Euromonitor International has published its list of the best-selling signature celebrity perfumes.
Elizabeth Taylor, the 77-year-old Hollywood icon, has been picked for having the best-selling perfume of all time. She is followed by younger stars such as Britney Spears, 28, and Sarah Jessica Parker, 44. Taylor’s White Diamonds fragrance was first launched by Elizabeth Arden in 1991, and brought in 67.2 million US dollars in 2008.
Hip-hop star Sean "Diddy" Combs is found in second place with his scent, Unforgivable, which garnered 48.5 million dollars last year.
Celine Dion’s fragrance, named after the Quebec singer herself, follows in at third ($26.4 million), while Sarah Jessica Parker’s Lovely comes in at fourth ($25.7 million).
Fifth place goes to Derek Jeter, whose fragrance Driven earned $24.1 million dollars, followed by actor Antonio Banderas’s Diavolo ($18.8 million).
Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez is listed in seventh with Glow ($18.5 million), and Curious by Britney Spears takes eighth ($14.3 million).
