After it was announced that Colin Firth (Bridget Jones) and Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian) would be starring in the film Dorian Gray, the rest of the cast has been revealed.
Rebecca Hall, Ben Chaplin, Emilia Fox, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Fiona Shaw, Maryam D’Abo, Pip Torrens, Douglas Henshall, Caroline Goodall, Michael Culkin and Johnny Harris are now expected to report to the set, not to mention Max Irons, actor Jeremy Irons’ son.
The story, based on Oscar Wilde’s classic novel, is about a man (Dorian Gray) who becomes obsessed with beauty, after he poses for a special painting. While he delves into a hedonistic lifestyle, the portrait begins to age away but he does not.
Ben Barnes will play the main character. Filming will begin soon.
