The Arash AF-10 Is Ready for the Road

Every once in a while, someone presents the idea of an 800 kilo supercar with 3 000 horsepower.  Often these projects fall into oblivion and bankruptcy.  However, Arash has followed through with the AF-10, despite some insanity.

The vehicle uses a complex and expensive carbon fibre.  Unlike the Noble M600, which it hopes to compete with, the AF-10 uses the carbon fibre everywhere, from the chassis to the bodywork.

Though the exact weight has not been disclosed, the figure will likely be around 1 200 kilos.  The car’s unreasonable power comes from a 7-litre V8 stolen from the Corvette Z06, but it didn’t stop with only 550 horsepower.  Arash added a turbo to a supercharged version, cranking the horsepower to 800, only to be followed by an even more powerful version with 1 001 hp!

Proof that the project is indeed a reality, Loris Bicocchi, who has worked with the Bugatti Veyron, is carrying out the chassis work.

Obviously, the price will be as mad as the car.  With only 70 models planned for production over the next five years, the supercar will set you back $556 000 CAD!
