Country pop star Taylor Swift stars in the 40-second teaser trailer for her upcoming new fragrance, Wonderstruck, which is now streaming online, reports Coco Perez.
Wearing a strapless ruffled Christian Siriano gown, Swift sweeps along, the skirt’s frothy hem floating ethereally around her. Like Cinderella dressed for the Ball, the singer makes her way across the grounds of a massive estate. As she winds her way down a huge marble staircase and drifts through rooms in the elegant mansion, she spies a handsome gentleman who appears to have been waiting for her.
"This September, the magic begins, the journey begins, the wonder begins," promises the trailer. "Get Wonderstruck this September."
Everything about the new fragrance is drawn from Swift’s own life, from the scent – inspired by her favorite memories – to the name: "I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,’ for the song ‘Enchanted’ about the first time you meet someone," the star explained.
"Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories. Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you to relive a moment in time."
The fruity, floral scent has sweet top notes of freesia, raspberry and apple blossom over more intimate base notes of golden amber and sandalwood. The fragrance also contains notes of vanilla, honeysuckle and white hibiscus.
