The Audi e-Tron Gets the Green Light

The president of Audi US, Johan de Nysschen, confirmed that the concept will become two running prototypes over the next two years. The automaker plans to take on the Mercedes AMG eSLS.

The Audi e-Tron is an electric-powered R8, featuring four motors that provide power to the wheels, and has the ability of traveling up to 248 km with a single charge.  The car will put out 313 horsepower and a massive 3 319 ft-lb of torque.
