Madison Beer ‘couldn’t do a long distance relationship’ with Brooklyn Beckham

Madison Beer and Brooklyn Beckham split because she "can’t do long distance" relationships.

The 18-year-old singer and Brooklyn were reported to have been seeing each other earlier this year, but Madison – who is based in Los Angeles – has revealed she couldn’t continue their romance after Brooklyn relocated to New York City, where he’s studying photography.

Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, Madison confessed: "I can’t do long distance."

In July, Madison appeared to confirm her relationship with Brooklyn, admitting they "hang out almost every day".

But she also conceded that their jam-packed schedules made life difficult for the duo.

Madison explained: "We are definitely crushing on each other.

"But we’re both very busy … He’s great, he’s a cutie, he’s one of my best friends … We hang out almost every day."

Madison’s remarks come shortly after it was reported Brooklyn has rekindled his romance with Hollywood actress Chloe Grace Moretz.

The 18-year-old aspiring photographer – who is the son of fashion icon Victoria Beckham and retired soccer star David Beckham – previously enjoyed a year-long romance with the ‘Kick-Ass’ actress between 2014 and 2015, and then again for five months last summer.

And a source recently claimed that Chloe was heard telling guests at a party in Los Angeles – which Brooklyn also attended – that they were giving their relationship another go.

An insider said: "Brooklyn and Chloe arrived together and she was chatting with other guests about how they had got back together."

However, the blonde beauty was said to have been more candid about their relationship status than Brooklyn.

The source shared: "She was much more open about their relationship than him. They seemed very comfortable together.

"It was quite a wild party but they were both being quite chill and low key."

Victoria Beckham is ‘upset’ about Brooklyn’s New York switch

Victoria Beckham is "upset" about her son Brooklyn’s impending move to New York City.

The 18-year-old photographer is poised to swap his family home in London to attend university in the Big Apple, but Brooklyn has revealed his fashion designer mother isn’t overly enthusiastic about the prospect of him moving.

Brooklyn said: "I’m nervous, and my mum’s upset about me leaving.

"But it’s really exciting. I kind of live in the moment."

Brooklyn has previously lived in Los Angeles, when his superstar dad David Beckham was playing soccer for LA Galaxy.

Now, the teenager is looking forward to relocating to the US once again, admitting he’s confident of making "life-long" friends during his time at Parsons School of Design, where he will study photography.

He told GQ magazine: "I don’t think people in New York will annoy me, and I feel like when I go there, I’ll meet life-long friends. Stuff like that."

Meanwhile, an insider previously claimed Brooklyn won’t be expecting any "special favours" during his studies.

The style-conscious student is sure to attract attention while he is in New York, but Brooklyn doesn’t want any extra privileges on account of his famous parents.

A source explained: "Brooklyn will head to Parsons in September where he will become an undergraduate. But he won’t be expecting any special treatment just because he’s the son of the Beckhams.

"He follows in the footsteps of huge fashion names including Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang and Nicky Hilton, so he is under a lot of pressure to prove himself. It’s a big move."

What’s more, another insider claimed Brooklyn isn’t anxious about moving away from home, because he’s already "pretty independent".

The source said: "Brooklyn is already pretty independent so he has few qualms about living away from his family.

"He’s obviously going to miss them all but he’s ready for his next adventure.

"If he wants to achieve his dream job full time, having the extra learning behind him will be such an asset."

David and Victoria Beckham visit Modern Family set

David and Victoria Beckham treated their family to a day on the ‘Modern Family’ set.

The couple took their children, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old Harper along to the studios on Thursday (10.08.17) and were joined by star Jesse Tyler Ferguson – who plays Mitchell Pritchett in the ABC sitcom – for a picture on set.

Victoria, 43, took to her Instagram account to share the photograph of her family and added the caption: "Dunphy’s are out,the Beckham’s moved in.The new modern family! #DavidDumphy #mitchstolemypose @jessetyler @davidbeckham X VB (sic)"

In the snap, both Victoria and David are in the background putting on comical poses alongside Jesse, while the younger kids and a pal sit on the sofa looking pleased with themselves with Brooklyn standing behind the couch.

Jesse joked the brunette fashion designer could portray a great version of Julie Bowen’s character Claire Dunphy and earmarked David as Ty Burrell’s alter-ego Phil Dunphy.

He posted the same picture as Victoria on Instagram and wrote: "The role of Claire is being played by @victoriabeckham. The role of Phil is being played by @davidbeckham. The role of Victoria Beckham is being played by @jessetyler. (sic)"

The 41-year-old star also thanked the family for their visit but insisted to fans that they will not be making a guest appearance on the show anytime soon, despite picking out a role former footballer David, 42, could take on.

He added: "Thank you all for coming to visit the Modern Family set today! We loved having you all!!! EDIT: the family was only visiting the set, not shooting an episode. Although I think David could be Lily’s new soccer coach (sic)"

Victoria Beckham suing takeaway over ‘thoughtless’ advert

Victoria Beckham is suing a takeaway restaurant which compared its pizza crusts to her figure.

The 43-year-old model has launched legal action after Sidhu Golden Fish and Chips in Battle Hill, north east England, created a caricature of the Spice Girls singer wearing a sash which reads "Anorexic Fashion Icon" to advertise its 2mm pizza crusts on the back of their delivery van.

The message on the ad reads: "Our new Victoria Beckham Thin Crust only 2mm Thin!! (sic)"

There is also an arrow pointing towards the cartoon drawing of the brunette saying "this is not thin", and another pointing to one of the outer layer of one of their baked flatbreads which reads: "This is thin".

But Victoria’s spokesperson has branded the slogan "thoughtless".

They said: "It is highly inappropriate to trivialize such a disorder, and defamatory to be so thoughtless with a person’s reputation in this way, sadly this is now a legal matter."

The takeaway’s manager Soni Sidhu has insisted the company didn’t intend to "make light" of eating disorders.

He said: "As the manager and on the behalf of all our staff and owners I would like to state we recognize how serious eating disorders are and would never make light the seriousness of people with eating disorders.

"We would like our customers and all people in general to take our advertising in context."

However, Marg Oaten, a co-founder of eating disorder support service SEED, has slammed the advert as "appalling" and insisted company bosses should "hang their heads in shame".

She is quoted by Mail Online as saying: "Twenty per cent of people who suffer from an eating disorder die each year.

"To trivialize anorexia in a pizza advert is appalling.

"There has been a lot of good work done around mental health recently, especially by the royals, in reducing the stigma attached to eating disorders.

"This is a step in the wrong direction. The people responsible for this should hang their heads in shame.

"The advert puts people at genuine risk. Those who suffer from eating disorders are constantly battling with their feelings and thoughts."

David Beckham’s tribute to late nan

David Beckham has paid tribute to his late grandmother.

The retired soccer star took to Instagram to post a sweet message in memory of his late nan Peggy, who passed away aged 83 in November 2013, on what would have been her 86th birthday.

Posting a poignant tribute on social media, he wrote: "Today would of been my Nan’s birthday someone that was so special in so many different ways to us all …

"Someone that loved her family with a passion and was one of the strongest women that I know … We miss you x @sandra_beckham49 @joannebeckham @lynnebeckham72 (sic)"

Meanwhile, David and Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn is set to fly the nest soon as he moves to New York to follow his dream of studying photography.

Admitting he is "really scared" by the prospect, he said: "I’m actually moving to New York in two weeks. I’m kinda just gonna disappear and study for a few years and see what happens after that.

"I’m nervous about moving away from my family, that’s one thing that I’m really scared of, but I feel like it’ll be good for me to live on my own for a bit and really knuckle down on what I really love and study.

"Me and my mum and dad were kind of selective and we didn’t want to put too many personal ones in there. It’s kind of a mix, we got a few family ones in there. They’re so supportive. My mum and dad really helped me as well with this book so I couldn’t have done it without them."

Brooklyn Beckham ‘really scared’ about leaving family

Brooklyn Beckham is "really scared" about moving away from his family.

The 18-year-old student is set to study photography in New York, but he is "nervous" about leaving his parents David and Victoria Beckham, and younger siblings, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six, behind.

He said: "I’m actually moving to New York in two weeks. I’m kinda just gonna disappear and study for a few years and see what happens after that.

"I’m nervous about moving away from my family, that’s one thing that I’m really scared of, but I feel like it’ll be good for me to live on my own for a bit and really knuckle down on what I really love and study."

Brooklyn admitted his mother and father have been "so supportive" in his quest to become a photographer, and helped him choose pictures for his photo book ‘What I See’.

He said: "Me and my mum and dad were kind of selective and we didn’t want to put too many personal ones in there.

"It’s kind of a mix, we got a few family ones in there. They’re so supportive. My mum and dad really helped me as well with this book so I couldn’t have done it without them."

The star credits his mother with starting him out on the photography road when he was chatting to her about it aged 13, and David then bought him his first camera so he could take more professional-looking snaps.

He added to TooFab: "I started taking some on my phone, so my dad bought me my first camera, a Fujifilm, and so I started posting them on Instagram and a few years later Penguin came to me and asked me to do a book and I couldn’t believe it.

"It was so cool, I never thought I would be an author. It was a cool opportunity and I think it turned out pretty well."

Brooklyn recently admitted he has mixed feelings about fame because, while he gets great "opportunities", he can’t go out partying "all the time".

He said: "I feel like it [fame] has its ups and downs. I feel like I get opportunities that most people my age don’t get.

"But, like, I can’t do what most 18 year olds do. Like, I can’t go out partying all the time, I have to work and get up early. So it kind of has its ups and downs."

Brooklyn Beckham: Dating in the spotlight’s annoying

Brooklyn Beckham says dating can be "annoying" in the spotlight.

The 18-year-old aspiring photographer admits it is tough finding love when you’re famous and he has revealed his parents – David and Victoria Beckham – always vet who he goes on dates with.

He said: "[Victoria’s] always said she’ll like any girl that I bring back, or anyone like a mate … [Victoria and David] are both kind of the same, they can tell who’s nice and who isn’t."

And Brooklyn revealed the whole family – David and Victoria and their kids Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six – are all very "supportive" of each other.

He added: [We are all very] supportive. We are all encouraging of each others’ interests and passions."

Brooklyn admits he is "really protective" of his younger siblings and loves being able to photograph his brothers and sister.

He told People magazine: "[I’m] really protective … I’m always here for any of my siblings, really, but yeah, I’m now teaching Romeo how to pick nice friends. I kind of help them with whatever they need, really …

"I love [taking photographs] of the family – of course it’s always going to be a much more intimate shot when you know your subject so well. I love taking photos of all of my family but Harper is really cute to photograph, and my brother Romeo because of his shaved head. Cruz is just cheeky, so it’s always fun to get a picture of him too."

Meanwhile, David previously revealed his wife Victoria finds it difficult to watch their son dating.

He said: "I think it’s easier for me than Brooklyn’s mum, you know? To see her little boy go out and date … Obviously for mums I think it’s slightly more difficult with the boys but obviously once Harper [their daughter] starts [dating] … I don’t even want to think about that at the moment."

Madison Beer denies Brooklyn Beckham romance

Madison Beer insists she and Brooklyn Beckham are not dating.

Although the pair were spotted kissing in Los Angeles recently, Madison, 18, insists she and the aspiring photographer are just good friends and are not romantically involved.

In an interview with BUILD Series, she said: "I’m very much single, not ready to mingle. I’m very much focused right now on my career. I’m 18 just trying to navigate my life and I’m having fun and there’s obviously boys I can crush on, but I’m very much single.

"He’s great, though, he’s a cutie, literally one of my best friends. It’s hard because now every time I’m seen with him people are like, ‘Oh my god, they’re boyfriend and girlfriend!’ But we’re seriously best friends. We hang out almost every day with our whole group of friends in LA together and he’s moving to New York soon, so we’re just having fun right now and speculation is going to get started."

Madison also hit out at those who are jealous of her friendship with Brooklyn, 18, whose parents are David and Victoria Beckham.

She added: "Don’t attack a girl because you see one photo of her and a guy in public. You have no idea what this person’s doing behind closed doors. I’m also very open with my fan base and we’re all very close and I don’t feel like I have to hide anything from them.

"And me and Brooklyn very easily could go through the back of place or we could do whatever, but I’m not sneaky and I don’t lie."

Brooklyn is currently house hunting in New York, as he is set to relocate for university to study photography.

He recently said: "When I moved back to London I was looking at my GCSE options and photography really stood out. My dad had bought me a camera and I started using it and I loved the whole process – from taking the pictures to editing and developing – and I just started taking photos the whole time.

"I am going to study photography in New York and I have been doing intern work for some of the most inspiring fashion photographers."

Brooklyn Beckham is househunting

Brooklyn Beckham is househunting in New York.

The 18-year-old aspiring photographer – who is the son of David and Victoria Beckham – is currently looking for an apartment in the city as he is set to relocate for university, where he will be further studying his passion and hoped for future career.

A source told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: "Brooklyn is looking to take a bite [out] of the Big Apple.

"He’s searching for a space of his own in New York. He’s planning on moving there next month to pursue his photography career, among other things."

However, the source added the teenager is also planning to spend a lot of time in Los Angeles "to pursue his relationship with Madison [Beer]".

Brooklyn’s interest in photography became serious just a few years ago and after his dad David, 42, bought him a camera he began to learn about the whole process.

He explained recently: "When I moved back to London I was looking at my GCSE options and photography really stood out. My dad had bought me a camera and I started using it and realised how much I love the whole process – from taking the pictures to editing and developing – and I just started taking photos the whole time.

"I have just been really unbelievably lucky to have been given this opportunity to publish a book and have an exhibition [at Christies, Mayfair]. I didn’t go seeking it and so now I plan to carry on with my studies and work experience.

"I am going to study photography in New York and I have been doing intern work for some of the most inspiring fashion photographers."

Brooklyn Beckham’s new tattoo

Brooklyn Beckham has gotten a new tattoo.

The son of David and Victoria Beckham – who got two tattoos after turning 18 earlier this year – has added a third inking to his collection; a compass on his lower left arm.

Brooklyn shared a picture of the tattoo on Instagram and tagged the renowned artist Dr Woo, simply writing: "Thanks mate."

In April this year, Brooklyn got his first tattoo, an image of a Native American chief, inscribed onto his forearm at the Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood, by the legendary tattoo artist Mark Mahoney .

Mark is the owner of and the principal artist at Shamrock Social Club, which is hugely popular with celebrities and he has also worked with Lana Del Rey on two of her music videos.

Brooklyn wrote: "Honoured to have my first tattoo done by dads friend Mark Mahoney(sic)," and added: "Thank you so much Mark x just like dads.(sic)"

While Brooklyn got his inking on his forearm, his father David Beckham has the same tattoo on his side.

And later that month, Brooklyn enlisted Dr Woo to complete his second inking; a camera on his upper left arm.

Proudly showing off the new ink, Brooklyn wrote: "Great second tattoo by @_dr_woo_ (sic)."

Brooklyn’s tattoo is a nod to his passion for photography and the youngster has already published a book of his pictures called ‘What I See’.

Meanwhile, David previously revealed he stopped Brooklyn getting his first tattoo because he wasn’t with him.

The 42-year-old retired soccer star – who has a number of inkings himself – had always made Brooklyn "promise" he could be with him when he got inked for the first time, so after being tipped off by a friend in Paris, France, that his eldest child was planning a secret body art session, he quickly intervened.

He said: "He was with his girlfriend in Paris, and one of my friends called me that was looking after him there and said, ‘It’s not coming from me, but Brooklyn is in a tattoo shop with his girlfriend.

"And he’d always promised me, and I always said to him, ‘Your first tattoo, if you’re gonna have one, your first tattoo, I want to be there just to experience it as a dad.

"That was the deal… So I called him, I FaceTimed him, and I said, ‘What are you doing mate?’ And he said, ‘I’m just going for dinner.’ And I was like, ‘Are you sure you’re going for dinner?’ And he was like, ‘Actually dad, I’m in a tattoo place. I was thinking about having something, I’m with my girlfriend.’

"I was like, ‘OK, you’re more than welcome to have it but you remember you promised me, and I’m your dad and I would feel really upset if you actually went through with it,’ so he didn’t. Thankfully he waited."
