The quintet – which comprises Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Geri Horner and Mel C – confirmed last week they are to reunite for the first time since their appearance at the London Olympics in 2012 to work on unspecified "new projects".

And now it’s been revealed the ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers are thinking about launching a record label to launch new talent who will continue their Girl Power legacy.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "The girls all brought their ideas to the table and that included Mel C raising the prospect of a Spice Girls record label.

"It went down very well because they are all excited about backing up-and-coming talent, possibly even new girl bands.

"This reunion is all about securing the Spice Girls legacy, and their own company could be one way to do that."

The girls all met at Geri’s house in London last week to discuss plans for their reunion, and the get-together was such a success, a tour is now on the cards.

The insider added: "Initially the talk about this reunion was more about endorsements and TV shows.

"But after the meeting there is growing confidence about a full-scale tour, at the end of this year or early next year.

"Mel C still needs to be convinced but Victoria is on board for the moment. They’ve been in constant contact on WhatsApp and on the phone since the first meeting and are all genuinely excited."

Mel C, 44, said in a recent interview how important it was to her to pass on the ethos of Girl Power to a new generation.

She said: "We feel really positive about the Spice Girls legacy right now, because all the fans are women now. Some are parents, running their own businesses. Young girls are rediscovering the Spice Girls and it just feels like a really positive time, we need the girl power message more now than ever."

The Spice Girls burst onto the music scene with their debut single ‘Wannabe’ in 1996. Geri left the band in 1998 and in 2000 the rest of the group went their separate ways.

Victoria has gone on to become a successful fashion designer. All the other girls have had solo music careers, with Emma becoming a TV and radio presenter and Mel B becoming a judge on ‘The X Factor’ and ‘America’s Got Talent’.

They had a record-breaking reunion tour in 2007 and there have long since been rumours of a follow-up and briefly reunited for an appearance at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.

The last time all five were seen publicly together was for the opening night of Spice Girls musical ‘Viva Forever!’ in December 2012.

The production closed after only seven months, reportedly due to disappointing box office figures.

Emma Bunton eyes Spice Girls Brexit concert

Emma Bunton wants the Spice Girls to play a Brexit concert.

The girl group – which also includes Geri Horner, Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Mel C – are putting plans in place to reunite and Emma has revealed just what kind of gigs she is dreaming of.

During her appearance on Heart London Breakfast on Monday (05.02.18), her co-host Jamie Theakston said: "I want you guys on the roof of Buckingham Palace, waving that Union Jack … Some sort of Brexit concert, I don’t know. Wouldn’t that be awesome?"

And Emma agreed, adding: "Wouldn’t that be amazing."

Emma recently met up with her bandmates, where they sat reminiscing about the old times and also planning for the future.

She said: "We reminisced about the old times, we were talking about the kids, it was lovely. And then we all sat around Geri’s table and we got takeaway in, got sushi and some salads and drank tea and a little bit of prosecco, and it was just so lovely to see everyone. I loved it, really good fun."

And when asked if she knows what form the Spice Girls reunion is going to take, she added: "Not yet. The main thing was that we sat together and have gone, ‘Right, there’s things, there’s opportunities here, are we all in?’ So exciting things to come.

"What that is yet, we need another kind of sit down, because we were chatting for hours and then we were like, ‘Oh we’ve got to pick the kids up! Quick!’ It was hilarious because I was there and obviously got pictured coming out, lots of paparazzi and then the next minute I’m sitting in a church hall in Barnet and I’m waiting for my sons. He got his little certificate for his disco dancing!"

Tune in to the Heart London Breakfast Show with Jamie and Emma, weekdays from 6am – 9am, and catch Emma on Sundays on Heart from 7pm – 10pm.

Victoria Beckham teases ‘exciting’ times as they plot Spice Girls reunion

Victoria Beckham has teased "exciting" things ahead for The Spice Girls as they were pictured together for the first time in six years.

The girl group – which also includes Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C – all reunited on Friday (02.02.18) at Geri’s house, much to the excitement of their fans who flooded social media channels with support.

Captioning a picture of the five of them all together, Victoria wrote: "Love my girls!!! So many kisses!!! X Exciting x #friendshipneverends #girlpower (sic)"

It comes after it was revealed the 90s girl group are set for a full reunion after all of them reportedly agreed to come on board with the Simon Fuller-led reunion if Victoria was given assurances that she won’t have to sing.

A source said: "This is the pop reunion no one thought would ever happen again. But after a long period of negotiation Victoria agreed the time is right to work on new projects this year. It’s very exciting because she has always been adamant she wouldn’t go back. Victoria and Geri agreed it would be impossible to be part of a fully-fledged tour because of family and business commitments. Now that she’s a top designer Victoria is concerned about singing but she wants to make money to pump back into her business."

The Spice Girls were expected to reunite in the past but Victoria pulled out, followed by Mel C.

Revealing how she decided not to join a reunion in 2016 after her bandmate Victoria decided against it, Mel said: "I know there are people that want to see it. But there were various reasons … but the one thing that I couldn’t get away from was that, we did reunite as a five piece [for the Olympics] and it was so incredible, and for me we are like a jigsaw puzzle and if there’s a piece missing it’s not complete. We’re not a band of interchangeable parts. For me, it didn’t feel right."

David Beckham is moving to the US

David Beckham is moving back to the US without his family.

The 42-year-old retired soccer star – who currently lives in London – has revealed he’s jetting across the pond later this year and setting up home in Miami in order to fulfill his dreams of managing his own club.

Speaking at a press conference in Miami, Florida, David said: "I want to thank my family. Brooklyn and my wife Victoria, who is at home with the other kids.

"They’ve been through the good times and the bad times and I owe them everything."

While David will no doubt see a lot of his eldest son Brooklyn, 18, as he’s currently studying photographer at Parsons School of Design in New York, he’ll be living apart from his wife Victoria and their other children, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six.

The 43-year-old fashion designer will be living in London with the youngsters during school term time but will spend the summer holidays in Miami with David.

The hunk added: "Whenever they [my family] can, they’ll be coming over."

And, although the former Spice Girls singer will be caring for the children on her own, she’s looking forward to "spending much more time" in Miami throughout the year.

During the press conference, a video of Victoria was played and in the short clip, she said: "We can’t wait to be spending much more time in Miami."

Harper added: "Hi daddy, I can’t wait to see your first football match!"

The former England captain has spent four years trying to get his MLF franchise – which he part owns with Bolivian entrepreneur Marcelo Claure – off the ground.

Speaking on Miami’s Local 10 News station, he said: "It has been a process. It’s been painful at times. I think the fact that it has taken this long, the fact that it’s taken four years actually has worked as a positive.

"I’ve always believed in the project. That’s why, for me, I never gave up. I knew Miami was the city. I knew this was going to be special. There have been many (hurdles). I’m a persistent person and I don’t like to lose."

David Beckham reveals ‘painful’ struggle to launch his soccer team

David Beckham admits his quest to launch his own soccer team has been "painful".

The 42-year-old icon has been diligently working towards forming his side in Miami, Florida, for a number of years, but he’s confessed that the long-winded process has been tiresome at times.

David – who previously played for the Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer (MLS) – shared: "It’s been painful at times. I’m a persistent person. I don’t like to lose."

David and his business partners plan to fund the construction of a 25,000-seat stadium in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood.

The investment group have been forced to explore various different proposed sites for the new stadium – but David has insisted Overtown will definitely be the future home of MLS in Miami.

David told Channel 10 in Miami: "This is our site. This is a site we have paid for. This is a site we plan on using."

Despite this, David recently claimed that he and his wife, singer-turned-designer Victoria Beckham, are "saving the pennies" these days.

The world-famous couple already have millions of pounds to their name but instead of buying extravagant gifts for themselves, the Beckhams are determined to save for their children – Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper Seven, six.

David previously said: "We used to be very extravagant in what we’d buy each other. But we’re obviously saving the pennies now because we have so many children to be extravagant … So it’s the simple things, really."

Although the Beckhams have the riches to live an extravagant lifestyle, the retired soccer star – who played for the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid during his sports career – insisted that’s not his motivation.

He said: "It’s more about spending time together, going for a simple dinner together. Having a nice bottle of wine together."
