In the magazine’s special edition issue, People presented its list of the 25 Most Intriguing People of 2009. At the top, we find Taylor Swift, whose career has turned into a dream.
The young star became a sensation with her 2009 album Fearless, which was the bestselling album of the year. In addition, she played countless sold out shows on her tour. Swift also earned Artist of the Year at the Country Music Association awards ceremony and was nominated in eight Grammy Awards categories.
Speaking of her sudden stardom, the singer stated, "You can stay the same person, even if everything around you changes. I would like to think everybody out there isn’t just waiting for me to trip and fall and stumble out of a club drunk."
Also on the list of the 25 Most Intriguing People of 2009 are Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Mo’Nique, Barack and Michelle Obama, Sandra Bullock, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Palin, Jaycee Dugard, Rihanna and several others.
Since last October, Taylor Swift has been rumoured to be dating Twilight star Taylor Lautner, after they were spotted together on several occasions.
