Talia Storm won’t date a’ boy’ like ex Brooklyn Beckham again

Talia Storm doesn’t want to date a "wee boy" like Brooklyn Beckham ever again.

The 19-year-old model was in a relationship with the 18-year-old aspiring photographer – whose parents are retired soccer star David Beckham and Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham – back in 2014 but split in a less than amicable way.

Talia has admitted she’d never want to romance Brooklyn again and is now on the lookout for a "tall, dark, handsome man" instead.

Speaking to New! magazine, she said: "I’m definitely looking for a man now! I’ve always gone for boys before, but I want a tall, dark, handsome man, not a wee boy."

And blonde star thinks she’d be better suited to a man who has "worked" his way up in the industry instead of someone who landed in the spotlight – in what could be interpreted as a sly dig at her former beau, who grew up in the public eye because of his successful parents.

She explained: "I’m much more attracted to someone ambitious, who’s worked their way up and is self-made. Every single break I’ve ever got, I feel like I’ve done it myself."

And, although she loved his famous family, Talia has realized she would rather date someone who’s not in the public eye because she struggled with the scrutiny and being followed around by a security guard whenever they went out and about in public.

She said: "They’re a lovely family. I hate commenting on it because I want to prove I’m so much more than Brooklyn Beckham’s ex – it gets so exhausting after a while. It was very much in the public eye and that was a lot for a young girl. We’d go to Covent Garden and we’d have a security guard with us. I didn’t realize at the time but now I definitely don’t want that. I’d rather find someone who’s the complete opposite of that."

Prior to dating Talia, Brooklyn was in a relationship with Chloe Grace Moretz, 20, and then after breaking it off with the blonde model he rekindled with the actress.

They then split again in 2016 before getting back together last year.

Geri Horner’s garlic cloves sandwiches

Geri Horner eats garlic cloves sandwiches when she feels unwell.

The former Spice Girls star – who has 12-month-old son Monty with husband Christian Horner and 11-year-old daughter Bluebell from a previous relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi – chows down on the seasoning neat or crushed, and adds a bit of honey.

She said: "I crush up three cloves with honey and put it in a sandwich."

If the cloves don’t revitalise Geri then the 45-year-old star downs apple cider vinegar mixed with bicarbonate of soda.

She added: "It increases the alkaline levels in the body."

Geri is best known for being a big part of the ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers but admits there are no plans for the group – Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Mel C – to reunite and tour again, although she still keeps in contact with her former bandmates.

She said: "As far as another tour happening, there are no plans. Funnily enough, even though I’m the one who left the Spice Girls, I’m always the one talking to everyone. I’m like Woody from ‘Toy Story’, keeping everyone together.

"I spoke to Emma this morning and texted Mel C and Mel B yesterday, and I sent a message to Victoria a few days ago.

"They are still my family. We were a pack, which is probably why none of us at that time suffered from the sort of sexual abuse that is being talked about now. We looked out for each other.

"I care about all of them. I’m there for whatever anyone is going through, and I’m always open to doing something with the girls, but there are no plans at the moment."

The ‘Mi Chico Latino’ hitmaker has admitted the death of her pal George Michael – who passed away in December 2016 aged 53 – has "showed" her that her days as a solo performer could be over, too.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine, she added: "My plan was to do an album, but after George died I worked with all his musicians to make that one single and two things happened to me.

"It liberated me from the grief I felt for the kindest man in the world, who was such a great friend to me, and it showed me that going out there, as a performer in a music industry that has changed so much since I was last in it, wasn’t right for me."

David Beckham ‘saving pennies’ now

David and Victoria Beckham are "saving the pennies" now.

The couple may have millions of pounds to their name but instead of buying extravagant gifts for themselves, they are saving all they can for their children – Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six.

He said: "We used to be very extravagant in what we’d buy each other. But we’re obviously saving the pennies now because we have so many children to be extravagant … So it’s the simple things, really. It’s more about spending time together, going for a simple dinner together. Having a nice bottle of wine together."

And their love of a bottle of wine stems from David’s passion for the alcoholic drink.

He added to ES magazine: "Victoria didn’t really drink wine up until very recently so she has all of a sudden discovered my passion. Well she went through a stage of drinking a nice Blue Nun and a little bit of Lambrusco but now it’s changed. I’ve introduced her to good, decent wine. I love Californian reds. I love the buttery-ness of Burgundy. Montrachet, I love. Cheval Blanc is one of my favourites."

David and Victoria may have cut down the spending on themselves but a source previously claimed they splashed out £60,000 on a new closet in their Cotswolds home.

The source shared: "The room everyone is talking about at the new pad is the walk-in underwear room. Victoria has a designer wardrobe to the left of the bedroom for her clothes, another one for her shoes and another for her bags. Then, to the right of the room, is the underwear and nightwear ‘chamber’. Victoria signed off the budget to get it designed to perfection. It comes with all mod cons including his and her pyjamas embroidered with their initials and hundreds of pairs of their favourite underwear and nightwear brands. The kids have already been warned it’s a ‘no-go zone’ and there’s even a security keypad at the door to their bedroom area."

The full interview appears in this week’s issue of ES Magazine, out January 18.

Mel C: Girl Power was result of sexism

Mel C says "girl power" was created by the sexism the Spice Girls encountered in the music business in the 90s.

The 44-year-old star was part of the ‘Wannabe’ group alongside Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner [Née Halliwell], and says they created their famous slogan of empowerment in the 90s in reaction to the discrimination they experienced, which included being snubbed from being cover stars on magazines.

She said: "Girl power was something that we never intended. When we started we were a pop group and we just wanted to sing and be famous and travel the world and we never really thought about that side of things at all. But, as soon as we were heading into the music industry, we started to be faced with some sexism. We were told girls don’t sell. We would go into magazines and editors would tell us, ‘We can’t put you on the cover because we won’t sell enough magazines that week.’ "

The ‘Northern Star’ hitmaker – who has gone onto have solo success – realized as soon as they started their campaign for equality as a group that it would apply to all females.

She said: "That really made us have a bee in our bonnets and that’s when we started talking about Girl Power. We realized we had something really important to say. It gave us even more determination to succeed because we realized very early on, we weren’t just doing it for ourselves and each other, we were doing it for girls. Being told we couldn’t do something was like a red rag to a bull to the Spice Girls."

However, Mel says things are changing and that there are more and more female pop stars taking over the world than ever before, which she believes the ‘Say You’ll Be There’ hitmakers can take some credit for.

Speaking to Music Week editor Mark Sutherland at AIM’s annual Women In Music event, she shared: "The Spice Girls did have incredible success and made a lot of people lots of money – and that’s a funny old thing for changing people’s minds.

"In the last decade or so, the majority of the biggest artists in the world have been women. That’s never happened before. I like to think that the success of the Spice Girls opened doors for that to happen."

David Beckham rules out Botox

David Beckham would "never" have Botox on his face or his butt.

The 42-year-old former footballer insists he wants to "grow old gracefully" and doesn’t have "any interest" in having cosmetic injections into his face or his derriere to enhance his looks.

He said: "Cosmetic surgery might be OK for some people; I’m not saying it’s bad. But for me, personally, never. Never.

"I have no interest in doing anything like that, ever. Growing old gracefully is my thing. I would never inject my face. Or my backside, obviously."

The ex-England captain was shocked to see a comment on his Instagram once, in which a fan presumed he’d had Botox.

He said: "I’ve got so many lines and wrinkles, how can someone think that?"

One treatment David – who has four kids, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and seven-year-old Harper, with Victoria Beckham – did once undergo was eyebrow plucking, but he has vowed never to do so again after a bad experience.

He explained: "I didn’t do it, it was done by someone else. They were like flying all over the place.

"But they took too much off one of my eyebrows, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, my eyebrows are not masculine any more.’ They were thin.

"So that’s one thing – I don’t touch my eyebrows. I let them grow naturally."

While David has vowed he wouldn’t go under the knife for cosmetic treatment in his old age, he has become more "emotional" the more birthdays he’s celebrated, admitting he has been known to shed to tear while watching sitcom ‘Friends’.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard’s ES Magazine, he added: "I could be watching an episode of ‘Friends’ and I would get emotional.

"When you have kids you become more emotional as a person.

"Anything that relates to me – family, the kids – that’s always something I’m going to get emotional about. I cried when they were born."

Victoria Beckham: I don’t worry about criticism

Victoria Beckham has stopped caring about what people think of her.

The 43-year-old star has spent almost all of her adult life in the spotlight and Victoria has admitted she’s now reached a stage in her career when she no longer frets about what people are saying about her.

Victoria – who first found international fame as part of the Spice Girls – explained: "I have grown up in public since I was 19, my days of worrying about what people think, have been left behind."

The brunette beauty – who is married to retired soccer star David Beckham – has established herself as one of the world’s best-known fashion designers over recent years.

But Victoria admits she’s always been aware that her history as a pop star could have undermined her ambitions.

Of her new career, Victoria – whose image appears on the front cover of Vogue Spain magazine – told the publication: "I was always aware that people would have previous conceptions of my brand just because I having been part of the Spice Girls and for being married to a soccer player.

"That’s why it was so important the product spoke for itself. And it did, from the beginning."

Despite fan pressure, Victoria has persistently resisted calls for her to reunite with her former bandmates.

But the designer has revealed she’s maintained a good relationship with the rest of the group, which also included Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.

Victoria – who has sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old daughter Harper Seven – said: "I’m still talking to all the Spice Girls and I’m very proud of what we achieved together. I love the Spice Girls’ music and I think I’ll always like it.

"I loved acting and singing, but all that happened at a time when I did not have the same professional commitments as today. And I did not have children.

"It would be very difficult for me to do it now. I must be home for the children and I also have an office to go to."

David Beckham relies on face masks to stay young

David Beckham loves to wear the "occasional face mask".

The retired soccer star has revealed he uses the skin care treatment to protect his enviably handsome appearance, admitting it makes him "feel nice."

David shared: "One thing I do love is a face mask. Which I do in private, and definitely don’t put on Instagram!

"You know, getting in bed, putting the telly on, and putting a face mask on. When you’ve had a rough day, it makes you feel nice."

David – who has sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12, as well as daughter Harper Seven, six, with his wife Victoria – explained that due to his parenting commitments, he isn’t able to spend lots of time grooming himself in the morning.

As a result, David has a very simple approach to his beauty regimen.

He told the American edition of Esquire magazine: "I haven’t got an hour to spend in the morning on my complexion. I have four kids. I want it simple. I get up, shower, sometimes cleanse depending on what I did the night before.

"I moisturise always; I use some eye cream and some hand cream. Hair, I just get out of the shower and brush some product in. I do like a thickening shampoo. When you get to a certain age, it can help. None of this is groundbreaking, but it’s the essentials: exactly what you need. I take moisturiser with me everywhere. I use it mornings, afternoons, evenings."

David, 42, has created a new men’s grooming line of his own called House 99.

And he’s revealed he relies on some of his own products to keep his beard in tip-top condition.

The London-born star explained: "I take moisturiser with me everywhere. I use it mornings, afternoons, evenings. And I wanted beard oil in the range, because I’ve always got a bit of scruff.

"I remember Victoria turning to me one day and saying, ‘Your beard is really rough, and it doesn’t smell so good.’ And I’m a clean person!

"So this oil softens the beard and smells great. I’m most proud of the tattoo body moisturiser. I have one or two tattoos – just one or two – and I like them to look good."

Mel B reaching out to Victoria Beckham for Spice Girls reunion

Mel B is reportedly hoping to make up with Victoria Beckham in a bid to persuade her to take part in a Spice Girls reunion.

The 42-year-old Spice Girl recently rekindled her relationship with her family following her split from ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, and according to the New York Daily News she is now hoping to build bridges with her former bandmates as well.

A source claims ‘Scary Spice’ Mel is trying to organize a reunion dinner for all five Spice Girls, including ‘Posh Spice’ Victoria, despite years of tension between the pair.

The insider said: "The first thing Mel needs to do is clear the air and get their friendship back on track. They need to mend fences and work through their tension, which means a lot of Mel eating humble pie. The notion of performing together is totally out of the question for Victoria, but other projects could work at this time."

Mel hopes to persuade the fashion designer to "forgive and forget" so that the band can reunite to mark their 25th anniversary in 2019.

The former ‘X Factor’ judge has recently undergone a bitter divorce battle with producer Stephen which finally ended with Me agreeing to pay her ex around £180,000, including legal fees, spousal support, a share from co-owned business and their house sale.

And Mel thinks a Spice Girls reunion could help fund her expensive divorce.

The source said: "Mel feels a Spice Girls reunion over the next couple of years, along with lucrative TV deals and endorsement will help recoup her payout to Belafonte."

It has been reported that all five Spice Girls – including ‘Sporty Spice’ Mel C, ‘Ginger Spice’ Geri Horner, ‘Baby Spice’ Emma Bunton and Victoria have agreed to take part in a TV documentary in 2018.

But when asked about a reunion in November 2017 on UK TV show ‘This Morning’, Victoria said: "It’s not happening. At some point you have to know that was great … Girl power is still out there, and I still believe in it. But I won’t be slipping into a PVC catsuit any time soon."

The Vamps want Cruz Beckham duet

The Vamps want to collaborate with Cruz Beckham.

The ‘Can We Dance’ hitmakers – comprising James McVey, Brad Simpson, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans – are friends with the aspiring singer’s older brother, Brooklyn Beckham, and have told the ‘If Every Day was Christmas’ singer they will be on hand if he needs help or advice, not to mention a studio session together.

Asked if they would mentor 11-year-old Cruz, James said: "That would be great I said to him in the past it would be good to do stuff.

"I think it’s cool that he is really working on it. I’ve seen a few things on his Instagram and he’s really good.

"It’s nice that he is playing the guitar from the start and I really admire that. I think it’s definitely someone to watch for the future. I’d love to do some stuff with him."

But The Vamps aren’t the only people who want to help Cruz, as Simon Cowell has previously admitted he’d love to sign the youngster to his record label.

He said: "Get him in and we’ll sign him.

"I met them when they were younger and I have to say they are really incredible kids.

"They could have been really spoilt but they weren’t – they were really funny when they came down to one of the shows.

"I know the Beckhams get criticised for being in the public eye but if you’re in the public eye your kids are going to be too."

Fashion designer Victoria, 42, has expressed her pride in her children, saying that they are "hard-working" and that she couldn’t ask for more.

She said: "You don’t have a rule book when you have a child. You just do the best that you can and I think the kids are doing a pretty good job.

"They’re well-mannered, hard-working, they’re fun and they’re happy kids. So what more can you ask for?"

Brooklyn Beckham’s tattoo tribute

Brooklyn Beckham’s latest tattoo is a tribute to his siblings.

The 18-year-old star – who has brothers Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12, and six-year-old sister Harper – has taken to Instagram to show off his latest inking, the numbers "02 05 11", which are believed to refer to his family’s birth years.

While the photography student didn’t caption the snap with anything, he tagged his tattoo artist, Mr. K, of New York City tattoo parlour Bang Bang.

But eagle-eyed fans were quick to speculate that his inking could refer to his siblings’ birth years because Romeo was born in 2002, Cruz in 2005 and Harper in 2011.

It’s not the first time Brooklyn has been inked. The son of David and Victoria Beckham had a compass etched onto his lower left arm earlier this year.

He shared a picture of the tat and tagged the renowned artist Dr Woo, simply writing: "Thanks mate."

Brooklyn had two tattoos done shortly after he turned 18 in March.

In April, Brooklyn got his first inking, an image of a Native American chief, inscribed onto his forearm at the Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood, by the legendary tattoo artist Mark Mahoney.

Brooklyn wrote: "Honoured to have my first tattoo done by dads friend Mark Mahoney(sic)", and added: "Thank you so much Mark x just like dads.(sic)"

He also has a camera inked on his upper left arm, a nod to his passion of photography.

While Brooklyn’s father David has tattoos over a lot of his body, the former footballer is "sure" his son will regret some of his inkings.

He recently said: "Thankfully I don’t feel I’ve made any with my tattoos. My son’s started and I’m sure he’ll make mistakes. But it’s part and parcel of life and being creative. That’s something you can’t stop someone doing, it holds them back."
