A spokesperson for Jennifer Hudson denies rumours the singer was forced to start her album over after receiving negative comments from her record label, Starpulse reports.
When the singer-actress sent in some new songs from her new album, rumours started that her record label, J Records, was not impressed by the work. They claimed she was ordered back into studio to record some new songs.
However, a rep for the star categorically says the speculation is false. He adds that Hudson is only halfway through the album-making process.
He says, "We’ve received terrific feedback on the material. (Hudson is only) in the beginning stages (of recording the album)."
Jennifer Hudson’s new as-yet-unnamed album is scheduled to be released in September.
