The American Auto Association (AAA) has identified hotels that are environmentally friendly in their new guide.
To better meet the environmental aspirations of some of their members, the AAA lists those hotels that have been certified with the ECO green logo. The AAA is not involved in the classification, they only identify hotels that have been given this green symbol by private and government institutions.
Canadian travelers who want to visit the United States and stay at hotels certified ECO can get the AAA guide. The hotels must first receive a recommendation by the AAA and then become certified by ECO before they are listed in the guide.
