David Beckham to leave America?

David Beckham is planning to leave America.

The soccer star will reportedly be relocating with his wife Victoria and their children – Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, seven-year-old Cruz, and 16-month-old daughter Harper – very shortly, putting an end to his six-year career with his Los Angeles Galaxy team to focus on "one last challenge".

David said in a statement: "I’ve had an incredibly special time playing for the LA Galaxy. However, I wanted to experience one last challenge before the end of my playing career.

"I don’t see this as the end of my relationship with the league, as my ambition is to be part of the ownership structure in the future."

Speculation is rife that the 37-year-old star’s next move could be Australia, Paris, France, or even his native London, where former Spice Girls star Victoria could expand her fashion empire.

A source recently said: "London would suit Victoria because that is where her design studio is and, as a family, they love the energy there. But it would be a big move and lifestyle change for the children and David and Victoria aren’t sure they’re ready to make that sacrifice.

"Ultimately, David has to decide what he wants for his future and how that affects his family."

Victoria Beckham’s laid-back collection

Victoria Beckham’s latest collection for her contemporary line was inspired by her Los Angeles lifestyle.

The singer-turned-designer showcased her spring/summer 2013 for her Victoria, Victoria Beckham range at New York Fashion Week yesterday (11.09.12) and she says she wanted to reflect her more casual side.

Victoria – who lives in Los Angeles with soccer star husband David and their four children – said: "With this sportier approach and a laid-back ease these dresses represent everything I wanted to achieve with the line. I often get asked how living in LA has influenced my aesthetic and this season Californian street style has been a key inspiration.

"For me, that sense of nonchalance embraces the new fresh attitude to femininity I wanted to convey while staying true to the essence of the label."

A sunbleached palette and laidback vibe were evident in the collection of 60s-inspired dresses and prints included poppy florals and layered polka dots.

The dresses were not as tight-fitting as her more high end Victoria Beckham line and had a more daywear feel about them.

Victoria – who watched the show with 14-month-old daughter, Harper, sat on her lap – also said she wanted her sense of humor to come out in the collection.

She revealed: "This is my fun side. It’s what I wear for the other half of my life. I have four kids. I really do like to have fun."

Victoria Beckham open to fifth baby

Victoria Beckham is open to having another child.

The former Spice Girls star – who has children Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven, and 12-month-old Harper with husband David Beckham – admits juggling her family life with her fashion business can be tricky but she hasn’t ruled out expanding her brood even further.

Asked where she sees herself in five years, she said: "I’d like everybody to be healthy and happy. I’d like to be growing the business at a steady pace, and to be making more women feel empowered, beautiful, and confident.

"And I’d never say never about another baby. It’s a juggling act – a career, family, a husband who’s busy. But I’d never say never!"

Victoria also revealed she is a fan of steamy novel series ’50 Shades of Grey’ and while she has got her mum Jackie Adams to read the books, she is too embarrassed to discuss their content with her.

She told the new issue of America’s Glamour magazine: "I’m halfway through the second one. I even bought my mum the book! But every time she tries to engage in conversation about it, I kind of dodge the subject. I don’t really want to talk to my mother about S&M."

Spice Girls to auction iconic costumes

The Spice Girls are planning to auction some of their iconic costumes for charity.

The ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers are hoping to sell some of their outfits in aid of Save the Children and Children in Need at a gala event later this year.

Victoria said: ”I’ve got all my costumes still. I can’t wait for [my daughter] Harper to grow a little so she can have some.

”But the rest I’d like to put up for charity, I think it would be a fantastic thing to do.

”Everything we did at the time was great, it really was great.

”We watched a little video Geri put together and I think we were nearly all brought to tears.”

The sale won’t include Geri Halliwell’s iconic Union Jack dress as it is currently displayed at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Cafe but fans will be able to pick up garments such as Emma Bunton’s babydoll dresses, Mel C’s tracksuits and Mel B’s leopardprint catsuits.

One item Victoria will happily say goodbye to is the group’s infamous wedge trainers.

Geri said: ”She hated them – she wouldn’t wear them.”

Victoria joked: ”No, I didn’t, no really … I just didn’t want to wear them myself.”

Victoria Beckham planning lavish bash for Harper

Victoria Beckham is hiring pink rabbits for her daughter’s first birthday.

The fashion designer and her soccer star husband David Beckham are planning a lavish bash to mark Harper Seven turning one next month and the couple are pulling out all the stops for the occasion.

A source told Closer magazine: "Victoria’s spending around £50,000. The garden will be filled with big pink cuddly toys, pony rides, a bouncy castle, balloons and tons of cupcakes. It’ll be totally pink.

"It sounds odd, but she’s even hiring special dyed-pink rabbits.

"They haven’t had a house party since they got their Beverly Hills mansion totally renovated so they wanted a big celebration to show that off too."

The party was initially planned to be an intimate occasion but the plans rapidly escalated.

A source close to the couple – who also have sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – said: "The party will be before Harper’s actual birthday on 10 July, as on the day they’ll be in the UK where they’ll have a small celebration.

"It started off so simple with Victoria thinking it’d be cute to throw a party with all her friends. But with the excuse of a housewarming and Independence Day on July 4 coming up, it escalated into a proper showbiz bash.

"The guests will be all the Hollywood parents and kids – Victoria often has playdates with other celeb mums such as Selma Blair and Nicole Richie. And obviously, her best friend, Harper’s godmother Eva Longoria, will be there. Harper will get some amazing gifts."

David Beckham wants to be the best

David Beckham always wanted to be "the best".

The 37-year-old soccer star- who has four children, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, seven-year-old Cruz and 10-month-old Harper with wife Victoria – is determined to do well at whatever he tries his hand to and insists he never takes anything on in a half-hearted fashion.

He said: "Whatever I do, I want to be the best.

"I never do anything half-heartedly. I will continue to work hard and play hard and do everything I can to be successful whatever I do. I want to be the best. I think it’s a god way to be."

David and Victoria have an estimated joint fortune of around $290 million, but the sportsman insists their vast wealth is not a reason for them to retire, even though doing so would be "easy".

He added to Britain’s Elle magazine: "It would be easy to do that [retire] of course. It would be easy for me to retire or for Victoria to sit at home and be a wife and mum, but we’re still young. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t continue [to work]."

Eva Longoria thrilled to be Harper’s godmother

Eva Longoria is "thrilled" to be godmother to David and Victoria Beckham’s baby daughter.

The soccer star and the fashion designer will christen 10-month-old Harper later this year and have asked the ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress to play an important role in their little girl’s life.

Eva said: "Victoria asked me to be Harper’s godmother and of course I said yes. I’m absolutely thrilled. Harper is simply adorable."

David and Victoria – who also have sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, and seven-year-old Cruz together – will baptise Harper in a lavish ceremony at their UK home and guests are expected to include Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Will Smith.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "David and Victoria feel it’s important Harper is christened. And they wanted the ceremony in the UK."

In 2004, the couple – who are currently living in Los Angeles – christened their eldest sons Brooklyn and Romeo at their mansion in Hertfordshire, South East England, with Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish being made godfathers to the boys.

Victoria and Eva became close friends since the Beckhams moved to Los Angeles in 2007 and she recently described Harper as a "chunky monkey".

Victoria Beckham excited about new collection

Victoria Beckham can’t wait to wear her new collection.

The singer-turned-designer has launched a more affordable line – Victoria, Victoria Beckham – and loves all the pieces and is looking forward to donning some the outfits.

Speaking about a 3/4 length sleeve short dress, Victoria said: ”I love this dress, it’s a perfect weight for an English spring, I can’t wait to wear it and solve any mid-season problems.”

The mother-of-four is also a fan of her pink and black scalloped dress, telling Stylist magazine: ”This dress is so girly! I’d wear it with a high black shoe and a chain shoulder bag just to give it my own twist. But I think it would equally great with flats.”

The former Spice Girls star – who wowed the critics with eighth collection of high-end dresses for her Victoria Beckham line – looked her usual stylish self in calf-length grey checked dress, dark red cardigan and matching bag as she visited stores including Miu Miu and Prada.
