We already knew that the 2024 NHL amateur draft would be held in Las Vegas next summer.
The event was expected to take place at T-Mobile Arena, home of the Vegas Golden Knights.
But recently, there have been rumours that the Sphere in Las Vegas could be the chosen venue.

Just thinking about it gives me chills. It would be incredible, honestly.
Imagine the draft in this beautiful sphere, in the middle of summer, in Vegas.
The images are incredible at shows held there.

The latest NHL draft took place at Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators.
It was a beautiful experience, because Nashville is one of a kind.
But Vegas is just as unique, if not more so, and to experience it at the Sphere would be awe-inspiring.
Although nothing has been confirmed, there seems to be a good chance of it happening.
Remember that recently, there have been talks that the draft format could change.
It would be similar to the NBA format, where the youngsters would stay at home.
Prospects would be live from home with family and friends, which is a very good idea.
If this could be confirmed for the next draft, this format would be great for a place like the Sphere.
Vegas likes to do things differently.
Just think of their introductory playoff games in recent years, or the All-Star Game in 2022 with some completely different events.
Would you like the draft to take place at the Sphere?
