Harper Beckham attends tea party at Buckingham Palace

Harper Beckham attended a tea party at Buckingham Palace last week.

The six-year-old daughter of David and Victoria Beckham wore a gown inspired by Queen Elsa from the movie ‘Frozen’ for the bash at the royal residence, where she spent time with the likes of Princess Eugenie and a host of her school friends.

Harper celebrates her birthday today (10.07.17) and to mark the occasion, David has posted a glowing tribute to his daughter on Instagram.

Alongside a snap of the pair at the Palace, the retired soccer star wrote: "Happy Birthday to our special little young lady …Such a special girl who brings so much joy and happiness into our lives.. Happy 6th birthday ( I can’t believe your 6 already ) have the most amazing day we love you pretty lady x (sic)"

In a subsequent post, David shared a picture of Harper and her friends with Princess Eugenie – the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York – at the Palace, where a number of schools were recently invited to visit.

He captioned the image: "Lucky Harper meeting a real life princess at the Palace x (sic)"

Meanwhile, Victoria also posted a snap of Harper holding a red balloon while stood outside the world-famous landmark.

The fashion designer wrote: "Our little birthday princess x Kisses (sic)"

This comes shortly after David revealed that his three sons – Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 12 – have already developed a protective attitude towards their little sister.

David admitted he’s dreading the day Harper starts dating, but he knows the boys will be on hand to help him out.

He said: "Luckily, she’s got three older brothers as well. So once she starts dating, that person will have to go through an inspection with her brothers [and] her dad. It’ll be tough."

David Beckham shares throwback snap of him and Victoria on anniversary

David Beckham wished his wife Victoria Beckham a happy 18th wedding anniversary by uploading a throwback snap showing the happy couple wearing matching leather jackets.

The 42-year-old retired soccer legend logged onto Instagram and found a photo from the archive showing one of their many bad clothing choices with which to tease his now respected fashion designer spouse.

The image showed the happy couple in matching black Versace biker jackets and black leather trousers as they attended a party hosted by Donatella Versace back in 1999.

His accompanying caption said: "Wow we really did this. Happy Anniversary to an amazing wife, mummy and strong business woman @victoriabeckham @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #Harpernotoninstagram Love you x (sic)"

Victoria, 43, also took to the photo sharing site with a picture of their wedding day with David holding the then four-month-old Brooklyn.

She wrote: "I love you. Kisses x (sic)"

The couple first met in 1996 after the former Spice Girl attended a Manchester United match when he played right midfield for the club.

In January 1998, David proposed to Victoria and they got married at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland on July 4, 1999.

On their wedding day, Victoria donned a Vivienne Westwood cream gown with a crown on her cropped hair while David was wearing a white suit with a silk cravat and his iconic blonde, highlighted hair and they sat on gold thrones.

Since their marriage, the couple have become one of the most famous families in the world and as well as having, Brooklyn, 18, they have had three more children, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and Harper, five.

Although they may well be one of the most stylish couples around, David and Victoria have made more than their fair share of fashion faux pas including the hunk once donning a sarong.

Victoria – whose eponymous label has earned her various awards and plaudits – has been open about her past fashion disasters.

She previously said: "At some point I thought it was OK to wear a PVC cat suit! When I was pregnant with Romeo, I walked around Disneyland in Christian Louboutin heels, literally at nine months pregnant!"

Backstreet Boys to do ‘epic tour’ with Spice Girls?

The Backstreet Boys are hoping to do an "epic tour" with the Spice Girls.

The ‘I Want It That Way’ hitmakers have teased they’ve had "conversations" with the 90s’ pop girl group about teaming up in the near future and hitting the stage together to perform their impressive roster of smash hits to their fans around the world.

Nick Carter told Us Weekly magazine in a new interview: "There’s been talks about it, you know? But I think it’s all about them kind of getting the girls together, and they’re doing things with their families and everything. We’re always open to going on tour with them. I think it would be an epic tour if we ever did it."

And it seems like a joint tour could be feasible as Nick is currently working with the Spice Girl’s Emma Bunton – and Timbaland – on ABC’s ‘Boy Band’.

The two popular bands certainly have experience touring together as they used to work together on radio shows in the UK when they both first started out.

Nick, 37, explained: "We’ve had lots of stories that we’ve been able to share with each other while we’ve been doing the show. It’s been great, the stories we got."

The Spice Girls – comprised of Emma, Geri Horner, Mel B, Mel C and Victoria Beckham – formed in 1994 but split in 2000 and reunited for The Return Of The Spice Girls tour in 2007 and 2008, and then for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

Geri, Emma and Mel B – also known as GEM – had planned to perform a gig in London’s Hyde Park this summer in celebration of the 21st anniversary of the band’s debut single ‘Wannabe’, but the the idea was reportedly scrapped after the flame-haired beauty, also known as Ginger Spice, fell pregnant with her second child.

The Backstreet Boys – made up of Nick, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell – formed in 1993 and are still together.

David Beckham: I kiss all my kids on the lips

David Beckham kisses all of his children on the lips.

The 42-year-old retired soccer star was recently criticised for posting an Instagram shot of himself kissing his five-year-old daughter Harper on the lips – but David has admitted he does the same with all of his kids.

David – who also has sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 12, with his wife Victoria – shared: "I got actually criticised for kissing my daughter on the lips the other day. I kiss all my kids on the lips."

But on reflection, David admitted Brooklyn may have grown a bit too old to receive a peck from his dad.

He explained: "Brooklyn maybe not. Brooklyn’s 18, he might find that a little bit strange.

"But I’m very affectionate with the kids. It’s how I was brought up and Victoria, and it’s how we are with our children.

"We want to show our kids love and we protect them, look after them, and support them, and we’re very affectionate with them."

Meanwhile, David also revealed his three sons have already developed a protective attitude towards their little sister.

The ex-soccer star confessed he’s dreading the day Harper starts dating, but he knows the boys will be on hand to help him out.

David said: "Luckily, she’s got three older brothers as well. So once she starts dating, that person will have to go through an inspection with her brothers [and] her dad. It’ll be tough."

And despite the stresses of parenthood, David relishes the challenge.

Speaking in a Facebook Live, David said: "Having children is the most special thing in the world.

"You don’t love any of them any more than any of the others. It’s just different, you know. The boys are very protective over her, and obviously so am I, as you can tell."

Brooklyn Beckham determined to prove himself

Brooklyn Beckham is determined to prove himself as a photographer with his upcoming book ‘What I See’ and show the world he doesn’t want to just trade off his famous dad’s name.

The budding 18-year-old photographer will unveil his tome, a collection of 300 images he has shot in the world, on Thursday (06.29.17) and he is well aware that his work will be severely scrutinized because his parents are David and Victoria Beckham.

Although he readily accepts that he is "lucky" to have had a privileged upbringing and has already been afforded opportunities that most teenagers can only dream of, Brooklyn is determined to make his own name in his chosen profession.

Speaking to Yahoo Celeb UK, he said: "I know there are a lot of preconceptions about me associated with my name, and that’s understandable. I’m a bit nervous but I think anyone would be. I hope with this book and with the photographs I’ve been taking over the past few years people will see that I really do genuinely love it. The title says it all – it really is a snapshot into what I see."

Brooklyn’s interest in photography became serious just a few years ago and after his dad David, 42, bought him a camera he began to learn about the whole process.

He added: "When I moved back to London I was looking at my GCSE options and photography really stood out. My dad had bought me a camera and I started using it and realized how much I love the whole process – from taking the pictures to editing and developing – and I just started taking photos the whole time. I have just been really unbelievably lucky to have been given this opportunity to publish a book and have an exhibition [at Christies, Mayfair]. I didn’t go seeking it and so now I plan to carry on with my studies and work experience. I am going to study photography in New York and I have been doing intern work for some of the most inspiring fashion photographers."

Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 12, have also both benefited from ‘Brand Beckham’, with the teenager modeling for Burberry, whilst Cruz has already released a pop single. The boys’ sister Harper, five, has seen her mother Victoria, 43, trademark her name in the UK and Europe.

Brooklyn, who is going to university in September to study a course in photography, is hosting a book signing at a top secret location in Manchester this week to launch ‘What I See’.

Geri Horner turned to God to conceive at 44

Geri Horner said a prayer to God in a bid to conceive naturally at 44.

The former Spice Girls star revealed it took just two months to fall pregnant after she looked for divine intervention – and she considers her five-month-old son Monty to be a "gift" from God.

Geri – who has Monty with her husband Christian Horner – said: "I really wanted to have another baby and I’m older now, and you think ‘oh is that possible?’

"I thought maybe it’s not for me but I would really like this for this relationship."

Geri, who also has an 11-year-old daughter called Bluebell from her relationship with Sacha Gervasi, revealed she turned to God for help when she’d virtually given up hope of having another child.

She told The Sun newspaper: "Bluebell, my daughter said to me, ‘please don’t give up’.

"Sometimes in life, when our back is against the wall, you suddenly think maybe I’m not running the show here, maybe there’s something bigger than myself.

"I actually said a prayer. I went, ‘God, if you exist then I’ll have a baby naturally’. I swear on my life that’s what I did.

"I put my hands together and I prayed and two months later I got pregnant."

Geri believes that Monty stands as living proof that God does exist.

She explained: "It was really bizarre. I was like, OK, that’s testimony that sometimes in life maybe there is something bigger.

"This little baby Monty felt like this little gift from something bigger, whatever we choose to believe in. I just did acupuncture and prayer and that was it."

Meanwhile, Geri recently rubbished claims that she and her former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham are at loggerheads.

In fact, she revealed the fashion designer has already been to visit her and Monty.

Geri said: "She’s a beautiful person, she’s kind and she came round to visit Monty."

David and Victoria Beckham set to watch Ed Sheeran at Glastonbury

David and Victoria Beckham will be among the crowd for Ed Sheeran’s headline set at Glastonbury.

The flame-haired singer has revealed that the retired soccer star and the fashion designer will watch him in action at the world-famous festival, where Ed hopes to spend some time with the couple.

Ed – who is dating hockey star Cherry Seaborn – said: "Victoria and David are coming down. They got tickets separately.

"They were going anyway but I think I’ll see them at some point.

"Basically all of my tickets went to every single aunt and uncle, cousin, cousin’s wife, cousin’s husband, cousin’s kids and all of Cherry’s family and all of our school mates."

Ed, 26, is a friend and a neighbour of the Beckhams.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he shared: "We live really, really near each other.

"We met in New York. I was with Cherry and we just went somewhere and made friends. They’re really cool. I like them."

As well as starring at Glastonbury, Ed is currently working on making a movie.

The ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker intends to appear in the film and he would love to have Academy Award-winning actress Dame Helen Mirren star alongside him.

Ed – who also plans to write the music for his movie – said: "I mean the movie is in the works but I don’t have any time to shoot it until 2019.

"Well, there have been talks about another leading role in it like a love interest.

"I would love someone unknown, but I have always loved Helen Mirren.

"Yeah, if like me and Helen could do a love scene – I guess that sounds weird, doesn’t it? But I’m not really a good actor and she’s a very good actress so I don’t think she’d want to do it."

Geri Horner hails ‘wonderful’ Spice Girls

Geri Horner will "always have room" for the Spice Girls.

The 44-year-old singer – who starred in the chart-topping girl group alongside Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton – has admitted she would relish the opportunity to reconnect with her former bandmates.

She shared: "Any stage that is laid in front of me will always have room for those wonderful girls."

Plans for a Spice Girls 20th anniversary reunion had be shelved after Victoria and Mel C rejected the idea.

But Geri – who gave birth to her second child, a son called Montague, in January this year – has rubbished the suggestion that she and Victoria are currently at loggerheads.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She’s a beautiful person, she’s kind and she came round to visit Monty."

Mel C previously spoke out against the reunion, saying the band reached their peak when they performed at the London Olympics in 2012.

She said: "I’d love to play huge arenas across the world, sing our brilliantly bonkers pop songs and relive our former glory.

"It is of course a very lucrative opportunity too. But we were a five-piece band. Didn’t we reach a peak with the Olympics? There’s a lot to be said for bowing out on a high note.

"For me the absolute pinnacle of my Spice existence was being watched by a billion people around the globe belting out ‘Spice Up Your Life’ on top of a black cab at the 2012 London Olympics."

Mel also slammed the idea of an incomplete version of the band performing under the Spice Girls banner.

She said: "Anything less than the full line-up just didn’t feel like we’d be doing justice to the band or the fans."

David Beckham wanted to be with Brooklyn for his tattoo

David Beckham stopped his son getting a tattoo because he wasn’t with him.

The 42-year-old retired soccer star – who has a number of inkings himself – had always made 18-year-old Brooklyn "promise" he could be with him when he got inked for the first time, so after being tipped off by a friend in Paris, France, that his eldest child was planning a secret body art session, he quickly intervened.

He said: "He was with his girlfriend in Paris, and one of my friends called me that was looking after him there and said, ‘It’s not coming from me, but Brooklyn is in a tattoo shop with his girlfriend.

"And he’d always promised me, and I always said to him, ‘Your first tattoo, if you’re gonna have one, your first tattoo, I want to be there just to experience it as a dad.

"That was the deal… So I called him, I FaceTimed him, and I said, ‘What are you doing mate?’ And he said, ‘I’m just going for dinner.’ And I was like, ‘Are you sure you’re going for dinner?’ And he was like, ‘Actually dad, I’m in a tattoo place. I was thinking about having something, I’m with my girlfriend.’

"I was like, ‘OK, you’re more than welcome to have it but you remember you promised me, and I’m your dad and I would feel really upset if you actually went through with it,’ so he didn’t. Thankfully he waited."

And David – who also has Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and five-year-old Harper with wife Victoria – admitted Brooklyn had been waiting a very long time before being allowed to get inked after turning 18 in March.

Speaking to James Corden on ‘The Late, Late Show’, he said: "There’s absolutely nothing I can say. He’s got two. He was 18 pretty recently, and he was counting the days down because he talked about having a tattoo for a long time."

For his first tattoo, the aspiring photographer opted to have a Native American chief etched onto his forearm, a design which David has on his side, by legendary tattoo artist Mark Mahoney, the owner and principal artist at Hollywood’s Shamrock Social Club.

Brooklyn shared a photo on Instagram and wrote: "Honoured to have my first tattoo done by dads friend Mark Mahoney(sic)," and added: "Thank you so much Mark x just like dads.(sic)"

A few days later, the teenager had a camera inked on his upper left arm.

David Beckham surprises dads ahead of Father’s Day

David Beckham surprised a group of dads by making an unannounced appearance at an event in London on Tuesday (06.06.17) to celebrate Father’s Day.

The retired soccer star was joined at the bash, hosted by Haig Club and Selfridges, by his dad Ted, and his wife Victoria’s father and brother, Tony and Christian.

The group chatted to guests at a cocktail masterclass in the UK capital and David – who has Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and Harper, five, with Victoria – shared his own experiences of fatherhood.

During a conversation about his long-term hopes for his children, he shared: "As a father you want them to be passionate about something, you want them to love what they do and you want them to love what they do."

David admitted to being extremely grateful towards his own parents for their love and support over the years.

Looking forward to Father’s Day on June 18, David explained: "I wouldn’t have achieved what I have achieved in my career or my life, without the support from my parents."

The retired sportsman also revealed he loves nothing more than spending quality time with his family.

He explained: "Time with the kids is the most important thing to me."

Meanwhile, David previously said his parents have been a key part of his success.

The 42-year-old star – who hails from humble beginnings in London – explained: "My motivation comes from my working-class parents who gave their life for their kids. My parents worked hard for us and we’re fortunate to have parents who worked as hard as they did.

"My mum would take us to school, pick us up from school, cook us dinner, put us to bed then clients would come over and she’d cut their hair. That’s where my work ethic comes from."
