According to Billboard.com, the Beatles’ record label, Apple Corps Ltd., and MTV/Harmonix, the creators of Rock Band, announced today (October 30) that an exclusive agreement has been established to develop an interactive music game based on the Beatles’ complete catalogue.
This deal was reached after several months of negotiation. The game will give players a look into the band’s career, vision and music, with the incorporation of the band’s original, non-remastered recordings.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are involved in the project that is slated for a release in 2009.
