Mr. Blackwell’s Worst-Dressed List

The fashion critic released his 48th annual worst-dressed list and Beckham, also known as Posh Spice, was described as a “skinny-mini monstrosity”. Amy Winehouse was in the number two position since, as Blackwell explained, she is a “part 50’s carhop horror”.  Mary-Kate Olsen "resembles a tattered toothpick-trapped in a hurricane”, stated Blackwell who placed Olsen in third position.

Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Alison Arngrim all made it on the list of the top ten worst-dressed women for 2007.

Blackwell explained his criticisms. “Let it be said, however, that my criticisms are based purely on their fashion flaws — I’m sure they’re all wonderful people beneath the deluge of dreck they drape themselves in.”

Mel C Celebrates Her Birthday on Stage

According to FemaleFirst, the singer is very excited about the idea of being on stage at O2 Arena in London with her group members Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell, for this special day.

The star expressed, "I’m really looking forward to the show on the 12th because it’s my birthday and I’ve never performed on my birthday before. I can’t think of a better way to spend the evening!"

Mel C is turning 34, and is the only Spice Girl that does not have any children.

Victoria Beckham’s Blacklist

According to FemaleFirst, Beckham made a list of enemies that are banned from the concerts the Spice Girls are doing as part of their reunion tour.

The 33-year-old singer, who is in the midst of a series of 17 concerts at O2 arena in London, compiled a list of stars that she has had difficulties with in the past. This list has names such as Jordan and her husband Peter André, singer Lily Allen, Sophie Ellis Bextor, television star Denise Van Outen, as well as comedian Graham Norton.

The Spice Girls Reward a Fan

According to a report by FemaleFirst, the Spice Girls are thanking a fan for returning a bracelet belonging to Mel B after it flew into the audience during a show in London on Tuesday (December 18).

Victoria Beckham personally thanked the young man, who is known only as ‘David’, for returning the jewellery.  She also revealed that all five girls, Emma Bunton, Mel C, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, and herself, will spend time with him before one of their 2008 shows.

Beckham wrote on the group’s website, "Mel B lost her bracelet when it flew off into the audience during the show on Tuesday night and we want to say a big thank you to David who picked it up and contacted our management company to tell us that he had it. We’re really grateful to him for being so honest and we’ll be meeting up with him before one of our concerts in January to thank him in person."

A Survey About the Clothing of the Stars

Victoria Beckham and Sienna Miller knocked Kate Moss out of her normal place at the top as the two celebrities with wardrobes that people would most want to own.  Moss was ranked third on the list that also included Colleen McLoughlin.

Jodie Marsh was named as the one with the wardrobe that people would most not want to own.

Last September, People magazine named the most elegant stars.  Among the names at the top were Mrs. Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Beyonce Knowles, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Biel, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, Gwen Stefani and Ali Larter.

Victoria Beckham Removes Breast Implants

Beckham decided not to take any chances with her breast implants. She did not want unexpected incidents such as the one where Janet Jackson exposed her breasts at the Superbowl, therefore, Posh had the implants removed.

The Spice Girls are presently touring and are wearing costumes by Roberto Cavalli that are so tight that there could be technical problems.

A source revealed, "There is speculation she had her implants taken out for the tour so she can fit into the costumes without the risk of them falling out during some of the more energetic routines."

The 33-year-old British singer had always denied having had plastic surgery. In 2005, she admitted that she did have breast implants.

Beckham is the only Spice Girl that does not do any solos in concert. She explained, "I’m no Mariah Carey, but I can sing. It became very obvious from the start that I was never going to be the best singer or the best dancer or the best actress. I was never a ‘natural.’ You know, I’ve never been that good at anything, to be completely honest."

David Beckham Gives His Spice Girl a Gift

The Spice Girls did their first concert in Vancouver yesterday. The group has reunited and is doing a world tour. David Beckham gave his wife, Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice, a bracelet just before going on stage to wish her luck.

The soccer player took a flight from New Zealand because he really wanted to be with his wife for her first concert. He surprised Posh Spice who told the Vancouver Sun, "David feels like he’s married to all five of us. I’m nervous about what he’s going to think about the show."

According to the Vancouver Province, the concert was a mix of a fashion show, disco dancing, and a street party in San Francisco.

Victoria Beckham Goes Nude for Marc Jacobs

The Spice Girl has signed a contract to promote the spring/summer 2008 collection from Marc Jacobs.  The creator of the American brand has convinced Beckham to drop her clothes for a publicity campaign which will also provide aid to cancer research.

A source told the Daily Mirror, "Victoria loves Marc’s work but she wasn’t entirely comfortable with getting naked."

It seems that the good cause associated with the campaign convinced the star to participate.  "Marc went all-out to persuade her.  And when she heard about what a great cause it was she knew she just couldn’t turn it down. The picture she and Marc have chosen is amazing – sexy but tasteful."

Victoria follows Julianne Moore, Dita Von Teese and Naomi Campbell, who participated in the 2006 campaign.

Chicken Pox Meets the Spice Girls

Bluebell, the 18 month-old daughter of Geri Halliwell, caused a bit of commotion among the British group after she contracted chicken pox.  The baby, who is accompanying her mother on the Spice Girls reunion tour, is now in England.  Her mother hopes that she won’t infect the other members of the group.

A source told Britian’s The Sun, "Chicken pox is very contagious and when Geri noticed the spots on Bluebell she panicked and warned the rest of the girls."

The children of the other Spice Girls often play with Bluebell, and it is possible that they have contracted the virus already.  The source added, "And it’s not only them who are at risk. Bluebell has played a lot with Victoria’s sons Cruz and Romeo lately. Mel B’s baby Angel could get the bug too, and she is only eight months old."

Victoria Beckham Is Nervous

The singer will be back on stage with her former colleagues, Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Mel B, in Vancouver for the first concert of their reunion tour.

However, soccer star David Beckham will not be at the first show because his wife will be too nervous, according to FemaleFirst.  David said, "One minute Victoria is saying she wants me there and then it’s, ‘No, don’t come to the first show, as we’ll all be too nervous.’"

Beckham added, "But I think I’ll be at the show a couple of days later in San Jose and have the boys with me. And I know Victoria will ring me as soon as the first show ends."

Although David won’t be watching the first show, he will be with his wife for the entire tour.
