The Black Eyed Peas take a break

The group has been working non-stop since their last two albums.

Leader for the Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am, has confirmed that the band will be taking a welcome break following the conclusion of their Massive Stadium Tour in Madrid on July 14, reports Music News.

After that, they have only two shows planned in the United States on July 27 and 30, and a commitment to play Brazil in November.

To reassure fans, will.i.am tweeted that the pop group “…will take a break…but it doesn’t mean we stop creating.”

The hiatus is expected to give the musicians time to pursue individual projects. Will.i.am will most likely continue working as a record producer, and Fergie may resume her solo career. There has been no confirmation on projects for the other two members, apl.de.ap and Taboo.
