The Bee Gees plan comeback

Robin Gibb hopes to hit the road with brother Barry once his health improves.

Currently very ill, Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees, hopes to sing again with his brother Barry Gibb, once he has recovered, reports Starpulse.

The singer was hospitalized for several weeks for severe abdominal pain, before discovering that he had liver cancer. Gibb’s associate at his former record label, David English, revealed the singer was discussing future musical plans.

English told Britain’s Daily Mail, "He’s not very well, obviously. The whole family was there when I went to see him this week…Barry came out with it and said: ‘Look, why don’t we go on the road again?’ And Rob just grinned and said: ‘Great, when can we go?’

“We said, ‘Well, we need to get you a bit stronger and better first, we will have to feed you up, none of this vegan nonsense with herbal tea.’ I think it was the best medicine we could have given him.”

Formed in 1960 by three brothers – Barry, Maurice and Robin – the brothers Gibb, or Bee Gees as they’re known, became superstars with their soundtrack for the disco film Saturday Night Fever.

Barry and Robin decided to disband the group in 2003, following the death of Maurice, although there have been occasional reunion rumors.
