The two stars worked under the direction of Martin Campbell, who also directed the successful Mask of Zorro in 1998.
In the film, set in 1850, Zorro is given the most dangerous mission of his life. After helping California to become the 31st state of the union, Zorro (Banderas) keeps a promise to his wife Elena (Zeta Jones) – to reveal his identity and live a normal life. When trouble continues, only Zorro can save the town, but he will have to put his promise in jeopardy to do it.
The Legend of Zorro opens in theatres on October 28.
