Geri Horner done with pop stardom?

Geri Horner has "moved on" from being a pop star.

The 45-year-old former Spice Girls singer – who has daughter Bluebell, 11, from a past relationship and nine-month-old son Monty with her husband Christian Horner, as well as being stepmother to his four-year-old daughter Olivia – recently made her chart comeback with George Michael tribute single ‘Angel in Chains’ but she didn’t enjoy having to perform the track live and she doesn’t think a music career is very compatible with raising a family.

In an interview with the new issue of RED She said: "I’ve moved on from being a pop star … Am I prepared to do gigs? I performed at 1.30am one night, got in at 4.30am in the morning and Bluebell woke me at 8.30am wanting her mum. I’m not sure that lifestyle is conducive to where I am right now."

Instead, Geri is keen to work on more TV shows, following her guest presenting stint on UK TV show ‘This Morning’.

She said: "I think it’s time to throw my hat in the ring."

However, one thing she won’t rule out is another Spice Girls reunion after a recent attempt to get the group back together fell apart when Victoria Beckham and Mel C declined to join her, Emma Bunton and Mel B.

She said: "I really pushed to get everyone back together. It got to the point where I just had to let it go. I still love the girls, and there are other bits and bobs in the pipeline."

The ‘Look At Me’ singer quit the group in March 2003 but admitted it took her a "long time" to adjust to not being in the band any more.

She said: "I found it really hard to let it go. It was weird to have the silence. It took me a long time to adjust emotionally. Your early 20s is a very shaping era, very defining. It didn’t come to a complete stop. I did solo work, but I missed being part of something. I always loved the we-are-one feeling."

Eva Longoria breaks leg

Eva Longoria has broken her leg.

The former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star was spotted with a mystery boot on last week and it has now been revealed she suffered the injury while on holiday in Spain, and doctors decided she needed the leg brace to help her bone heal.

Sources close to the 42-year-old actress told The Blast she recently aggravated some of the tendons around the bone.

With the raven-haired beauty set to do some directing work on ‘The Mick’ and ‘LA>Vegas’, she was advised to wear the boot to aid her recovery.

Despite the inconvenience such a leg brace might cause, she is said to be planning to keep working through the injury.

Eva was spotted wearing the medical footwear at a Los Angeles launch party last week alongside her pal Victoria Beckham, who made a cheeky dig at her friend’s new look.

Alongside a picture of the pair sitting down, she wrote the Instagram caption: "Nice boot!! Love u @evalongoria X #fashionforward (sic)"

Last month, Eva reunited with her fellow ‘Desperate Housewives’ co-star and pal Felicity Huffman on the red carpet for her Eva Longoria Foundation annual dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills – but she wasn’t wearing the boot then.

Praising her friend, Felicity said at the time: "I don’t think I’m alone in adoring Eva. I think to know Eva is to adore her.

"She has an inner light that shines out. All she cares about is helping people and lifting up the world and she’s a great friend.

"And she’s stayed real throughout this whole thing, she’s a force of nature and she’s still the girl next door."

Victoria Beckham chews coffee beans on nights out

Victoria Beckham chews coffee beans on nights out to avoid alcohol.

The 43-year-old fashion designer has taken to chowing down on coffee plant seeds instead of downing a drink when she is out and about with pals, but her eldest son, Brooklyn, 18, is said to not be too keen on the technique.

A source said: "Brooklyn’s really isn’t a fan. In fact, he’s pretty disgusted by it.

"Victoria will quite happily chew coffee beans if tempted to have a drink while socializing."

Victoria – who is known to enjoy a tipple of tequila – is said to have developed a taste for coffee beans to try to avoid hangovers.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: "She wants to remain fresh in mornings and only truly lets her hair down on significant occasions."

The former Spice Girls star’s penchant for coffee beans is not the only healthy technique she tries.

Victoria enjoys two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar – which some studies have shown can help with weight loss and boost a person’s immune system – on an empty stomach every morning.

Captioning a picture of her breakfast drink, she wrote: "Two tbsp first thing on an empty tummy! X (sic)"

What’s more, the ‘Spice Up Your Life’ hitmaker recently revealed she gives her kids, Brooklyn, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old daughter Harper – who she shares with husband David Beckham – a post-school snack of pumpkin seeds and pine nuts in liquid soy protein.

She posted a picture of the seeds and a bottle of Liquid Aminos, a gluten-free alternative for soy sauce, and wrote: "Seeds doused in organic Aminos! Grilled until crispy! After school snack! (sic)"

David Beckham nets more than £1m a month

David Beckham earns more than £1 million a month.

The former footballer – who hung up his boots from the beautiful game four years ago – is one of the world’s highest-earning retired athletes thanks to his image rights company, Footwork Productions Ltd, which reportedly scores him a staggering £35,000 a day.

According to The Sun newspaper, the 42-year-old star pocketed £12.7 million last year thanks to deals with the likes of H&M, Adidas and Haig Club whisky.

In the past five years, the former England football captain – who is estimated to be worth around £165 million – is said to have netted dividends of around £45 million.

David and wife Victoria – who have children Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old Harper – recently splashed out £6 million on a countryside mansion in Oxfordshire, south west England, and they are now spending thousands to build a rural retreat in the grounds.

The showbiz power couple are forking out for a two-tiered outdoor space which will include an orchard containing 23 different types of tree.

David will also be able to try out a whole different ball game after he was granted planning permission for a 60ft croquet lawn, and the outdoor space will feature two vegetable patches and a natural swimming pool within a courtyard.

In May, the ex-Manchester United star was said to be planning to purchase an island for Victoria to mark their 20th anniversary.

David is said to have eyed up the 250-acre island of Bird Cay, in the South Berry Islands of Nassau, which could set him back as much as £7 million.

A source said at the time: "The Beckhams, particularly Posh, crave normality for their family times. Photos of Victoria in her bikini are incredibly rare because she is now very conscious about her body.

"So David wanted to give her that gift of privacy to mark two decades since they first started dating, a place where she can be totally relaxed.

"They love being on Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island, so for David this was the logical next step. The Caribbean Islands are incredible, so they really are spoilt for choice, but Bird Cay is looking like the one."

David Beckham gives Harper first football lesson

David Beckham has given his daughter her first football lesson.

The former England football captain has shared two clips on Instagram of him giving six-year-old Harper some soccer tips, and he seemed to be mightily impressed with her ball skills.

In one of the clips, David was seen walking hand-in-hand with the youngster as they kicked a football to each other before embracing.

He tagged the video: "Someone’s ready for her first football lesson"

The other video saw the former England captain throwing the ball up to Harper as she volleyed it back to him.

David was clearly impressed with what he saw from his daughter as he captioned that clip: "Oh My (sic)"

But it’s not the first time Harper has kicked a football as David revealed back in 2015 that then then-three year old loved playing soccer with her big brothers.

He told BANG Showbiz: "Harper’s skills are coming on pretty well. We’ll see if she wants to follow in my footsteps or not, she loves playing it with the boys."

David and wife Victoria – who also have sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12 – gave Harper the middle name Seven after the number he wore on his back during successful spells with Manchester United and England.

Brooklyn was a prospect at Arsenal’s youth academy along with his brothers, but he wasn’t offered a scholarship to continue in 2015.

What’s more, in December 2015, David revealed Romeo had told him he didn’t want to play football professionally either.

He said: "The other day Romeo turned around to me and said he didn’t want to play football anymore. Part of me was devastated but part of me was relieved too."

It is not known if Cruz Beckham wants to pursue a career in football but last year he released a Christmas single, ‘If Everyday was Christmas’.

David and Victoria Beckham ‘spending thousands on rural retreat’

David and Victoria Beckham are spending thousands building an intruder-proof fortress garden in the grounds of their mansion.

The showbiz power couple are constructing a two-tiered rural retreat outdoor space at their new £6 million Oxfordshire home in south west England, and the pair are forking out plenty of cash on their orchard, which will feature 23 different types of tree.

David will hire a team of gardeners who will spend three days a week looking after the trees, including nine apple trees, eight cherry trees, and a plum tree, which could be ideal if their celebrity chef pal Gordon Ramsay fancied popping round to cook up an apple crumble.

According to Mail Online, the Landscape Design Statement says: "The proposed planting design aims to tie in with the surrounding landscape, using many native wildflowers interspersed amongst grasses… the materials used across the site will be sensitive to the heritage nature of the property, reflective of what is on site and in the surrounding vernacular."

David is known for his ball skills having previously captained the England soccer side, but he will be able to practice a whole new ball game soon because he has been granted planning permission for a 60ft croquet lawn.

What’s more, the Beckhams’ outdoor space will feature two vegetable patches and a natural swimming pool within a courtyard to ensure it will not be spotted from the road.

Marcus Barnett, a Chelsea Flower Show-winning gardener, has been enlisted to transform the plush pad’s outside area.

He will create two gardens, one containing wild grass surrounded by a massive hedge and another where the natural pool will live.

The outdoor space will no doubt go down well with the Beckhams’ kids, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old Harper, who have been known to enjoy a game of football now and then.

Victoria Beckham still crying over Brooklyn’s departure

Victoria Beckham hasn’t "stopped crying" since her son moved to New York City.

The 43-year-old fashion designer – who has Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old Harper with husband David – really "misses" her oldest child, who has relocated to the Big Apple to study photography at Parsons School of Design, and though he’s been gone for a few weeks now, she still hasn’t come to terms with him having flown the nest.

She admitted: "I’m still crying, Brooklyn’s moved to New York, he’s 18, and I haven’t stopped crying. I miss him so much, so much."

The former Spice Girls singer credits her kids with keeping her up to date with chart music, and she likes the fact they have a diverse range of tastes.

Speaking to make-up channel Pixiewoo in a YouTube interview, she said: "My kids really like music, so they keep me up to date with what’s the coolest music to listen to, it’s quite diverse.

"When we go anywhere, we take it in turns plugging their phones in so we can listen to their music…

"[Harper] only wants to listen to the soundtrack to ‘Grease’.

"If it’s Brooklyn, he likes Oasis but sometimes he’ll find what he considers new music and say, ‘Hey have you heard this mum?’ ‘I’ll say of course I’ve heard it, because it’s an old song he’s just found. With Cruz, it might be Mumford and Sons, Oasis, Justin Bieber.

"Romeo has the best music taste, he has New Addition, Michael Jackson, a bit of Madonna."

Brooklyn likes to ask his mother for advice on hairstyles, and she joked she’s the right person to come to.

She quipped: "He asked me the other day, have you heard of this thing called a perm, are you kidding me, do you know big my hair was in the 80s, I feel like I invented the perm!"

Victoria Beckham: I can laugh at my embarrassing outfits

Victoria Beckham is able to "smile" about some of the embarrassing outfits she’s worn in the past.

The singer-turned-designer first found fame as part of the Spice Girls and while Victoria acknowledges that some of the outfits she wore in her younger years were cringe-worthy, she’s still able to laugh at herself.

She said: "I look back at the things I’ve worn in the past and it makes me smile.

"It’s made me who I am now and part of growing up is trying new things. Some things work, some things don’t."

On one particular occasion, Victoria – who was known as Posh Spice during her time with the chart-topping group – said that she and her bandmates, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell, looked like they were "men in drag".

She told HELLO! magazine: "There’s one that was the most hideous – we went to the American Music Awards and we looked like men in drag.

"We had so much make-up on, it was unbelievable. I look back at the pictures and I’m like, ‘Woah!’ That was a lot of make-up, we took the layering of make-up to a whole new level."

Meanwhile, Victoria recently revealed she finds it hard to pick an outfit for herself during Fashion Week.

The 43-year-old designer showcased the new designs in her eponymous label at New York Fashion Week, and the star opted for a classic jeans and a white T-shirt ensemble because she didn’t "have the time to think" about her own outfit.

She said: "On the lead up to Fashion Week, you don’t really have the time to think about what you’re wearing because we’ve been so busy this week with the collection and the casting and everything else that goes with putting a big show together."

The Backstreet Boys crushed on the Spice Girls

The Backstreet Boys had secret crushes on members of the Spice Girls during their pop heyday.

The American band – which features AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell – rose to international prominence around the same time as the iconic girl group, and Aaron has admitted to secretly fancying members of the Spice Girls, which included Mel B, Mel C, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.

He said: "I wasn’t crushing on them as much as Howie. But they were all super cute and we were around each other a lot over in the UK.

"There were so many parallels, and I like to say it was us, the Spice Girls and Hanson who really broke pop radio around that time, so there’s a bond that’s there, even though we haven’t spent a lot of time together."

AJ said he thought Victoria and Geri were "gorgeous", but claimed Howie talked about Emma "all the time".

Howie, who recently performed at a show alongside Emma, told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "We were young and single, so I used to catch up with them at festival shows and go partying. We used to go to this place Momo, a Moroccan food place, and downstairs they have music and a band.

"Baby Spice was reminding me today about the last time we were all in the UK and she was like, ‘Last time we were together, we were salsa dancing downstairs.’

"There must have been some alcohol consumed because I don’t remember this too much! As she said it, I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I kind of remember…’"

Meanwhile, the boys also revealed they would relish the chance to perform with the girls at some stage in the future, should they decide to reunite.

Howie said: "They’re great girls, we respect them a lot and we’d love to do something with them in the future if it all works out. It would be a fun collaboration."
